- Matericia, on 09/15/2008, -34/+223 The Republicans squandered the public trust and must be taken to task.Good luck with the ad. It's very effective.
- PancakeCity, on 09/15/2008, -21/+151This is one of the best ads I've seen this season.
- oo7evan, on 09/15/2008, -20/+114Very effective at pointing out simple FACTS. If you are a member of the MSM, and you don't know what that word means, please go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fact.

Vote for Obama / Biden 2008
- phlfreedom, on 09/15/2008, -24/+100The whistle on the "straight talk express" is getting pretty faint lately. REPUBLICANS FOR BARACK OBAMA!
- BarbarianCoug, on 09/15/2008, -7/+73Sorry John McCain, it wasn't just the hugging of George W. Bush, it was the grinding.
- forthewin11, on 09/15/2008, -27/+89Awesome ad!
Truth and hope have done some awesome things. They also have another affective ad that will be cycling with this one. - argo2d, on 09/15/2008, -19/+76he voted with bush 100% of the time in 2008 --- at least on the occasions he bothered to show up to vote at all.
http://thinkprogress.org/2008/08/15/mccain-energy- ... - supertaliman, on 09/15/2008, -16/+66Very powerful ad and it is edited perfectly. I believe this can go far, the message has to be spread.
- BadAsh71, on 09/15/2008, -6/+49I saw an ad for McCain on TV the other day that just made me laugh. The ad stated that a vote for Obama was a vote for "more of the same" while a vote for McCain was a vote for "change". So I guess the McCain camp has decided to go the reverse psychology route :)
- inactive, on 09/15/2008, -1/+39"I'm voting for McCain because he seems to be a really likable guy. Sure, he's a bit senile, but who cares? My grandpa is senile, and he's still once of the nicest people you'd ever meet.
And Palin's your classic tough hockey mom, so she's got my vote. Some people might ask, is she qualified to run the country? I ask, why the hell do you care? Folks like me vote for people based on their personality. 'Qualifications,' now there's a word you'll hear those damn latte-sippin' left-wing elitists spewing all over their speeches. Proper small town folk like myself don't even know what that word means, and we're proud of it! Hell, I'm even ashamed of being able to pronounce it right."
- Approximately Half of the USA - elscorcho8806, on 09/15/2008, -16/+49One of the most truthful, to the point ads I've seen. This needs to be on the air.
- Katana314, on 09/15/2008, -1/+34Don't digg him down; I condone the guy for looking out for the full facts. We need to always be available to do this: Don't trust anyone blindly, unless you know everything they say about him is true.
- chrissku, on 09/15/2008, -6/+38John McCain would rather lose his honor than lose the election.
- Wryly, on 09/15/2008, -9/+40McCain is for lobbyists and the super-rich. Barack is for US. This race shouldn't even be close.
- bluefieldgreens, on 09/15/2008, -17/+48A LIAR NEVER RUNS OUT OF LIES... JMac and his "friends" (which include Bush for those of you not paying attention) are going to keep lying. I feel sorry for us if we allow him win -- as he will continue to lie to us.
Obama/Biden to the rescue! - johnfrisco1313, on 09/15/2008, -11/+38McCain/Palin 08
"The Bridge to Nowhere" - aliengoods, on 09/15/2008, -7/+32Yeah, but digg this up. That commercial was genius.
- ANewTime, on 09/15/2008, -14/+39It says it all. We can't afford 4 more years of the same.
- DanBoodro, on 09/15/2008, -8/+31Okay, I completely support Obama, but no matter what I do, I cant seem to find ANY dirt on him. I search McCain in YouTube and find tons of nasty *****. I search Obama in YouTube and find everything great about the guy. He is a great candidate and would be an amazing president, but come on, there has to be some dirt, right?
- springboks, on 09/15/2008, -9/+32...but nitwits will still vote McCain!. Some have even been so bold to put lawn signs that say McCain '08.
Bush/McCain supporters are quite proud of the fact that they're ignorant. - nick1971, on 09/15/2008, -3/+25DavidBGie
I want you to know that being a fan of bush is now classified as a psychiatric illness. With medication and therapy you can recover and return to society. - jdenzer, on 09/15/2008, -6/+25Just like a republican, never taking blame. Trying to blame the Dems for the the past eight years. Despite the fact that the Dems have held control of congress for less than two years. And it is not like they have 60/40 control over the senate.
- inactive, on 09/15/2008, -4/+22Not reverse psychology as much as lie your ass off.
- Twitchzor, on 09/15/2008, -0/+16It's made by a single person and it's not airing on TV, which is a shame really.
- Katana314, on 09/15/2008, -1/+16http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fact
Fixed - numb401, on 09/15/2008, -2/+17Yea the dems hold an almost insignificant majority in congress, its just been at a deadlock lately. It doesn't make any sense to blame them.
- jdenzer, on 09/15/2008, -5/+20A lot can happen between now and Nov. 4. Just a few weeks ago Obama was the one projected to win by over 40 Electoral votes. Don't be so naive.
- Elranzer, on 09/15/2008, -1/+14Puffles, it's posts like that which make me whis the multiple-digg clicking bug was still active. 1000 more diggs.
- keepitreal50, on 09/15/2008, -12/+25McCain will finish off this country. Vote Obama for change.
- JaneAnneJ, on 09/15/2008, -4/+17Very effective and very scary!
- Failchan, on 09/15/2008, -10/+22Won't be long before the McCain Patrol tags this as inaccurate...
- rowjimmy, on 09/15/2008, -0/+11i wish i had a latte right now :(
- Rantus, on 06/11/2009, -0/+11Drain the economy? Like 4 TRILLION in new deficit spending and bailing out the criminals on Wall Street? McBush 2008 huh? Keep stuffing money in the pockets of the ultra rich so your kids can pay for it while they can't even afford a college education you moron.
- evillawngnome, on 09/15/2008, -4/+15way to miss the point entirely. The last sentence sums it up the best:
Do you support bush now more than you did 4 years ago? - nowhereelse, on 09/15/2008, -9/+18Looking across the Atlantic, I am stupefied that this thing is even close. It's not even McCain = Bush. It's McCain = Bush = Cheney = Rumsfeld = Wolfowitz = Perle = Kissinger, etc. The rest of the world is relying on you guys to put a stop to the United States' continuous state of war. Hell, they're even using your hard-earned tax dollars to do it.
- oldhick, on 09/15/2008, -23/+32What about congressional Dems? What have they done for you during the last two years?
- Approved extensions to the Patriot Act
- Approved the socialization/unconstitutional take over of the banking industry
- Nothing on energy
- Nothing on Iraq but continued funding
And the list goes on but I'm already bored. They ALL need to be taken to task. - MindStalker, on 09/15/2008, -2/+11No he didn't vote with Bush 100% of the time (though "voted with Bush" is a difficult statement to prove, unless it simply means voted with GOP party)
I ran the numbers as provided by
http://projects.washingtonpost.com/congress/member ...
Obama voted 72 times in 2008
14 of which where nearly unanimous votes (GOP and DNC agreed)
68 times he voted with DNC (minus the unanimous thats 54)
17 times he votes with the GOP (minus the unanimous thats 3)
1 time he votes against both
So if you subtract the unanimous from the parties and the totals
54/58
93% voting with DNC only
5% voting witht the GOP only
For McCain
McCain voted 36 times in 2008
8 of which where nearly unanimous votes (GOP and DNC agreed)
10 times he voted with DNC (minus the unanimous thats 2)
33 times he votes with the GOP (minus the unanimous thats 25)
1 time he votes against both (Which was the exact same vote as Obama
Vote 75: On the Motion: Motion to Waive C.B.A. DeMint Amdt No. 4347; To establish an earmark moratorium for fiscal year 2009.
So if you subtract the unanimous from the parties and the totals
2/28 DNC 7%
25/28 GOP 89%
So McCain votes slightly less with his party, but not much, maybe I'll run the 2006 numbers (he's missing from 2007 for campaigning a lot as well) someday. - psy333che, on 09/15/2008, -10/+19
Lies and a bunch of BS as usual ranting without any knowledge about what you are ranting about
I am really getting sick of doing research for people like you who speak and do not research or read
You can look at the votes..I do weekly and also write to whomever is dealing with an issue that concerns me
You r statement is totally incorrect and again your pulling it out of your Ignorance for the issues - treehugger87, on 09/15/2008, -1/+10craigly. How can he vote with Bush 95% of the time in 2007 but vote against Bush more than "any other Republican?" Talk about spin. You don't always have to do what your radio tells you.
- paintgrl, on 09/15/2008, -0/+9Again, neither the Senate or the house has a true majority. They are 7 short in the senate and 63 short in congress. So it is even with neither party holding a true voting majority. Also neither party is working with the other. So lets place the blame where it belongs. On all of them.
- Rantus, on 06/11/2009, -4/+13And how many kids have you adopted you hypocrite? Sure, you're all high and mighty about calling poor girls with no future "murderers" but how are you helping to make anything really better? You guys are a joke. The religious right = Monumental hypocrites.
- inactive, on 09/15/2008, -5/+13You're absolutely right. I don't want to hear it. I've been digging up every single anti-McCain thing that shows up. I voted for Reagan. I voted for George Sr. I haven't voted Republican since. The party has lost its way. It's all about fear and control now and I will do everything in my power to see to it that they no longer have the opportunity to ***** us all over... you included. I'm doing this for you. Now I'm going to bury you.
- fluxion, on 09/15/2008, -7/+15the "dirt" they found on Obama didnt need youtube, it was all over MSM and running in McCain's ads
but yes, there's plenty of Obama smear on youtube. - MScrip, on 09/15/2008, -1/+9Whether the candidates support abortion or not... whether it's legal or not... women will always be able to get an abortion.
So, why base your vote on that? Women can get abortions regardless of which person is in the White House.
If a woman gets an abortion, it affects her. I'd rather the president help all Americans by fixing our economy and energy policies, and not starting wars.
I'm a 31 year old, single man. Abortion rights are nowhere near the top of my list. Why are they on yours? - wonderworm, on 09/15/2008, -0/+8***** well said!
- explnx, on 04/27/2009, -0/+8The rest of the world will stop worrying about the U.S. when it stops attacking them.
- Renostyle, on 09/15/2008, -0/+8UPDATE:
Cartwrightdale's TV AD Final version on air in OH & MI
"I want to share the final version of the now famous 'The Public v John McCain' ad, we're now calling 'Judgment.' The original has over 270,000 YouTube views & hopefully you'll think this one is even tighter. The changes are to the first line, focusing the ad on McCain's judgment in supporting Bush, instead of Bush's rating which is well known already. The clips of Chris Matthews, etc. have been swapped for more of McCain/Bush, and the polling numbers are highlighted to a greater degree."
