  • keigwyn, on 08/31/2008, -1/+9Hopefully people won't exhibit short-term memory and think that all the care the GOP is showing for people on the Gulf Coast this time makes up for their horrific failures pre- and post-Katrina.

    Right-wingers have pointed to this letter claiming Moore and the Dems are laughing at the disaster to come. They clearly haven't read this. Moore ends with a plead for the hurricane to die at sea, and discusses all of the things he, his supporters and his staff have done to try to help people hit by Katrina--which amount to far more than the GOP and the Bush Administration have done.
