- lesmalan, on 05/13/2008, -0/+4Any link to the bill itself? All this article says is that the bill will allow a student to "pontificate" to another student if he/she disagrees. What does that mean in this context? Students will be allowed to "express one's opinion in a way considered annoyingly pompous"? This article really doesn't explain what this bill actually changes with regards to the presence of religion in schools. I understand that saying "America is a Christian nation" is pretty dumb, but that doesn't explain the resistance to the legislation.
