How do we form this Militia? how? How do we fight trained solders? not to mention the men and women of the Army is part of us. They have the best weapons, what do we have? We are lucky if we have a gun. I just turned 59 today and I have young children, how much real fighting can I do? I'm sure there must be some kind of strategy we can use. The Army is really only pawns, they are not the real enemy here. True we may clash with them but we need to get to the real beast, the real enemy and we need to expose the real truth to those who are still ignorant of the catastrophe which is unfolding. We need the Army on our side from the beginning on this. They also have pledged to uphold the Constitution. Our leaders are traitors. That is the key as I see it. The whole world knows your government is made up of criminals, and is fed up with all the *****, but unless you people can take back your Country there is nothing any other Country can do. As soon as anyone steps out of line they are threatened with sanctions, or are labeled as "with the terrorists". If you took back your Country, I am sure you would have the support of the rest of the world's population. - maxtangent, on 10/10/2008, -1/+5I agree with yellowcakewalk except that if enough people fight over enough territory, there simply isn't enough manpower to deal with them all.
Think of one or more riots starting in one city only to disperse when the repression arrives and the riot starts up somewhere else in the same city. Then another city erupts in riots only to subsequently disperse and restart.
If the pattern continues long enough, the authoritarian forces can be exhausted over a period of one or two weeks while the citizens rest in shifts.
Combine this with everyone 'forgetting' to file their income tax returns in the spring.

While the "strike and awe" mantra sounds great, it's never been proven to be effective. It always boils down to who has the most troops and whose troops are the most dedicated. There are numerous historical confrontations to back my claim.
10,000,000 men armed as I am could make quite a dent in whatever FEMA wants to do. If they decide to use the military, it will only bolster the support of We the People and swell the ranks to 12,000,000 or greater. Their greatest weapon is fear. If we fear them, they win.
