Barack Obama almost skipped Labor Day Detroit visit

Not only does the pair need all the black registered voters they can possibly get but to ignore the population of an entire city due to the transgressions, trials, and tribulations of Kwame Kilpatrick would have been interpreted all kinds of ways.
