- gronne, on 10/12/2007, -11/+118Maybe she wouldn't have to be so guarded if she didn't call people who don't agree with her fringe political outlook "souless traitors" so much.
- PJOnori, on 10/12/2007, -12/+102"I Don't think too many people in prison are Republican..."
James Tobin, David Safavian, Duke Cunningham, Jack Abramoff (Republican lobbyist), Bob Ney (will be soon), Tom DeLay (everyone knows he should have been), Scooter Libby (will be soon).
Need I continue? - whiskeymb, on 10/12/2007, -10/+84oh god, wouldn't that be great! we could spend some serious time without hearing her retarded arguments and lies!!!
Oh, how I wish, how I wish the bitch would go to jail. - rationalist, on 10/12/2007, -6/+73You understand it wrong. The issue is not publicizing her address, the issue is her voting out of her district - the one she has a legal residence in.
The election committee tried for nine months to resolve this amicably with her, but she has refused to cooperate, so they are forced to turn the case over to the district attorney. This is unfortunate for Coulter, as she will face federal charges and possible prison time if found guilty. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -11/+75Stephen Colbert does comedy that absurdly satirizes the conservative right. Ann Coulter is a serious political writer who is a member of the conservative right. The following quotes were said either by Colbert or Coulter. See if you can figure out which is supposed to be comedy, and which is the true opinion of a fringe wing nut:
1. “Even Islamic terrorists don’t hate America like liberals do. They don’t have the energy. If they had that much energy, they’d have indoor plumbing by now.”
2. “There’s nothing wrong with being gay. I have plenty of friends who are going to hell.”
3. “I just think Rosa Parks was overrated. Last time I checked, she got famous for breaking the law.”
4. “Being nice to people is, in fact, one of the incidental tenets of Christianity, as opposed to other religions whose tenets are more along the lines of ‘Kill everyone who doesn’t smell bad and answer to the name Muhammad.’ ”
5. “I believe that everyone has the right to their own religion, be you Hindu, Muslim, or Jewish. I believe there are infinite paths to accepting Jesus Christ as your personal savior.”
6. “[North Korea] is a major threat. I just think it would be fun to nuke them and have it be a warning to the rest of the world.”
7. “Isn’t an agnostic just an atheist without balls?” - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -9/+65Most dudes do
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -6/+55...won't cooperate with authorities, eh?
Treasonous traitor! - NinjAlt, on 10/12/2007, -10/+55unfortunate for Coulter, but great for the American people when she gets LOCKED UP.
- EntropyMan, on 10/12/2007, -7/+48I think she's hoping for another GOP win and then a quiet slide by.
- patience, on 10/12/2007, -8/+48Blonds have more fun.........in prison.
Ann: I hope you like girls. - jaycliche, on 10/12/2007, -11/+47Ann is obviously a drug addict. Just watch her and imagine that she isn't on some form of speed.
- vertinox, on 10/12/2007, -9/+44@"Love Ann. Don't agree with her all the time, but she can be very funny. Not surprised the wacko-Digg-lefties don't like her."
You are aware that Ann isn't a comedian, right?
Unless maybe its Andy Kaufman in drag. - EntropyMan, on 10/12/2007, -7/+38So she'll stonewall, just like BushCo, and then claim she's being persecuted. Do they all use the same tired playbook?
Next up: Palm Beach must want the terrorists to win. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -8/+37Ann Coulter has centipedes in her vagina.
- hobgobbler, on 10/12/2007, -6/+31This leads to the obvious question: are the mentally ill allowed to vote?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -8/+30Don't kid yourselves, she's going to a men's prison.
- Popdmb, on 10/12/2007, -7/+28Her prison sentence would end just in time for the release of her newest bestseller: How to Avoid a Fellow Inmate (If You Must).
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -10/+30I'd be careful, you might get frostbite.
- mikeyj10, on 10/12/2007, -5/+22because she like all her ilk, Rich kids raised in Manhattan prep schools believe that they are above the law.
- jaycliche, on 10/12/2007, -10/+26"She" is a He.
- thegreenman66, on 10/12/2007, -6/+22She used her real eastate agents address, and signed the voter registration card. She is guilty. She knowingly registered in the wrong district to avoid having her address known by the public.
- scottc, on 10/12/2007, -5/+20Because she is still playing the system. This gets her more publicity and her and her lawyer have already figured out when to call it quits without going to prison. That's my guess.
- lolwtfhaha, on 10/12/2007, -7/+20unfortunate for Coulter, but horrible for the American people with whom she gets LOCKED UP.
- mikemac, on 10/12/2007, -11/+26She probably doesn't have anything to worry about... her vagina is three feet wide and lined with razor-sharp teeth.
- cthulhu, on 10/12/2007, -3/+18Any time someone calls themselves a "Libertarian," it should be in quotes.
/and yes, they should make quote signs with their fingers. - ZenMojo, on 10/12/2007, -5/+17He said "IMMIGRANTS" can't vote, not "ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS." Funny how the conservative spin doctors got to you so easily.
- brishchik, on 10/12/2007, -7/+20Guilty!
GWB won't talk about being druggie as well.
Guess what, guilty! - bontaq, on 10/12/2007, -5/+18More god-sent work of those zany jesus loving felons, The Republicans!
- ZenMojo, on 10/12/2007, -5/+18No it hasn't. She's practically a newscaster as often as she's on that network.
(Actually, several of the Fox newscasters seem to be missing for some reason...I started watching again and it was all new faces!)
Isn't it weird that all of these Republicans are getting nailed rapid fire? Isn't it even more weird that they're being nailed by Republicans and prostitutes (not that kind of nailed).
I wonder if Karl Rove's October Surprise was political hari kiri. - Mandeep, on 10/12/2007, -5/+17I wouldn't be surprised if she got locked up and we saw a pardon by Dubya. Nor would I be surprised if this issue dies down.
- monkeyrun, on 10/12/2007, -8/+20She could always claim insanity, which she most likely is.
or she's alcoholic,
or being abused as a child, which might explain her enormous Adam's Apple... - perseon, on 10/12/2007, -6/+18Implying that Ann Coulter is mentally ill is an insult to the mentally ill. She's just a bitch.
- CanceledCzech, on 10/12/2007, -6/+16What a bitch. I hope she gets those 5 years in prison.
- Technopundit, on 10/12/2007, -6/+14If Ann Coulter got probed once in a while, maybe she wouldn't be such a bitch.
- AmishRefugee, on 10/12/2007, -9/+16and i thought she already embodied the frigid-ice-queen-bitch enough. She must be trying to get her face in the encyclopedia under that term
- mushoo, on 10/12/2007, -7/+14Oh you mean like this wacko?
http://www.crooksandliars.com/2006/11/02/stephanies-ugly-sock/
Or this crazy "loon."
Students Against War controversy, where Michelle Maglalang published the private information for three members of this group and proceeded to lie when they asked her to take it down.

Or this crazy Adam's Apple toting tranny back in December 2005. When she published Lydia Cornell's private home number and email after she wrote "Death is Sexier than Sex...to Ann Coulter."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lydia_Cornell (3rd paragraph)
http://cannonfire.blogspot.com/2005/11/glimpse-of-hidden-ann-coulter.html - jaycliche, on 10/12/2007, -8/+14You must be from a place where they don't have women.
- CharlieInCO, on 10/12/2007, -4/+10Hmmm. This would be Palm Beach, where the voters are too stupid to manage a "butterfly ballot" and punch-card voting that they'd been using for 30 years, and blame the Republicans for printing it ... in a Democrat-controlled county. And where the investigation is in the paper before it gets to the lawyers.
Something's fishy here.
She's an attorney herself, with law review and a pretty good clerkship.
I wouldn't get too exciting about this, guys; bet on the charges being dropped. After the election. - vaduzl, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9In Georgia , they denied the vote to many elderly people . with the ID rule . i was thinking the other day if you are 80 year old african american lady. you were born in 1926, Jim Crow laws fully in place there. you would be 38 when Civil Right Law passed in 1964 , thankfully ended those. Now over 40 years later , you once again cant vote , as you dont have the accepted ID to get to vote . So good people who experienced the worse , get victimized again. Ann im sure will get off
- monkeyrun, on 10/12/2007, -8/+14Are you unhappy about the short-lived Kerry circle jerk?
- Tiak, on 10/12/2007, -6/+11You sir, have now given me life-long trauma.
- Ennoch, on 10/12/2007, -5/+10So, one comment on Digg shows that the left wing are obnoxious asshats?
- Arramol, on 10/12/2007, -5/+10How exactly is hating everyone and their dog Christian? The two greatest commands are to love God and to love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus also says to love your enemies (including "liberals") and pray for those who persecute you. He also made a habit of eating with and reaching out to sinners, saying, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick." Rather hard to reconcile her hatred of homosexuals with, "Let he who is without sin throw the first stone," don't you think?
- ISurfTooMuch, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8And isn't it sad and ironic that it's mostly the Republicans who are rolling back those advances?
- drmobutu, on 10/12/2007, -6/+9What makes this story newsworthy is that she may have voted in more than one precinct. If that is the case, it IS a big deal.
- chrisbachmann, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Source: http://www.azstarnet.com/news/132689
- thegreenman66, on 10/12/2007, -6/+9which side of the prison will (s)he be housed (hosed) in?
- silentex, on 10/12/2007, -7/+10"I Don't think too many people in prison are Republican..."
Ted Bundy worked for and campaigned with the Republican Party in Washington state. Not to mention, he had also been asked to run for office. That alone covers Republicans. - ISurfTooMuch, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5Zombie attacks may not be that rare, but what is rare is for the zombies to attack one of their own. Therefore, Ann is quite safe.
- Cl1mh4224rd, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6"Resolve it amicably? The whole purpose of the exercise is to pound on her publically."
There wasn't a peep from the media about this for nine months. How exactly is that "pounding on her publically"? -
