http://urltea.com/1rl2- zaibatsu, on 10/16/2007, -27/+19Wow is this for real, this is a huge story.
- mrASSMAN, on 10/17/2007, -1/+28..she was hacked according to the digg headline.
- jmpeagle, on 10/16/2007, -5/+7that's what he is asking. Was she hacked or is this photoshopped?
- mrASSMAN, on 10/17/2007, -1/+28..she was hacked according to the digg headline.
- wispygalaxy, on 10/28/2007, -42/+4I right-clicked and hit "save image"... Thanks!
- nullx42, on 10/28/2007, -5/+49I left-clicked and hit the "thumbs-down" on your comment... Thanks!
- amadeusdemarzi, on 10/17/2007, -1/+28annd, it seems he temporarily had a message for us Diggers here:
http://www.amadeusdesigns.com/secondMessage.png - artofwar420, on 10/17/2007, -0/+1Damn, holy *****, this is like when I found out that Santa Claus was... I think I'll leave it there for our young diggers.
- zaibatsu, on 10/16/2007, -27/+19Wow is this for real, this is a huge story.
- Tomboys, on 10/17/2007, -75/+150I always thought she was faking. No one could possibly say so many stupid things and mean them. That's why I've just bee laughing at her as though she's a comedian. But I don't think this is real. It's gotta be a joke. She makes too much money with her idiotic statements to give that up.
- zman14321, on 10/17/2007, -7/+177Certainly Ann Coulter "HACKED!!!!!!" would leave me to believe it must be legit.
- bluezinc, on 10/17/2007, -11/+3Hacked meaning someone hacked her site and wrote the letter, not that they hacked it and found this letter about to be released. So, no, it's not legit. If it were real I'd be emailing this thing to every conservative I know. Especialy the Coulter fanatic I know, she'd ***** a brick.
- Daz3, on 10/17/2007, -0/+8Fail. Some people just don't understand sarcasm.
- toxicshok, on 10/17/2007, -0/+8Maybe she was ghost-hacked into writing that. Lets keep the options open here.

- MotoFly, on 10/17/2007, -7/+40Did you even read the title? Seriously if you've even even heard of Ann Coulter prior to this you should immediately know this is fake.
- kmb1794, on 10/16/2007, -6/+1Are her boobs real?
- rchargel, on 10/16/2007, -3/+4May you die a thousand deaths and never speak again.
- kmb1794, on 10/16/2007, -6/+1Are her boobs real?
- KennMac, on 10/16/2007, -6/+22I can't understand why you're being dugg up. You have to be a flaming idiot to not see what happened here. The freaking URL you clicked on answers your question.
- thebrawl, on 10/16/2007, -5/+6He didn't ask a question. You'd have to be a "flaming idiot" to not see the lack of question marks. He's getting "dugg up" because people like me agree - Ann Coulter is a fake. She's obviously in it for the money, as no one with enough brains to form sentences could believe the things she says. This article appears to be a joke reflecting that same observation.
- KennMac, on 10/16/2007, -1/+2I wouldn't put it past anyone on digg to not form a question with a question mark. Settle down chief. And everything you just explained is all common knowledge. Thanks for reiterating.

- VitriolAndAngst, on 10/16/2007, -1/+12If only she could write as eloquently as the hacker.
I'm pretty convinced she is always "just kidding" in the back of her mind. I'm sure she's afraid of being found out one day. My guess is this hacker struck really close to home -- I'm betting there was a major bitch fest after this one.
It was absolutely beautiful. I hope this hacker strikes again. Good work.

- onisamsha, on 10/28/2007, -16/+67I haven't seen much news of this.....photoshop?
If it is true, i applaud the person who did it for keeping the satire on the points of her opinions. I was really really really expecting the lie she'd been living to be "I'M A MAN." While, yes, it's hilarious, i take much more joy in seeing the sick ideas she bases her opinions on exposed for the short-sighted misconceptions they are.- silascl, on 10/16/2007, -13/+38I can tell by the pixels, I have seen a few shops in my time.
- ErrorS, on 10/16/2007, -37/+13Hey idiot, you realize that those 'pixels' are also a byproduct of compression, RIGHT?
I'm sick of you people saying this in every ***** thread.. what's that even suppose to mean? "omfg it has pixels!", the entire ***** image is made up of pixels for God's sake. A few blocks doesn't mean photoshop, hell, when I edit a picture I would have to take extra time out to add in a couple of blocky edges at the edited portions.. it doesn't just automatically ***** happen to a certain part of an image.
Bottom line, PIXELATION = COMPRESSION.- Disfnord, on 10/16/2007, -0/+33It's an old internet joke, take it easy.
- Phyltre, on 10/16/2007, -11/+2Sheesh, "old" in this case is only a few months!
- xister, on 10/16/2007, -0/+12@Phyltre: Obviously you've never heard of "Anonymous".
- Akaji, on 10/17/2007, -1/+6@Phyltre
Only if your months are my years. - zweben, on 10/16/2007, -0/+10You're not supposed to tell him that.
You're supposed to let his blood pressure go up a little more first.
- owlfeathers, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1Woah, there, cowboy. It's a joke from ye olde 4chan. Chill.
- ErrorS, on 10/18/2007, -0/+1uh, oops?
please don't tell me every time I read this it's a joke.. because it's one of those things that have been bothering me for a while, I finally tookt he time to log into dig to bash this ***** moron and I find out the entire time it's a joke?
4Chan owes me a few years that I've certainly lost off my life getting pissed about these comments..
- ErrorS, on 10/18/2007, -0/+1uh, oops?
- Disfnord, on 10/16/2007, -0/+33It's an old internet joke, take it easy.
- Jlaugh, on 10/16/2007, -14/+10It's a jpeg of course it has pixilation. It's a lossy format.
- EmoSLWarrior, on 10/16/2007, -5/+9Why am I reminded of that silly movie I saw in grade school: Jurassic Park, where the young girl says, "This is UNIX! I know this"! It was lame then, and it's lame now. Please stop. Health and happiness!
- gameforge, on 10/16/2007, -0/+13Weird. Jurassic Park is the only movie I've ever seen in which completely plausible if not authentic computer themes played an important role. With movies like Hackers or The Net or dozens of others which featured extra flamboyant, needlessly beeping fictitious software which always did impossible things, I thought it was cool to see a movie get it right for a change.
The 3D explorer she was using (called "fsn"), as well as the 3D weather software they used to watch the storm and other programs seen in JP are all 100% authentic programs which run on IRIX (SGI's flavor of UNIX). Those machines were all real running SGI computers. Honestly... if you walk up to a screen with 3D cubes on it that are all labeled with UNIX file/folder paths, what else do you say?- alecks, on 10/16/2007, -0/+2What are you saying, that the 3D, city-like explorer in Hackers wasn't real?
Offtopic but somewhat related, the videogame that Dade beats Kate at was a prototype of the first version of Wipeout.
Wikid!
- alecks, on 10/16/2007, -0/+2What are you saying, that the 3D, city-like explorer in Hackers wasn't real?
- mmazing, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1You should watch Takedown :)

- k3ano, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1Nope, it was a hack, it's been taken off the site now though.
- ErrorS, on 10/16/2007, -37/+13Hey idiot, you realize that those 'pixels' are also a byproduct of compression, RIGHT?
- Gothvanhelsing, on 10/16/2007, -53/+1If her site was compromised I think the people who did it are scumbags. I used to run a server and the blow I was dealt from these freaks was devastating. Web Vandals are nothing but people with no life and use the time normal people use for dating to damage the lives of others.
- moskaudancer, on 10/16/2007, -2/+34You do realize this is Ann Coulter we're talking about, right, and not an actual "person" with a "life"?
- Jlaugh, on 10/16/2007, -2/+14Scum bags like her get what they get.
- Ajajadude, on 10/16/2007, -2/+23Are you crying a river for Ann Coulter? If so, could you please walk in front of the nearest moving bus?
- EmoSLWarrior, on 10/16/2007, -0/+10If you have any sympathy for Ms. Coulter (is that really Ghoulter?) then you are in need of serious psychological counseling. Nobody like this woman. She is simply an over the top villain who plays for pay. Do not waste your feelings on her.

- popfrogs, on 10/16/2007, -0/+11Well at least you learned to protect IIS, for what that's worth.
- mmazing, on 10/16/2007, -0/+3Applause!
- owlfeathers, on 10/17/2007, -1/+1I'm sorry. I only did it for the LULZ :(

- foooey, on 10/16/2007, -3/+12Is it that hard to look at the URL in the image, and type it into your browser?
If you were only so slightly capable, you could have gone on to find out if it's real or not all on your lonesome.- alanic, on 10/16/2007, -1/+5lol yeah go to the freakin website and lough your pants off god dammit! :D
- HollowMarkeD, on 10/16/2007, -0/+8Surprisingly she's taken it off her homepage now, since it was a HACK
- silascl, on 10/16/2007, -13/+38I can tell by the pixels, I have seen a few shops in my time.
- HunterTV, on 10/17/2007, -7/+137I hope whoever did that covered their tracks.
Hell hath no fury like Mann Coulter.- Godlike, on 10/22/2007, -0/+90My favorite so far is "Coultergheist"
- bagelpirate, on 10/22/2007, -2/+99I prefer "*****."
- LemurDaddy, on 10/17/2007, -0/+82That's patently unfair to female genitals. There are many lovely, friendly, welcoming ***** in this world. Why compare them to the Coultergeist?
- Mononuclear, on 10/17/2007, -0/+17Casper is a friendly ghost..
- nullx42, on 10/17/2007, -5/+44Now bear with me here diggers... but I think... that in this one case.. the word "*****" is applicable. before you digg me down in rage, say it out loud for yourself. "Ann Coulter is a *****". Thats all I have to say.
- HunterTV, on 10/16/2007, -1/+12@nullx42
Dugg up for creative justification.

- djvchris, on 10/17/2007, -2/+47You guys better bury this before she gets her pitch fork...
- SquigglyP, on 10/22/2007, -2/+56yeah i can see it now:
"My website got hacked. Obviously the entire internet is made up of liberals. we should just destroy it"- pintomp3, on 10/22/2007, -0/+19well, the internet is data agnostic...
- MicrosoftBob, on 10/16/2007, -1/+3Agnostic? That's even worse than liberal!
- pintomp3, on 10/22/2007, -0/+19well, the internet is data agnostic...
- jbhannah, on 10/16/2007, -1/+11Hell no! Digg this, we might cause a crater.
- EmoSLWarrior, on 10/17/2007, -7/+2Pitchfork? How is that even funny?
- TheCatsPants, on 10/16/2007, -0/+2Don't you mean "broom"?
- SquigglyP, on 10/22/2007, -2/+56yeah i can see it now:
- izzybr, on 10/22/2007, -7/+403Whoever hacked her has a lot more class than she does. That was truly an attack with style, unlike her mindless rants
- gernblansted, on 10/16/2007, -1/+17The beauty is, to the extent she descries the words on that page, she makes that much more of an idiot of herself.
- Gothvanhelsing, on 10/16/2007, -61/+4Spoken like a true idiot. Hackers are nothing more then losers who have to much time. Vandals are nothing more then losers who can't find girlfriends and or boyfriends. They damaged my business when I ran my server and I have no love for dumasses who like to F#$K with other people's money.
- vat0r, on 10/16/2007, -2/+19Next time spend a little more money and have someone actually secure that server. You and most importantly your customers will feel much better.
- Gothvanhelsing, on 10/16/2007, -27/+1Thank you captain obvious, and as we all know money grows on trees. But really not every business has the buying power of IBM some just make it with a little extra here and there. But thanks for the great idea. Regardless of security hackers still suck no matter whose server they are breaking into.
- Ajajadude, on 10/16/2007, -1/+16If you don't have the money and resources to properly secure your server, let alone anything in life, don't bitch when something happens to it.
- Gothvanhelsing, on 10/16/2007, -16/+2I guess we should all leave running businesses to the rich. Sorry I forgot my place master. I just hope some day you try to do something and put 100% of your time and resources into it and a hacker comes along and does it to you. Then I would love to see you smugly say "It was all my fault for not having the extra resources to secure the server a little better." What ever you do never blame the person committing a crime.
- EmoSLWarrior, on 10/16/2007, -0/+10Settle down before you give yourself a coronary. If you're running a business it's unlikely that your "poor". If you have the money to afford a server, then security is free if you actually learn to use the server properly. All you have to do is invest your time instead of complaining about hackers and security. That's time that could be used to learn about more secure computing practices. Personally I use my Mac Book pro a the client and buy server space on Linux boxes for the server end. If you didn't do that, then you are completely to blame for your security issues.
- Gothvanhelsing, on 10/16/2007, -11/+1If I don't buy a mac i am to blame for another person forcing their way into my server. So if you forget to lock the door and your house is robbed do you forgo filing a police report and just chalk it up to being your fault that another person has stolen all your stuff?
- Croaton, on 10/16/2007, -0/+5You should blame the thief for stealing your stuff... and you should blame yourself for letting him do it...
- krebcycle, on 10/16/2007, -7/+2No, you should ***** blame the thief, and if you catch him, ***** beat the living ***** out of him.
Don't ***** beat on this poor dude, he got *****. Maybe he didn't know to keep his data safe, but still, he got ***** by a dick. A human dick. That was his only point in his original comment, even though I'd love to chime in. - fuckinhell, on 10/17/2007, -1/+0We're dicks! We're reckless, arrogant, stupid dicks. And the Film Actors Guild are pussies. And Kim Jong Il is an *****. Pussies don't like dicks, because pussies get ***** by dicks. But dicks also ***** assholes: assholes that just want to ***** on everything. Pussies may think they can deal with assholes their way. But the only thing that can ***** an ***** is a dick, with some balls. The problem with dicks is: they ***** too much or ***** when it isn't appropriate - and it takes a pussy to show them that. But sometimes, pussies can be so full of ***** that they become assholes themselves... because pussies are an inch and half away from ass holes. I don't know much about this crazy, crazy world, but I do know this: If you don't let us ***** this *****, we're going to have our dicks and pussies all covered in *****!
- bjornski, on 10/16/2007, -0/+4Yeah, poor Ann can't afford a host who can keep her stuff secured. You host for the Coultergeist, you have to expect this.
Boo, hoo hoo.
Her books must not be selling very well. - Gothvanhelsing, on 10/16/2007, -6/+1and maybe they fired the admin after it was hacked. Wouldn't that be a hoot
- jbhannah, on 10/16/2007, -0/+2Hey, as far as the admin goes, if A.C. fires him, he's better off working for someone else. She was the target, not the admin, and if she fires the admin she's only helping us prove our point.
- jbhannah, on 10/16/2007, -0/+6Problem 1! The word you are looking for is "cracker," not "hacker." Generally, though, replacing the misused term. you are correct. However…
Problem 2! This is ANN C*****R we're talking about: not a human being, and even moreso not someone who it's worth being bothered by over wasting her money or causing her damage. What do you think she's made her career from?- Gothvanhelsing, on 10/16/2007, -7/+1I don't care. I don't think crime on some people is good crime. Who decides when victimizing a person is a good thing? is that your station in life? Or do you feel law enforcement should be enforced only on people who don't share your ideas?
- xister, on 10/16/2007, -0/+7Sometimes, there comes along in this world a person who is hated or at least disliked by the majority of the populace. Hitler was one. Annie is another. Hal Turner is another one. Yes, they have their small band of believers, but for the most part, they're scum and generally have nothing positive to give to society. Hell, it could probably be argued that Hitler had a more positive impact on humanity than Ann Coulter. I have no problem cheering on crackers that destroy or gain entrance to sites like hers simply because these people are awful. And before anyone turns the argument around and says, "B-b-b-b-but what if it were YOU...." Well, I'm just not a douchebag (or at least no a big enough of one) to go around and spread the kind of hate and vitriol that this woman has. She deserves every bit of negativity that comes her way. What a *****.
- Gothvanhelsing, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1I beg to differ. I just don't see crime as being something that is good for the goose but not the gander.
- jbhannah, on 10/16/2007, -0/+5You just listed everything that Ann C*****r has made herself one of the most hated people in the world for. She started the game of herself vs. everyone who is different than what she thinks is acceptable. We're just playing it.
- Gothvanhelsing, on 10/16/2007, -7/+1Feel free to list the crimes she has committed against the people that don't share her ideas. So what your saying is your like the liberal equivalent of Ann Coulter?
- jbhannah, on 10/16/2007, -0/+3Feel free to list the crimes I've committed against her, or you. As for C*****r, I could go on for quite a while listing all of the insulting/racist/offensive statements she's made that would make the majority of people more than happy to commit a crime against her.
- jbhannah, on 10/16/2007, -0/+2Also, YOUR grammar is atrocious.
- Gothvanhelsing, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1I never said you committed crimes against anyone. Making what some may, or may not call insulting/racist/offensive statements is not committing a crime. As for the grammar whats your point. Or is the point to change the subject?
- pineutrino, on 10/16/2007, -0/+4She's not being attacked simply because others disagree with her; she's being attacked because she's almost universally considered to be a scumbag. Whether or not this justifies an attack like this is debatable, but you're oversimplifying the issue a bit by claiming the attack's merely over a difference of opinion.
You make good points regarding how horrible it can be to be hacked yourself, though.- jbhannah, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1Well said.
I've been a sysadmin too, and being hacked sucks. But this is one of those things where I'm just saying "damn, I'm glad it wasn't MY ass on the burner." - Gothvanhelsing, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1I say in a court of law the idea is not to decide innocent or guilty based on a persons ideas or beliefs. I just don't like seeing people cheering a crime. Any crime. For all the WaHoo people here know if the hacking was real someone with a family could be fired for the breach. I think all crackers and web vandals suck so it makes me mad when people show what could be seen as support for one
- jbhannah, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1Well said.
- Gothvanhelsing, on 10/16/2007, -7/+1I don't care. I don't think crime on some people is good crime. Who decides when victimizing a person is a good thing? is that your station in life? Or do you feel law enforcement should be enforced only on people who don't share your ideas?
- EmoSLWarrior, on 10/16/2007, -0/+9I don't think it's wrong to mess with other people's money when they mess with my life. Ann Coulter attacks me and people like me on a daily basis simply because she disagrees with the way we live our lives. She deserves far more than a defaced page in return for the damage she has caused by rallying people to her side of the fence.
- Gothvanhelsing, on 10/16/2007, -9/+1So if you cut me off when driving can I rob your house? when you cut me off on the road your messing with my life raising my blood pressure and increasing my risk of a heart attack by doing it, let alone the danger of me swerving off the road and crashing. I love how you justify crime. I am sure every day people come running up to you with whatever Ann Colter has written, and use her words to make you live in misery 24/7.
- jbhannah, on 10/16/2007, -0/+3We're not justifying it—if the person responsible is caught, he'll deserve his punishment, but damned if the first words out of his mouth aren't "It was worth it." We're simply doing what she does to the people she hates: taking amusement from her plight.
- EmoSLWarrior, on 10/16/2007, -0/+3You are not speaking logically. Please learn the art of conversation before engaging with me.
- Gothvanhelsing, on 10/16/2007, -6/+1 jbhannah Wouldn't the cause be much better served if the person took the same energy and worked to build their own site as a way to state their counterpoints to Ann Coulter? It would lend more credibility to their feelings.
EmoSLWarrior wow what a cop out. - jbhannah, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1Hey, I'm not the one that did it: it's up to the person who cracked it to decide how to use his energy, it's up to A.C. how to use hers, and it's up to you how to use yours. It's just that much easier for us than for you to continue this.
- jbhannah, on 10/16/2007, -0/+2One final point: pardon the metaphor, but the punishment fits the crime. You cut me off in traffic, I flip you off. Ann Coulter insults half of the world, the world exacts its revenge in humiliation.
- EmoSLWarrior, on 10/16/2007, -2/+2Not a cop out. Simply not wishing to waste my time on you until you formulate a logical argument to refute what I said. You did no such thing, therefore you deserve no further attention. In short, you're wasting your time and looking foolish while doing so. Say something worth responding to and I will.
- EmoSLWarrior, on 10/16/2007, -1/+1Actually it would be an idiotic waste of time to spend time trying to compete with Ann Coulter. There is no way to be able to attain her level of popularity without the money and connections she had to start with. You would also have to make it your career to do so. But back to the main point. Why are you defending her. Do you support her views? Do you like her? If so, then your opinion in this particular thread is invalid.
- Gothvanhelsing, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1I am not supporting anything she has said in any of my posts on here. I am just pointing out that no crime that is committed is something to cheer about. If I caught a thread saying Al Gore's site was hacked I would be just as disgusted by it.
- krebcycle, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1Dude, quit typing, painful to read.
- FyberOptic, on 10/16/2007, -1/+3Maybe you should have spent more of that money on education, since your spelling and grammar is atrocious.
- Gothvanhelsing, on 10/16/2007, -8/+2Thats the best you got,,, sad
- jbhannah, on 10/16/2007, -0/+3Says the person who uses commas for an ellipsis and puts a space after it, and who apparently missed the memo about the existence of apostrophes.
- jbhannah, on 10/16/2007, -0/+3I think he's gone finally.
- uu2b, on 10/16/2007, -0/+3Then hopefully you've found a new job that you're actually good at. Quit crying you pussy.
- vat0r, on 10/16/2007, -2/+19Next time spend a little more money and have someone actually secure that server. You and most importantly your customers will feel much better.
- DMCer, on 10/16/2007, -9/+2SHE'S NOT HACKED YOU IDIOT, READ ABOVE
- AscendoTuum, on 10/16/2007, -0/+2I found the following to be a bit condescending though: "These people are in need of education." It reeks slightly of Western elitism and somehow sounds like: "You people need us to educate you."
***** you, educate your own people first. It's not like all of you are enlightened and have more grey matter than the average sponge, and it's not like we're all a bunch of ***** idiots who need the White Man either.
Having said that, Ann Coulter is an asshat and kudos to the person who pulled this off, (unintentional?) condescension aside. - bluetrevian, on 10/16/2007, -0/+2Truer words were never said by the fake Ann Coulter... or were they?
- juicebag, on 10/17/2007, -10/+67Does it not say "hacked" in the title? Way to read, people who think this is real.
- izzybr, on 10/22/2007, -1/+19Here's some google cache in your face
http://64.233.169.104/search?q=cache:nY_hd_eIknUJ: ...- Godlike, on 10/16/2007, -2/+6Wow I just even checked and 64.233.169.104 is a google cache server... I stand corrected in my previous assumption and I am pretty happy that it actually happened.
- bjornski, on 10/16/2007, -1/+5Well, if you go to www.anncoulter.com, it's still up. No need to use a cache.
It's real.- Godlike, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1Like, really really real? Like, she actually wrote it? I am stunned with disbelief if that is true. I didn't check to begin with because I assumed if it was a hack it would be taken down, and hell why give that site a hit?
- bjornski, on 10/16/2007, -1/+5Well, if you go to www.anncoulter.com, it's still up. No need to use a cache.

- cheesphht, on 10/17/2007, -50/+3Nice bod. Now can I say I digg(ed) Anne Coulter?
- djvchris, on 10/16/2007, -0/+11No.
- badqat, on 10/16/2007, -19/+0Yeah...I'd hit it. But you'll be dugg down because you're admitting you would as well.
- moskaudancer, on 10/16/2007, -0/+8That's just obscene.
- Ajajadude, on 10/16/2007, -0/+7Well, there goes the dinner I just ate...
- badqat, on 10/16/2007, -4/+0Even better would be a threesome with Ann and Michelle Malkin. Yummy!
- BlackOp, on 10/16/2007, -1/+2Malkin isn't that bad. Coulter is a dog though.
- badqat, on 10/16/2007, -4/+0Even better would be a threesome with Ann and Michelle Malkin. Yummy!
- Godlike, on 10/16/2007, -0/+8I'd hit it... in the head with a seven foot lead pipe and a splatter shield.

- jcingalls, on 10/16/2007, -0/+15Well, that's where you and I differ.
- p0tent1al, on 10/16/2007, -1/+11generally? So your telling me that you prefer women, but sometimes you just have a hankering for a little boy?
- BrewBeau, on 10/17/2007, -0/+2Ha. Well, so far women have done it for me, but as a reasonable person, I can't rule anything out.

- llamaguy132, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1the word was made up for digg, by being anal about the spelling of a fake word I was making a joke.

- zman14321, on 10/17/2007, -2/+89Wow, I want to meet the person who wrote that and shake their hand in person. This actually makes Coulter look good.
- jbhannah, on 10/16/2007, -0/+12You, sir, have named the only bad thing about this.
- wtfpwned98, on 10/16/2007, -0/+12I think the person who hacked this realized that nothing he could write would be as much of a joke as having Ann seem intelligent.
- hoserjoe, on 10/17/2007, -0/+1Ann wrote it herself to get the diggbats in a tizzy. Sooner or later they'll buy her book. They can't resist. It's like crack.

- TVarmy, on 10/16/2007, -0/+4It ran away for political freedom. That's why she's so manly.
- Godlike, on 10/16/2007, -1/+12Ann Coulter is a man, Kavery. Under the clothes if not in complete appearance. But you need to be kind, y'know? 'Her' and 'She' and all that. Plenty of reasons to attack Ann besides the fact that she is a male.
- larthallor, on 10/16/2007, -1/+19Pussies being called democrats? Doesn't it usually happen the other way around?
- llamaguy132, on 10/16/2007, -1/+5ZING!

- mrurc, on 10/16/2007, -1/+1Ohhhhhhh that was just wrong. And yet, so right.
- endora123, on 10/16/2007, -1/+6She/he clearly has an adam's apple. How is that possible if she's biologically female? Just curious...
- Ashcan, on 10/16/2007, -0/+4A fair percentage of women have an Adam's Apple, and a small percentage of men do not have one. Most of it is based on hormone levels one has once you hit puberty. In women, a large Adam's Apple can also be a sign of certain type of health issues. But the thought that all men (and only men) have an Adam's Apple, and woman never do, is false.
- 22magnum, on 10/16/2007, -7/+1why, because it doesn't have a brain?
jk - ShokDoktor, on 10/16/2007, -4/+6Ann Coulter has a *****.

- Lokishot, on 10/16/2007, -1/+52Wait she have a vagina???
- Godlike, on 10/17/2007, -8/+35I really hope someday I am in the same room as her on-air, so that I can just stand up and look her right in the eyes and say "You horse faced bitch, who do you think you are spreading hatred and bigotry? You belong in the KKK not the newsroom." and walk out.
The only problem with me actually doing this... you can say bitch on TV now, right? I would call that whore out in a heartbeat.- Ajajadude, on 10/17/2007, -6/+2Funny, if I was in the same room with her, only one of us wouldn't be leaving in a body bag.
- qwerter, on 10/17/2007, -0/+6Funny, this seems to be exactly the attention she's going for.
- maz2331, on 10/17/2007, -5/+3She would probably taze you, bro.

- Agrant5, on 10/16/2007, -2/+7still is
- jetboyterp, on 10/17/2007, -75/+7I wonder what you lefties would say if someone hacked a liberal's site and did the same thing. Yeah, I wonder....
- thelazypopulist, on 10/17/2007, -15/+11Ya, too bad liberals arent evil like the conservatives ...
No really, just let the conservatives have ur rights and lie to you, the liberals of the world will be there to save your sorry ass ...- Gothvanhelsing, on 10/17/2007, -15/+2Reading what I have seen here it seems Liberals support crime, as long as it is against someone who doesn't share their ideas. I find that as sad as the losers who blow up clinics.
- xister, on 10/17/2007, -2/+9Yeah, except that people AREN'T DYING in this case.... Douche... Hey Gothvanhelsing, are you really Ann Coulter? Besides, I'd laugh if the same thing happened to Daily KOS.
- bjornski, on 10/17/2007, -0/+10Or those that give billions in tax breaks to companies that are making record profits, while telling the citizens "medical care - NOT YOURS!"

- ZenMojo, on 10/16/2007, -2/+29I thought, as Liberals, we were all about moral relativism. I guess the conservatives own the whole "Who cares what we do, we're the good guys" angle.
- JPOOPOO, on 10/16/2007, -2/+16If by liberal, you mean any one else that acts like Ann Coulter on a daily basis (Basically making money off of being a bigot), then the same exact thing would happen.
- davidhasselhoff, on 10/16/2007, -0/+2kinda like... Al Sharpton!
- mrurc, on 10/16/2007, -0/+2Yes, I would totally laugh if it happened to Al Sharpton.

- 1310nm, on 10/16/2007, -0/+14Republicans hack with TJPing and visual IP route tracing. "Take this 64 byte ping, communist swine!"
- llamaguy132, on 10/17/2007, -0/+18I'm a conservative, but Anne is a *****, theres a difference
see: (conservative)=12 letters :: while (*****)=4 letters- MarkusGarvey, on 10/16/2007, -0/+4eloquently contrived sir..
- bjornski, on 10/16/2007, -4/+3You're right. It's spelled differently.
But the meaning is one and the same.
- Chakat, on 10/16/2007, -0/+5Schadenfreude. I don't condone hacking, but I can still laugh at it.
- hoserjoe, on 10/17/2007, -1/+1Ha ha! They don't have to! Liberals get drunk and fall down, and then try to say that Karl Rove attacked them:
http://talkingradio.blogspot.com/2007/10/randi-rho ...
It's a lot simpler than trying to trying to fake-hack a website.
- thelazypopulist, on 10/17/2007, -15/+11Ya, too bad liberals arent evil like the conservatives ...
- TriTech, on 10/16/2007, -16/+5If only it were real... next, it would be nice if someone hacked Rush (short for Russian) Limbaugh's show.

- howilearned, on 10/16/2007, -1/+5If you weren't going to do it, I was.
Many thanks. - UncleBadTouch, on 10/16/2007, -24/+3OH NOZ SOMONE ON THE INTERWEBZ INADVERTENTLY USED "YOUR" INSTEAD OF "YOU'RE".
Go ***** your mother nerd.- FoolsRun, on 10/19/2007, -3/+19Spelling like a six-year-old and then getting angry about it when someone on the internet points out your mistake. Hoo boy.
- mrurc, on 10/16/2007, -2/+6Yeah, using your instead of you're is not a typo. Just because you don't know how to use them properly doesn't mean you should be mad about it.
- RGWX, on 10/16/2007, -4/+1Apparently punctuation is also an issue, but hey...its just English.

- Godlike, on 10/16/2007, -2/+13You win the prize.
- jmpeagle, on 10/16/2007, -12/+7seriously? Read what you wrote and see if YOUR usage of a possessive makes any sense at all.
- diggbuddy, on 10/16/2007, -3/+5Actually, "what's" in this context is a contraction for "what is" and is not possessive. In fact, not knowing the difference is the reason people make this sort of grammatical mistake.
- theclashrocker, on 10/16/2007, -2/+0He was referring to "your a *****". It's YOU'RE a *****. your is possesion. You're is what you are.
- diggbuddy, on 10/16/2007, -3/+5Actually, "what's" in this context is a contraction for "what is" and is not possessive. In fact, not knowing the difference is the reason people make this sort of grammatical mistake.

- chitoiup, on 10/16/2007, -1/+21...and that is why I am a computer scientist!
- Vonzell, on 10/16/2007, -2/+49I went to her website and was greeted by BUY.com advertising. I shop there often and was kinda dissapointed that they advertise with a hate monger like Anne C. I have since sent them a letter that will probably be ignored.
If you shop there please let them know you don't like them sending her money.
https://secure.buy.com/corp/support/email/default. ...- fuzzmeister, on 10/16/2007, -1/+5It's just the ad network her site uses I bet. If they are directly advertising though, that is a bit touchy.
- DukeMojo, on 10/16/2007, -16/+1It's a free market, *****.
- Sinistocrat, on 10/16/2007, -0/+12And demand just went down.
- FoolsRun, on 10/16/2007, -0/+10Um. Exactly? Do you understand the words you're using?
- mrurc, on 10/16/2007, -0/+6He understands "*****." Obviously.
- tycity, on 10/16/2007, -0/+7You think that's bad - I was seriously greeted by a PRO GUN ad with an ugly chick with her MK47 wearing a tee-shirt mocking Arabic people with the word INFIDEL under it. The ugly bitch has no shame (and obviously no soul) to be selling out to NRA bigoted tacky merchandisers... the woman is a pig.
- hoserjoe, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1Good thinking, Akbar
- HighwayofLife, on 10/16/2007, -15/+6This is obviously a staged image. when going to anncoulter.com, it always redirects to a CGI script. The Author also tried to show authenticity by doing the "mockup" in Safari. But it’s very easy to change text on images... here... let me show you how: http://myskitch.com/highwayoflife/it_wasn_t_hacked ...
- RyeBrye, on 10/16/2007, -3/+2Yeah. it's a piece of cake. It's even easier in Opera - you can edit the source file and reload it. I do it all the time to prank friends.
- byrdgang, on 10/16/2007, -1/+3You didn't tell us HOW you did it. Anyway, my Digg doesn't have ads. Firefox + AdblockPlus.
- Godlike, on 10/16/2007, -7/+2Everyone who matters here already knows that it wasn't hacked... that aside, it is also pretty easy for anyone sufficiently technical how to easily craft the image that you did... for the rest of you; by using the website itself to generate the font and just copy/paste from a colored corner pixel. In the case of Anne's site you might need the actual font, but that really isn't very hard to generate and probably doesn't have to be 100% authentic to fool most viewers.
- Jlaugh, on 10/16/2007, -1/+1One could just download firebug and check out the CSS file. Odds are it's in a Cross platform or MS system font anyways.
It's hilarious either way. - Speck, on 10/16/2007, -2/+1Yeah, but if you look at the headline in the "hacked" piece, you'll notice it's title case, where on her(his) actual site, the headlines are styled with "text-transform:uppercase". This was a sloppy "hack", made worse by the awkward syntax that is definitely not (m)Ann Coulter. I can't even say "nice try".

Jonathan Pitts of The Baltimore Sun She's the Hammer; Liberals Her Nail - bgarrett, on 10/16/2007, -46/+5this hack wants you to believe that religion is 'petty differences'??
thats extremely naive
the muslims want all of YOU dead- Godlike, on 10/16/2007, -0/+7Perhaps more likely, that they are superficial differences, and that the petty part of it is how personally people take opposing views.
- LopsidedZebra, on 10/16/2007, -1/+2Perhaps more likely, (or not, this IS digg) he is trying to be funny in a sarcastic manner, playing the devil's advocate by taking an opposing view.
- Godlike, on 10/16/2007, -0/+2In text, it's not sarcasm if it's not obvious. I refuse to second-guess every single thing just because sarcasm exists.
- LopsidedZebra, on 10/16/2007, -1/+2Perhaps more likely, (or not, this IS digg) he is trying to be funny in a sarcastic manner, playing the devil's advocate by taking an opposing view.
- celebi23, on 10/16/2007, -1/+15Wow, what little you know about Islam, you thickheaded bigot.
- Gothvanhelsing, on 10/16/2007, -6/+3I know Mohammad had a 6 year old wife Aisha, and she was 9 when the marriage was consummated.
- Godlike, on 10/16/2007, -1/+1Yeah well so she didn't have a childhood big deal. Completely different culture from your own, you cannot judge something like that from an American cultural perspective.
- kronix2, on 10/16/2007, -1/+1The big deal is that he, a grown man, ***** a nine-year-old while claiming to be a prophet of Allah.
- Godlike, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1What, a dude who claimed that he was on a mission from God did something else you find weird? At least that was his wife, with an actual social context. Look at the Catholics - what he did is perfectly peaceful compare to that ***** *****. ***** *****... Whatever - the point is that within the culture and the context it was not very off. If you want to judge someone for their 'values' then you need to understand that to them, that scenario was not only acceptable, but that the in-laws were probably pretty happy with it.
I am not 'defending' anything; I am trying to provide answers for why something that was totally acceptable to them looks odd to you. For humans, 9 years is easily sexually mature. We didn't use to live until 90 and have 18 years to fart away on a ***** social experiment... and those people never did or had any exposure to a culture (or would even care) that it is 'contextually' incorrect to a small handful of Americans.
Just... can't people please realize that their ways are not the only ways?
- xister, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1And Catholic priests have raped little boys and girls for decades (that we know of). Which is worse or more relevant?
- kronix2, on 10/16/2007, -1/+1Gothvanhelsing's being dugg down, but he's correct. That's why the age of consent is 9 in many uneducated and tribal Muslim communities.
- Godlike, on 10/16/2007, -1/+1Yeah well so she didn't have a childhood big deal. Completely different culture from your own, you cannot judge something like that from an American cultural perspective.
- Gothvanhelsing, on 10/16/2007, -6/+3I know Mohammad had a 6 year old wife Aisha, and she was 9 when the marriage was consummated.
- Fordi, on 10/16/2007, -0/+5A very few muslims want all of US dead (yourself included, douchey). Most of them would rather like to be left to their own devices - even if they kill each other off.
A funny aside:
I was at one point discussing the various situations in the middle east with my girlfriend. We covered a lot of information, including information the both of us have via acquaintences from countries like Pakistan, Iraq, Somalia, Kuwait, etc. We were both rather getting into the discussion when she happened upon something I found to be brilliant.
"There is a large number of people there who just genetically can't leave the party."
I asked for explanation, of course, as this was a bit ambiguous. In The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, by Douglas Adams, there's a four-generation party. The party has lasted for four generations because it was 1) a huge party, 2) a fun enough party for people to remain the 'day after', and 3) trans-generational, because the children of those who didn't leave the party were thus less likely to leave the party.
It implies more about desert nomads than extremist bombers, but is quite enlightening - especially when you meet a well-fed Somalian who's moved to the US, and who thinks that the starving people in Somalia are /morons/ - all they'd have to do is move into the damned city (yes, there are cities in Somalia, and quite nice ones). - algo, on 10/16/2007, -1/+1nah, i'm a muslim most of the comments on here have me smiling. i only want you dead ;)
- Godlike, on 10/16/2007, -0/+7Perhaps more likely, that they are superficial differences, and that the petty part of it is how personally people take opposing views.

- aznhomig, on 10/22/2007, -0/+5Ugh, I wouldn't want to go on forums like that, it's like walking into an NKVD office when you're a blatant anti-Communist, it just doesn't work there if you happen to be, as they say, of the "leftist" stance.
- weebit, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1Not only that she requires a ISP email address can't use gmail, yahoo, hotmail etc. Hell I don't use my ISP email for nothing but business, I never plan to use it for a forum.

- gak001, on 10/22/2007, -2/+130Well, Stephen Colbert put it best. When asked if he'd ever have Ann Coulter on the show, he replied: “My sense is that she’s playing a character. I don’t need another character. There’s one character on my show, and that’s me.”
- Mariachi94, on 10/16/2007, -0/+15That's an awesome quote. When did he say this?
- TVarmy, on 10/16/2007, -0/+11I read it in an interview in Time about a week after his show premiered.

- FoxtrotUSAF, on 10/16/2007, -0/+5With the way she talks and writes I wouldn't be surprised in the least if she was nothing more than a highly financially compensated shill for conservatives, even if to only serve a a "straw-woman" distraction.
- jwestmore, on 10/16/2007, -2/+9Hacked site, faked images, or an actual letter from Coulter makes no difference to me. I laughed. However, even though the odds are 1,000,000 to 1, I sincerely wish she had written it herself...
- TheSwashbuckler, on 10/22/2007, -0/+11A hack got hacked...
- techjedi, on 10/22/2007, -2/+42It's not a photoshop... google cache snagged it when I checked -- but definitely a hack.

- Bdog2g2, on 10/16/2007, -0/+2And so are many of the people in the White House, they graduated from Pat Robertson's Law School.
So that's not saying much.

- Shadoglare, on 10/16/2007, -22/+1So again the leftie "champions of free speech" only agree with free speech when it's someone they agree with, and try to silence others. Nice.
- Hetman, on 10/16/2007, -0/+12You do not have to be tolerant of intolerance.
- pineutrino, on 10/16/2007, -0/+4Exactly. Tolerance requires respect, and respect must be earned.
- Triachus, on 10/16/2007, -1/+10Shut your mouth, Republican. Have some irony.
- Shadoglare, on 10/16/2007, -1/+2Sorry, not a Republican. Just somebody who's able to see hypocracy for what it is.
- mrurc, on 10/16/2007, -0/+5This did not silence anyone. Why are you trying to make this into a first amendment issue when no one is being silenced?
Do you mind if someone gets a little free speech of their own once and a while? Cause that's what this "hack" is.- Shadoglare, on 10/16/2007, -2/+1If they didn't remove the original text to put up their own, I might agree with you. If they didn't criminally hack into somebody's else's server to deface their home page, I might agree with you. Thusly, I'm having trouble agreeing with you.
- RGWX, on 10/16/2007, -0/+3Does the website and its content constitute her personal and intellectual property? If I walked up to your house and spraypainted the word "Douchebag" in 10 foot letters, is that just me exercising free speech? I just "hacked" your house.
- Hetman, on 10/16/2007, -0/+12You do not have to be tolerant of intolerance.
- depro9, on 10/22/2007, -2/+9Say what you will about the woman, but know that she has balls in proportion of her massive penis.
- bigapple666, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1She has neither. Merely a layer of dust over the place where her female parts should be.
- TVarmy, on 10/16/2007, -1/+6The more I think about it, the more I realize I'd actually respect her and be able to 100% laugh at what she's said if this were real. It'd make life easier.
- MarkusGarvey, on 10/16/2007, -6/+1Viral marketing.....
- Gothvanhelsing, on 10/16/2007, -14/+1Know what would be wicked sweet if some poor guy who maintains her site got fired for it. Wow that would be wicked cool. I don't care who's site they hack Hackers still suck ass
- jbhannah, on 10/16/2007, -0/+3And thus the breakdown begins…I can't be the only one reminded of BOR/AC/Malkin here.
- hoserjoe, on 10/17/2007, -0/+1It's more good business for Ann, except the morons on Digg don't understand! Sooner or later you'll buy her book - you can't resist!
- postal21, on 10/16/2007, -13/+4Everyone might hate her... but shes much much much much smarter then any of us.
She can sit back with her piles of money and laugh while we all rabble on a chat forum.- gol706, on 10/16/2007, -1/+2Brittany Spears is rich too....
- hoserjoe, on 10/17/2007, -0/+1Yeah but Britney looks like w WWW wrestler with her crew cut.
- halfabean, on 10/16/2007, -0/+2most actors are able to do that with their money too, and most actors are idiots.
i dont see how piles of money makes a person much much much much smarter. - mrurc, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1That is because I don't make money with hate speech, like she does. It is not that she is smarter than me; it is that I care about people other than myself.
- hoserjoe, on 10/17/2007, -0/+1Like you care so much about people other than yourself, you can't stop tallking about how excellent you are.
- gol706, on 10/16/2007, -1/+2Brittany Spears is rich too....
- sgu222e, on 10/17/2007, -0/+18I'd like to see her kicked in the teeth by a mule
- taylooooor, on 10/22/2007, -0/+11Yeah! Ann Coulter kicking herself in the teeth would be amazing!
- DestroyFascism, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1MM Very flexible Mule.....
Trained as Ninja?
- LoneRanger85, on 10/23/2007, -38/+5Another dirty trick from the champions of free speech -- the hateful liberals. Whereas liberals come totally unhinged when Ann's name is mentioned, she said on O'Reilly tonight that she doesn't hate liberals. She is amused by them. Ann Coulter regards liberals as pathetic little clowns. She says something outrageous and the pathetic little clowns do their pathetic little clown dance and her bank account bulges further. It really is a perfect example of how simple-minded liberals are. THEY are making her rich and famous. Without liberal hysterics and hatred, nobody would have heard of her.
- jbhannah, on 10/23/2007, -0/+5It's perfectly even then, because rather than being annoyed or incensed (her intended effect) seemingly everyone is just as amused by her. It's like teasing a small child: so easy it almost isn't fair.
- FyberOptic, on 10/16/2007, -0/+9So I guess when people want to put advertisements in the paper with their opposing opinions, like the Move On ordeal, then it's okay for 'hateful conservatives' to attack it relentlessly? Hypocrisy works well for you, eh?
Though of course, they only did that to divert attention away from the war, but their actions still stand. - sharpfork, on 10/16/2007, -0/+8bla bla bla- you have no idea who did this... Ever think a not yet "perfected" Jewish hacker did this? Oh, I accused you of thinking. I see form your comments you are only capable of knee-jerk reactions and blaming liberals for everything.
- hoserjoe, on 10/17/2007, -0/+1Except that a Jewish hacker wouldn't be such a moron as to believe any of this paranoid diggbat nonsense
- BrandonMills, on 10/16/2007, -1/+3Liberals aren't the ones who turn Ann Coulter into a money machine. It's the mainstream media that knows exactly the way she'll act, and yet repeated has her back on the air to purposely enrage people for money. Then the networks act like they had 'no idea' she was going to say something that offensive on-air, when in all reality, they knew exactly what was going to happen. They just wanted the ratings.
- hoserjoe, on 10/17/2007, -0/+1Who's enraged? Everybody I know thinks she's a great story-teller, except for all the lefty loonies.
- Jonsblckhwk, on 10/16/2007, -0/+2You are a ***** nut Loneranger.
