- thefireflyjar, on 03/31/2008, -17/+70Since when can women vote?
- inactive, on 03/31/2008, -5/+39Call me when Alice Cooper endorses Obama

That wasn't hard, was it. - danconia, on 03/31/2008, -6/+33A little late for endorsements, ain't it? Not exactly sticking your neck out by endorsing someone who is pretty much a shoe-in for the nomination. Time for endorsements was like 12 months ago. Seriously doesn't annoy you guys at all when people endorse someone once they pretty much already have the nomination? I'm not saying he has it for sure but it's a good chance that he'll get the nomination. It's like someone endorsing John McCain right now...
- Eivo, on 03/31/2008, -6/+27For some reason, at a glance, i thought that said "Alice Cooper endorses Obama". That would have been a much more awesome endorsement.
- zephyr42, on 03/31/2008, -2/+20That's in more than 12 years..... interesting prediction though.
- rahamm, on 03/31/2008, -2/+19Someone from Georgia endorse Obama?? He only won 70% of the vote there.
In other news the sky is blue and Clinton is married to a former president. - papashawn, on 03/31/2008, -4/+21Can people STFU about race and gender for even a day? just one day? Aren't there issues to be discussed, you know, like the economy?
- somespecial, on 03/31/2008, -5/+21Author of color purple
- foofoobee, on 03/31/2008, -4/+19Um. Then I'm sorry, but you're just dumb.
- inactive, on 03/31/2008, -3/+17Another rich black person endorses obama...Hooray!
- inactive, on 03/31/2008, -3/+13Someone you should know.
- PHiZ187, on 03/31/2008, -0/+9Yeah, ditto. Who the hell is Alice Walker.
- inactive, on 03/31/2008, -0/+9Difficult to read? She writes books that are read in high school.
- ahoy, on 03/31/2008, -0/+9I read alice walker when i was in 8th grade, oh, and I had only been speaking english for 2 years. And to say that Alice Walker is widely disliked is ridiculous.
- pixel4e, on 03/31/2008, -5/+13Pointless comments FTL.
- MoonDog9, on 03/31/2008, -0/+8Well, that's it. If Alice F'n Walker is gonna vote for him then my mind is made up. Thanks Alice.
- heynow21, on 03/31/2008, -1/+9Yeah maybe she will hire Karl Rove and leak that Obama had a white baby in South Carolina.
- skully1337, on 03/31/2008, -17/+25OBAMA FTW
- thedogfatherx, on 03/31/2008, -6/+14And this is news why? Who gives a ***** who Alice Walker endorses.
- Stevanoski, on 03/31/2008, -1/+8I played golf with a foursome once in Amarillo that included Alice Cooper. FYI, he drank a case of beer playing 18 holes, budweiser I think. Around 1972 I think.
- iamondigghaha, on 03/31/2008, -1/+8lol, I haven't decided to support anyone yet. I supported Paul.
Also, why yes, I have written on De Interpretatione. I'm a philosophy major who's painfully aware of Aristotle. However, Aristotelian logic, syllogistic in nature, is pretty antiquated in reference to Fregean symbolic logic. Usually, when someone references Aristotle in particular, I'm talking to a Randian, because they're unaware that anything's happened in logic since 322 BC, which is sad, because even Chrysippus did logic better than Aristotle.
asshat. - schavira, on 03/31/2008, -1/+8And this was unexpected?
- Zipko, on 03/31/2008, -4/+11I'd care more if it was Alice Cooper.
- TheWorm, on 03/31/2008, -0/+6Better question. Who cares? Anyone who has any sort of recognition at all gets on the homepage of Digg if they endorse Obama.
- Gerz1219, on 03/31/2008, -1/+7"The two real political parties in America are the Winners and the Losers. The people don't acknowledge this. They claim membership in two imaginary parties, the Republicans and the Democrats, instead." - Kurt Vonnegut
Endorsements come out after the nomination has been effectively decided because nobody wants to back the loser. The funny thing about endorsing Obama now is that prominent people get to pretend like they're a part of the Movement, when if they'd so loudly declared their support a month or two ago, this race would be long over. - iamondigghaha, on 03/31/2008, -0/+6Oh. It's not Alice Cooper.
OH SHI- - inactive, on 03/31/2008, -2/+8So, now the Obama spammers have gone back to reporting every single meaningless endorsement again?
Where did I see that before? Oh yeah...when the RonPaulians kept submitting stories about how Bob from Bob's Used Cars in Tallahassee endorsed Ron Paul. - inactive, on 03/31/2008, -5/+10My penis still stands
- Zap2, on 03/31/2008, -0/+5I hate people who would vote for or against Obama, McCain or Clinton because they are black/white/woman
Voted based on issues, values, ability to lead......not because what they have in their pants or what color they are! - inactive, on 03/31/2008, -0/+5HA! Cool.
- inactive, on 03/31/2008, -7/+12Some Black woman surprising us all by voting for the Black guy.
- KnightWhoSaysNi, on 03/31/2008, -1/+6Oooooo, big tough guy!!!
- brad3378, on 03/31/2008, -2/+7Watch your ***** language *****.
- queenstarsha, on 03/31/2008, -0/+4it's not about being victims. feminist and black organizations are about overcoming people's biases against women and minorities. if you don't think people still ***hate*** women and minorities for merely existing as they are, you haven't been on digg long.
- inactive, on 03/31/2008, -3/+7Where is your Paul now?
- these3remain, on 03/31/2008, -1/+5Hilarious paranoia? I guess that is better than blind, willful ignorance.
- inactive, on 03/31/2008, -3/+7Wow...did she make the announcement while sitting on Oprah's knee?
Now if Alice Cooper was endorsing Obama...I still wouldn't give a *****. - scotticus, on 03/31/2008, -3/+7Get a blog, *****.
- uberAileen, on 03/31/2008, -0/+4Her piece is too over the top for me. "Enjoy the miracle we are witnessing" ??? Wth, alice, Obama is not the second coming of christ. I support Obama too, but he's not going to cure the blind or have sheep graze at his feet wherever he goes.
- sockpuppets, on 03/31/2008, -4/+7End women's suffrage!
- swedishfishing, on 03/31/2008, -0/+3fringe? are you joking? she's probably one of the most respected writers of her generation
- pegisys, on 03/31/2008, -1/+4I see a lot of people don't care, but Alice Walker has a strong feminist following and many women will vote for who she says too.
Also Ron Paul will never support Obama. Never! - Hyperion1144, on 03/31/2008, -2/+5In the defense of us Alice Walker Ignorant people... That is a pretty common name, a little hard to Google. It's like "okay.... WHICH Alice Walker are they talking about???"
PS: Thanks for the wiki link! - pezoamo, on 03/31/2008, -3/+6Is it over yet?
- malex, on 03/31/2008, -3/+6Dugg for hilarious paranoia!
- TheSwashbuckler, on 03/31/2008, -2/+5Who cares?
- 0zzy, on 03/31/2008, -1/+4I point out flaws, and I get dugg down. A flawless man in a democratic society, is this possible?
