Barack Obama Screamed at Me
houstonpress.com — It's not quite eight in the morning and Barack Obama is on the phone screaming at me. He liked the story I wrote about him a couple weeks ago, but not this garbage. Months earlier, a reporter friend told me she overheard Obama call me an ***** at a political fund-raiser.

- madbadcat, on 02/28/2008, -0/+3Substitute Baltimore for Chicago,Clay Davis for Barack Obama, and you have an episode of the "The Wire".
- mpodlesny, on 02/28/2008, -0/+6LOL! When are people going to learn, no politician is "good". They will stab you in the back in a second to accomplish their own agenda.
- bmcelrath, on 03/03/2008, -0/+2But Obama promises "change".
- floorrunner, on 05/31/2008, -0/+0That is so funny.
- chicofaraby, on 02/28/2008, -4/+7Barack Obama stepped on my toe.
Barack Obama spit on my hamburger.
Barack Obama kicked my puppy.
Barack Obama didn't say "Bless you" when I sneezed.
Barack Obama double dipped a chip.
Barack Obama horked a beer at a party.
Barack Obama didn't applaud very hard after the national anthem.
That bastard. Just for that, I'll vote for the same party that slept in on 9-11, started two wars, took record setting bribes, wiretapped Americans illegally, ignored New Orleans while Americans died and exploded the deficit. That'll teach Barack Obama to kick a puppy.- RuffRidr, on 02/28/2008, -2/+3The article didn't have a partisan slant to it at all. The author is not suggesting you vote against Barack. You'd know that if you RTFA.
- madbadcat, on 02/29/2008, -0/+2i find it paralysising to realize that people are choosing their candidates cause they terrified to the point of being irrational- no one is saying that obama is the illegitimate son of the beelzebub- its just amazing to me how he gets a pass. from everyone. and my big concern this election is that the "youth" vote that seems to be driving this obama phenomenon won't show up to the polls (it happened to kerry and we ended up with another 4 years of crippling national debt to finance a war that we really shouldn't have been in. isn't wonderful that our military gets to come home(if they ever come home) to an economy that cannot provide for them?
- mpodlesny, on 02/28/2008, -1/+3" I'll vote for the same party that slept in on 9-11" who's that? Bill Clinton? When he had a chance to get him in the 90s after the USS Cole was bombed? he didn't do nothing? Or the same Bill Clinton that thought it was a good idea to send in our attack helicopters whose strengths are at night, in broad daylight costing 18 marines their lives? that person? They are all at fault...the Bush administration has been as bad as it gets, but no politician gets a free pass on the last 10 to 12 years.
- absurdist, on 02/29/2008, -1/+1B-B-B-But CLINTON!!!!!!!!
Who, of course, as we all know well, had the full support of the Republican Congress for all of the actions he took. I suggest you Google some of the reverences from the time and find out what the Repugs' attitude was toward supporting their commander-in-chief.- madbadcat, on 02/29/2008, -0/+1And when has a president made actual military tactical decisions? do you think bush really has planned troop movements in iraq?

- madbadcat, on 02/29/2008, -0/+1"Some call it pork; I call it steak."
This from the guy who was Obama's Mentor referring to the $300 Million Pet Projects that Obama requested for his mentor's district.
I'm just amazed that Obama has basically gotten a pass on all of the politics he has played to get where he has because he says "we can work together"
I will vote for whomever the democratic candidate turns out to be but I have yet to hear him say anything concrete about what he plans to do when he is office. - syen, on 05/30/2008, -0/+0Obama won the democratic primary in 1996 by getting lawyers to kick off his opponents, seems that he will be doing the same by disenfranchising FL and MI. Obama played the game in 1996 and is doing it again now.
The system is messed up and it is a question of the "system" versus the people. If the popular vote is for Hillary, then perhaps she should be the candidate.
Caucuses disenfranchise people with children, people who work and the elderly. We must take that into consideration and so must the superdelegates and Democratic party.
