- Echota, on 01/05/2009, -2/+18Amen Michael!
- keigwyn, on 08/31/2008, -1/+9Hopefully people won't exhibit short-term memory and think that all the care the GOP is showing for people on the Gulf Coast this time makes up for their horrific failures pre- and post-Katrina.
Right-wingers have pointed to this letter claiming Moore and the Dems are laughing at the disaster to come. They clearly haven't read this. Moore ends with a plead for the hurricane to die at sea, and discusses all of the things he, his supporters and his staff have done to try to help people hit by Katrina--which amount to far more than the GOP and the Bush Administration have done. - hcl40u, on 08/31/2008, -1/+7God is known to have spotty aim and timing when it comes to answering prayers. We've all heard stories of people saying their prayers have been answered in unexpected ways.
- inactive, on 08/31/2008, -1/+6Yes, Michael has special connections. Dobson's Choice? Sorry, Hobson's Choice, is it.
- EarlOfLade, on 08/31/2008, -1/+5Yeah, GOP is now rolling out the red carpet treatment to New Orleans because they KNOW people only remember what happened a short time ago and now they can say "See, we have learned!" and Joe Schmuck goes "ohhhhhh! Golly Wolly Praise the Lord, I'll vote McCain!"
- EarlOfLade, on 08/31/2008, -0/+3Well, since this god helped Zach Johnson to win a Masters in golf, I guess helping out in New Orleans would be a sure thing...
- jeebodon, on 09/01/2008, -2/+4Wow, amazing job Michael...make jokes while people's homes/lives are destroyed (possibly again) by a hurricane. About as classy as Don Fowler laughing at the matter.

- Phylter, on 09/01/2008, -1/+1I will never forget the horrible vision of bodies floating on the flood tide, while nobody but the MSM, and of course, Blackwater goons. could get there, and Bush played the air guitar, a la Nero. Now, they suddenly pretend to care. Who's buying it? How stupid do they think we are?
- jeebodon, on 09/01/2008, -2/+1The difference is that Dobson's comment was tongue-in-cheek...a storm? Woopdee-do. A Cat-3 hurricane, mandatory evacuations, Nagin claiming it's the "storm of the century"...not exactly a laughing matter.
