- Tex, on 07/28/2008, -12/+378The Clinton machine's politics of attack and slime backfired this time.
- rosullivan, on 01/27/2008, -53/+354Suck it, Hitlary!
- bewth, on 01/27/2008, -7/+271You forgot to cry for votes, Hillary.
- SheilaNoya, on 01/27/2008, -10/+229There's even more good news. Even though Democrats are outnumbered 2 to 1 in South Carolina, MORE Democrats came out to vote in the primaries than Republicans did during their primary. If this trend continues to the General Election, even Diebold can't swing enough votes for the Republicans to win.
- Attilitus, on 01/27/2008, -9/+195Look out nation, Obama's on the march!
- HipsterSarah, on 01/27/2008, -4/+153FIRED UP...READY TO GO!!! Whatever about this "race" issues, Iowa, NH and NV already disproved that whole notion. America IS ready for Obama. TURN THE PAGE!!!!! Thank you SC for sifting through all the BS and choosing THE BEST candidate!
- archiesteel, on 01/27/2008, -5/+152CNN just projected that Hillary will come in 2nd...not good for John Edwards.
Edwards should consider dropping out of the race, endorsing Obama and try to convince the latter to pick him for VP candidate. - Shambla, on 01/27/2008, -5/+144This was a triumph.
- bewth, on 01/27/2008, -8/+127Looks like the South Carolinians mysteriously gained +25 intelligence between Jan19th and Jan26th.
- Tex, on 07/28/2008, -7/+124By a substantial margin -- current tallies show Obama with 70% of the vote.
- holygram, on 01/27/2008, -4/+103For once, I am proud to be from South Carolina.
- Tex, on 07/28/2008, -8/+95I doubt anyone seriously believes you went out of your way to mention his middle name by coincidence.
Your "Digg the Candidates" profile says you support Ron Paul. Barack Obama isn't listed there. - m00nb34m, on 01/27/2008, -2/+82Wins? Landslide.
- Schul983, on 01/27/2008, -6/+84i am a life long democrat and if Hillary Clinton gets the nomination I will not vote for her.
- whorse, on 01/27/2008, -3/+77GOBAMA!!!
- augenblick2007, on 01/27/2008, -5/+78Yeah baby. By 70% of the votes(according to early CNN). Rub this to the racist Clinton campaign who were trying to paint Obama as the 'black candidate' despite he had won in white Iowa same way. More I learn about Obama, him and his wifes background, i.e. coming from true mid class family, more I like them. And I am Canadian and this family of 4 can turn the page in history and put US back into civilized world as oppose to going backwards to aristocracy or dynasty (like 3rd world countries).
- NaziHatinChimp, on 01/27/2008, -3/+76I live in South Carolina and I voted for Obama today.
The fact of the matter is, I think a lot of people want him too win because it would help ease racial tension. A lot of people think South Carolina is a racist state. I don't think that there are a ton more racist here, it's just that they are more outspoken. They use the N word around strangers and don't care what people think. The rest of us are sick of it. We would be proud to have a black man as our president so to say ***** you to the racist blacks and whites here. - inactive, on 01/27/2008, -12/+82Obama (or Clinton and Edwards for that matter) would CRUSH ron paul in the general election.
Paul can't even beat Mike "I talked to god on my cellphone" Huckabee. What makes you think he has a chance against a sane candidate? - RaysinX, on 01/27/2008, -2/+71apparently he got around 80% of the black vote
that's big - NyteStarNyne, on 01/27/2008, -4/+70I sympathize for Barack Obama. He may have won tonight and he might even go on to get the nomination, but as the road to the Presidential Election goes on he is really being tainted in the media (If you know what I mean). It’s a shame when a great man and his goals are overshadowed by skin color.
- inactive, on 01/27/2008, -5/+64As a South Carolina resident, it makes me proud to see that my state had the common sense to make the right decision instead of the white decision. Maybe there's hope for us afterall.
- jynweythek, on 09/17/2008, -0/+58I think he Edwards was already aiming for that in the last debate. He kept saying things like "Senator Obama and I agree on this or that"
- AshamedAmerican, on 01/27/2008, -2/+57Very refreshing to hear a little bit of good news on this front every now and then. Especially in a case where it certainly seemed like the deck was stacked against Obama.
- sp89, on 01/27/2008, -4/+54I'm still scared for him on Super Tuesday
- PunkRampant, on 01/27/2008, -3/+52I'm making a note here:
HUGE SUCCESS - MindStalker, on 01/27/2008, -1/+48Checkout the exit polls, HAHA racism is dying quickly.
Obama votes by non-blacks of age
18-29 52%
30-44 25%
45-59 23%
60+ 15%
Just the old people are scared of Obama, and guess what Edwards NOT Clinton got the Majority of the white vote, the reason Edwards lost so badly is that only 3% of blacks voted for him while 20% of blacks voted for Clinton. - DCusaVietnamVet, on 01/27/2008, -7/+53GOBAMA 08
go away billary you two are sicko's - TheGreatBelow, on 01/27/2008, -10/+55America - Back in Black
- Dude622, on 01/27/2008, -0/+45Looks like he is gonna finish with just over 50% too. That is a pretty significant amount.
- edder282, on 01/27/2008, -36/+80Bros before hoes
- physco827, on 01/27/2008, -4/+48Obama better win this election. Someone commented 08ama, which is awesome. If he doesn't win this country will go to *****, he can really make a change.
- kopf1988, on 01/27/2008, -1/+43Go Barack Obama! We need Senator Unity more than ever.
- djreed, on 01/27/2008, -5/+47Obama is going to win the nomination, and the general election. The media cannot take Kennedy #2 down. He is a man of epic character. That is something greater than media tactics and Republican attack machines.
- AndrewDB, on 01/27/2008, -1/+43As of writing this comment, Obama has 54% to Clinton's 23%.
Woohoo! Go Obama!! - neogayjamesdean, on 01/27/2008, -0/+39He won big in Iowa. He won HUGE in South Carolina. Hillary barely beat him in New Hampshire. They should be talking about how much he wins by when he wins.
- augenblick2007, on 01/27/2008, -2/+41Caroline Kennedy endorses O8bama. And the man walks into the podium. Very proud moment for the sane world!
- cheese06, on 01/27/2008, -5/+42please, I pray for all Americans to stop the dynasties. Please stop the Bush to Clinton to Bush to Clinton potential. END THE DYNASTIES. LETS WAKE UP AMERICA!
- Tex, on 07/28/2008, -8/+43Why don't you refer to him as "Ron Ernest Paul" the same way you just trotted out "Barack Hussein Obama," Koicho?
- augenblick2007, on 01/27/2008, -1/+36Obama is winning Beafort (the most affluent county) by 90% according to CNN. Go Obama!
- adventchild08, on 01/27/2008, -0/+34Obama's skin color seems to be far less of an issue than Hillary's gender... Because he doesn't focus on it, he doesn't even try to sell it...
- ErosAmadeus, on 01/27/2008, -6/+39I support Ron Paul, and you're a shameless *****. Thanks for giving our candidate a bad name by using such slimy tactics, dickwad.
- bdette, on 01/27/2008, -8/+41***** you hillary!!!!
- zwaldowski, on 01/27/2008, -2/+34My grandmother, who has been a Republican her entire life, gave up voting in the Republican Primary to vote today. Granted, it was for John Edwards, but that is amazing. Independents are coming out in record numbers. This is awesome.
- hassanchop13, on 01/27/2008, -1/+33they got some sweet new mods on their armor.
- skews13, on 01/27/2008, -1/+3390% in. obama 2 to 1. Hillary on bus to Tennessee, concedes primary. bill talks ***** in Mississippi. see you in Florida.
- papashawn, on 01/27/2008, -15/+46Bros Before Hoes!
- IamJustinM, on 01/27/2008, -1/+30Big big night for Obama. He stood up to the Clinton's tag team attacks and ROUTED them.
- Tex, on 07/28/2008, -2/+30Edder doesn't have anyone listed in his "Digg the Candidates" profile, and the only six stories he's dugg since joining are about Eminem, Burger King, and iPods. Intellectual laziness and jumping to conclusions on your part, Minarchian?
- stukdog, on 01/27/2008, -1/+29I really home that America doesn't fall for the Clinton's games. I really like to think that majority of the people are smarter than that.
