- Hillsfar, on 09/04/2008, -27/+510The Republicans are all about attacks and smears and feces.
But Barack Obama just exudes class and good humour. Seriously! - Tabou, on 09/04/2008, -18/+431Palin tried to ridicule Obama's experience as a community organizer more than 20 years ago (when he was 24), when back then SHE actually was busy competing in beauty pageants. Pathetic!
http://blog.seattlepi.nwsource.com/thebigblog/arch ... - Buddhaismybuddy, on 09/04/2008, -14/+361Notice he doesn't need a script or a teleprompter.
- nyxxie, on 09/04/2008, -22/+325His response right there has opened my eyes...
Like many for the past week I've been sort of obsessed with Sarah Palin. I've been searching forums on more and more and more dirt about her. His simple response right there has made me realize that this is not about Palin. That THIS is what the Republicans do to wound us up, we're falling victim to it. Whether or not McCain's VP choice was smart, it has done what it was meant to do - Get the attention off of Obama. Though we can sit here and say that Palin is a heartbeat away from being President, she's truly not. This is about Obama and McCain. Let's focus on the issues. Let's get all our eyes back on Obama. - arTech, on 09/05/2008, -20/+225That's my future President. Military loves you. Class and Honor. Obama '08
- Muzikal203, on 09/04/2008, -37/+212This brotha is "too cool"! I love it!
- unfuccwittable, on 09/04/2008, -24/+180Barack Obama: Fire. He's on it.
- mishelly888, on 09/05/2008, -17/+161Presidential indeed.
- JeffersonMingus, on 09/05/2008, -19/+153Palin is a coward. She should remember that Jesus was a community organizer and Pontius Pilate was a governor. Suck on that Sarah!
- yeahifnsaidit, on 09/05/2008, -18/+144Obama exudes class.
- HuskyPuzzle, on 09/04/2008, -12/+132Such a stand up guy! I respect how he doesn't fall into the media's loaded questions when they're trying to initiate some pointless ***** talking.
- Mattwdj, on 09/05/2008, -4/+117Hes is 100% right that the republicans have not offered 1 single solution. Watching the RNC every speaker is just attacking Obama and not listing solutions to our problems. Their goal is to get people to think obama is such a danger and forget that they have no plan and nothing to offer.
- each3ric, on 09/05/2008, -10/+119This short snippet was exponentially more eloquent and diplomatic than Palin's big speech last night.
- mgill3, on 09/05/2008, -10/+116"I've been called worse on the basketball court." ... lol *brushed dirt off shoulder*
This guy is great. - BabushkaBlue, on 09/05/2008, -15/+116I desperately want this man to be our next president. I don't think I can handle four more years of the Republican *****.
- elwior, on 09/04/2008, -21/+117Sarah Palin gives me the creeps, as does McCain. He's right, they're soul mates
- jlee2081, on 09/04/2008, -14/+99No doubt, being called a H-O-R is much worse than anything Palin threw out last night.
- goodbick, on 09/05/2008, -7/+87Haha, wow I just love how he didn't even ACKNOWLEDGE her, he just completely brushed her off as the impotent pest that she is.
Classic. - eklife, on 09/05/2008, -10/+76I respect Barrack Obama.
- micahmn, on 09/04/2008, -3/+65Don't forget Sarah Palin was busy getting knocked up then eloping with Todd when she was 24.
- byronm, on 09/05/2008, -9/+67Just saw him in Lancaster PA.. a few thousand people showed up and cheered him on. It was great when he made this comment to the cheers of thousands of people! I love it that he's just able to speak - and be simple about everything. Kerry was a great speaker as well but would just go on and on and on and on and well, you lose people ;)
Go Obama! - Genecalypse, on 09/05/2008, -12/+70The GOPs failing hard
- zeusthemoose, on 09/05/2008, -9/+66Obama truly is an amazing man. If we want to turn this country around, its vital we elect this man. If the Dems lose, they will be forced to change to rovian tactics of lies and smears and we will march further towards a fascist police state.
- FreddieD, on 09/05/2008, -2/+54The words came out of her mouth, but those weren't her words. *****, even I could go up there and read off of teleprompters at 45 degree angles and sound like I know what I'm doing. Obama, McCain and Biden have had extensive experience handling the media at the national level where they have to think on their feet. I can't wait for Palin to do the same.
You do realize that there is a REASON why you don't see her doing interviews right now.... - each3ric, on 09/05/2008, -12/+62But Palin sold a plane on eBay! C'mon!
[/jokingincaseyouhavenosarcasmmeteratall] - thecretinisback, on 09/05/2008, -6/+56Class act. I'm so sick of all this bickering.
Haha, remember how originally it was John McCain who was supposed to be rising above the trash talking? - dissolutionman, on 09/05/2008, -9/+58We need a level head like his in the White House.
- Sardonic2U, on 09/05/2008, -6/+47talking smack is what you do when there is nothing in your corner...... "Methinks the lady doth protest too much,"
DNC 1
RNC 0 - inactive, on 09/05/2008, -5/+46Get that Dirt off your shoulder.
- kurough, on 09/05/2008, -3/+43I wouldn't trust John McCain as a Wal-Mart greeter.
- BJF9999, on 09/05/2008, -2/+41I can't wait until the debates...
It should be interesting to see McCain fumbling around doing his nervous laugh while he waits for a few claps from the audience - Thuktun, on 09/05/2008, -4/+42The topic is about Obama responding to the attacks on him in speeches at the RNC.
They flung dung and avoided the issues. He responded with class, respect, and a little humor, and discussed actual issues. - richbleak, on 09/05/2008, -3/+39Stop making sense, it offends the Republicans.
- richbleak, on 09/05/2008, -4/+37Excuse me, but your comparison blows. Hillsfar is talking about actual Republican politicians. You are talking about internet douchebags. This is a common Republican tactic to try to make Democratic politicians seem as crazy as Republicans. Name a Democratic politician who has attacked Palin in the manner you describe.
- TheMachine1, on 09/05/2008, -4/+36The fact she has 5 kids and a teen that is pregnant got me thinking she may has higher impulsivity. I have high impulsivity and its not a trait I would consider useful for a leader. If my theory is right she should be prone to verbal gaffs.
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -18/+49What do you expect from a bunch of thugs?
That's all the Repugs have, ***** slinging slogans from the Bible.
They just love to glorify humanities limitations
while as democrats, and Obama, wish to glorify mankind's potential. - GregFD3S, on 09/05/2008, -4/+34I ***** love this guy.
- nachomonkey, on 09/05/2008, -7/+36Well said man. Well said.
- kagebutsu, on 09/05/2008, -0/+26Judging by the low amount of diggs I'm guessing most of these people have never played basketball before.
- SitPoMk, on 09/05/2008, -0/+26To be brutally honest, what did you expect from Digg?
- malex, on 09/05/2008, -3/+28Yeah, of course they do, and there's nothing wrong with that. But the recent Republican talking point is that Obama is somehow a stumbling imbecile without pre-prepaired statements to fall back on.
As this clip shows, that is not the case. - ldailey06, on 09/05/2008, -0/+25The guy graduated first in his class at harvard law...I think he can handle himself.
- Shiloah, on 09/05/2008, -4/+26Regarding Joe Biden, Barack Obama said "he can help me GOVERN". Did you catch it? "GOVERN", not LEAD. Once again Barack shows his keen understanding of the constitution of a free people. In contrast to neo-con mentality, Americans are GOVERNED under a president, not LED by "der Fuhrer". This man doesn't miss a beat. Right on!
- Thuktun, on 09/05/2008, -1/+23As well as actually discussing ISSUES and avoiding smarmy insults.
- Wang, on 09/05/2008, -3/+25This is called "rising above" - bravo to Obama!
- OldGhosts, on 09/05/2008, -4/+25Barack Obama and Joe Biden just look so freakin presidential. Old man McCain and Palin standing side by side is a joke within itself.
- cadmiumpaint, on 09/05/2008, -2/+23Obama can take on Bill Oreilly and hold his own.
McCain doesn't even have the courage to go on Larry King.
Obama has courage. McCain is a wimp. - tayf, on 09/05/2008, -0/+21dugg NBA jam reference!
- ferrariman60, on 09/05/2008, -2/+22Yeah, I think the VP debates are gonna be ugly. Biden is probably gonna shred her. I can't wait.
- SimmaDownNow, on 09/05/2008, -1/+21I cannot say enough how proud this man makes me feel to call myself an American.
