- jerintate, on 01/16/2009, -15/+687The difference between Joe the Plumber and that guy at every party is usually that guy at the party takes a hint and goes away after his 15 minutes to get his hamburger. Joe the Plumber had his 15 minutes and he is still around talking crap about the host of the party.
- p1eiades, on 01/16/2009, -23/+470Thank you Rick Sanchez. You've done what should have been done a long time ago.
- anselm83, on 01/16/2009, -50/+443A top submitter submitting a duplicate? Why am I not surprised...
http://digg.com/political_opinion/Rick_Sanchez_Own ... - slowhum, on 01/16/2009, -13/+327Yeah,I see Pajamas TV cutting Joe off real soon.Joe the Plumber will be wedged in the annals of history somewhere between the "where's the beef ladies" and the "Macarena"
- inactive, on 01/16/2009, -20/+270John McCain and You Betch Palin made a joke of the election. Now Joe is taking the same approach to journalism.
- louiebaur, on 01/16/2009, -33/+281Joe your are a tool!
- inactive, on 01/16/2009, -19/+234Damn.
*****.
This dude ate him alive. - haikuFU, on 01/16/2009, -13/+154Joe the plumber embodies everything that is wrong with our country. The Average Joe's ignorance is going to be our downfall.
This man never needed our help, we need help being saved from people like him. Too bad you don't have to pass an IQ test to vote. - lisaawesome, on 01/16/2009, -3/+135If "Joe" thinks the media shouldn't report on all the details of war then why the ***** is he over there as a "war correspondent"?
- Ralphdraw3, on 01/16/2009, -1/+118Who paid for Joe's field trip to Israel? I didn't think Joe had a lot of money. I thought Joe was unemployed and owed back taxes....
- Zippo, on 01/16/2009, -16/+127Joe the PWN'D
- heldlik, on 01/16/2009, -4/+110Unfortunately this IS a good representation of ”Average Joe”. Just take a simple look at the media that sells; Tabloid, simplified, reality-like, coverage for people with the attention span of a squirrel.
Ignorance is the real killer of mankind! - cubicz, on 01/16/2009, -4/+98Not a fan of Sanchez. he's a bit of an obnonxious blowhard (much like he accuses Sam of being), but on this, he's dead on.
Dugg for creative use of "dirty sanchez" :))))) - budbud83, on 01/16/2009, -15/+96that's just priceless
- metaliq, on 01/16/2009, -4/+84liberals *are* normal america.
I mean, didn't Obama win by a vast majority? - logiksan, on 01/16/2009, -1/+78This is a good idea and I will listen to what you say and act upon your advice.

My opinion: ***** YOU, SAM
(coincidence?) - Ataxia13, on 01/16/2009, -7/+73Joe probably still has not paid his back taxes!
- Dundasbro, on 01/16/2009, -7/+71Macarena is a ***** classic you philistine.
- inactive, on 01/16/2009, -12/+74My friends. Joe the Plumber needs our help.
--John McCain - oldhick, on 01/16/2009, -4/+65So you agree with Joe's view on war reporting? We should only have government propaganda ? This is America where we believe in free speech and freedom of the press.
- misterparry, on 01/16/2009, -9/+66Wtf is a Joe the plumber?
- GastonFTW, on 01/16/2009, -2/+58I think he meant to say "you", actually.
- nobelief, on 01/16/2009, -5/+60you should just link youtube instead of a blogspam next time
- ikcilabd, on 01/16/2009, -2/+57a distant cousin of Mario and Luigi...
- labmouse42, on 01/16/2009, -0/+55"Joe" is an opportunist.
Some website offered him huge amounts of money to give semi-literate reports on a situation he likely does not grasp entierly.
Hypocrisy is not a concern for him. Only cash. - googooly, on 01/16/2009, -4/+57Lets be honest.
Power user links goes directly to youtube
Not power user links goes directly to ***** blog with small screen youtube version. - inactive, on 01/16/2009, -5/+56welcome to diggmocracy
- Andrwmorph, on 01/16/2009, -1/+50To be fair, I would milk my "celeb" status for every dollar if I were him.
- BlaqReaper, on 01/16/2009, -12/+58By the way if you don't know that guy Rick Sanchez is talking about, you know the guy who is obnoxious and everyone knows about? Then you're probably that guy.
- Statopspin, on 01/16/2009, -2/+42I think we found "that guy"
- rentmitchum, on 01/16/2009, -2/+40That was amazing. Towards the end I was expecting "You know what I think, Sam? You're a little bitch. That's right.. a bitch"
I like this guy. - T8erT0T, on 01/16/2009, -15/+53"You're not re-hhheeeelllyy a licensed plumber, you're not reehhhheeelllly a journalist....."
- UselessTrivia, on 01/16/2009, -3/+41Oh come on...you can't honestly think that Keith Olberman is honestly the one who created that style of journalism. He has unique rhetoric, just as all good journalists do, but that style of "turn to the camera and law the smack down" goes back at least as far as Edward R. Murrow and probably further.
The twitter/myspace/facebook isn't Olberman's thing either. The networks are pushing that on everyone in a desperate attempt to appear to be hip to the "new media". - youliveinfear, on 01/16/2009, -0/+38With those standards, "She Bang She Bang" William Hung is a genius too.
- booksnmore4you, on 01/16/2009, -11/+48BRAVO to Sanchez!!!!!!!!!
- cyberfreak01, on 01/16/2009, -2/+38hopefully they cut him off while he's still over there and tell him he's on his own
- insinuate, on 01/16/2009, -2/+37***** your blogspam.
- raydeen, on 01/16/2009, -2/+37Hey, whoa whoa whoa. Let's not tarnish the name and memory of Clara Peller by putting her in with the likes of this idiot.
- m4csrgh3yk3v, on 01/16/2009, -26/+60As awesome as this is, it's sad for a non American to see Fox-News-like opinion shows making it into CNN.
Why do you need people like O'Reiley, Olberman and this dude? Can't you think for yourselves instead of being told what to think and feel? - tdclark23, on 01/16/2009, -0/+33Hey, Ive seen a squirrel spend hours trying to get into the bird feeder. Please don't insult an industrious rodent.
- blackinthmiddle, on 01/16/2009, -3/+34Unfortunately, you're right. The more people talk about him, the more they're admitting that he's somehow relevant. Before long, his popularity will allow him to write a stupid book that will make him wealthy. The best thing to do to guys like "Joe" is ignore him. Any attention heaped on him only helps him more.
- Designerdiggs82, on 01/16/2009, -4/+35No my friend YOU'RE buried...
- minorthreat, on 01/16/2009, -4/+34no dude, he made 250k a year plumbing peoples houses.. or whatever it is plumbers do
- dextrocardia, on 01/16/2009, -3/+30@DigPliglet: Also 52% to 46% is not a "vast majority".
You do realize that that margin of victory was three times larger than both of W's margins, combined? - peccadillop, on 01/16/2009, -20/+47Good response... but if is such a douche bag then why report abt WTF he is doing.... I don't think any one would miss him
- aamer, on 01/16/2009, -5/+31Joe the plumber is an idiot.
That said, Rick Sanchez is not really living up to journalistic professionalism by throwing insults around and giving Joe a "life lesson." wtf? I mean since when did journalism become a personal insult match?
This opinionated "journalism" of the 21st century is quite frankly embarrassing (people like Nancy Grace and just about everyone at Fox News is even worse). If you want to call out Joe the plumber, then just do it on facts, but don't try to teach him a life lesson like he's some school kid.
Like I said, Joe the plumber is a f'n idiot, but what Sanchez is doing here is pure punditry. -
