- stevetrojanman, on 10/19/2007, -27/+92It's the damn right-wing hate machine! It's all one big conspiracy to silence the voice that is Air America!...what's that? we're not being broadcast anymore? nobody's listening? THE RIGHT WING HATE MACHINE STRIKES AGAIN! Some people are nuts.
- Neiby, on 10/19/2007, -25/+70This is proof that there are just as many stupid people on the left as there are on the right. Stupidity knows no political bounds.
Besides, does anyone really think that conservatives care enough about Air America to mug a radio host? No one listens to Air America! - SwingCorey, on 11/12/2007, -17/+51I wonder when the Air America host will apologize for accusing right-wingers as muggers and censors...
I'm guessing I'll be waiting a while.... - Thergrim, on 10/19/2007, -13/+46If this was a thread about a Right-wing female media personality it would be loaded with comments that implied threats of bodily harm, sexual deviance, and racist stereotypes. (example -> http://digg.com/politics/Malkin_Quits_The_O_Reilly ... )
- Troika37, on 10/19/2007, -8/+37The problem we have, dave, is that you don't support equal rights for all. You support equal rights for all who support your viewpoint. Do you want the Minutemen speaking on campuses? Do you support Dinesh D'Souza's right to lecture at a college to which he was invited? Is it permissible, in your view, for veterans of Iraq to speak out in favour of the war without being attacked?
Fiscal responsibility? Like increasing government spending through exorbidant taxes? You blame the government for its response to Katrina, yet want the same government responsible for the healthcare of you and your children. Explain that to me.
That's why we call you intolerant. You refuse to tolerate those who don't support your lockstep march towards socialism. - Savage24, on 10/19/2007, -5/+30We've all heard the saying "A lie will get around the world before the truth gets out of bed" Enough said.
- DreadPirate, on 10/19/2007, -8/+32MightyDaveFish - how about the frequent attacks on any conservative speaker that comes to talk at a college? They get attacked with pies, shouted down, and their presentations disrupted all the time - that doesn't sound like really tolerant behavior, but is sadly typical of liberals these days.
- Troika37, on 10/19/2007, -3/+26Um, the POLICE REPORT doesn't strike you as something you could accept at face value?
Either way, how's this:
http://www.newsday.com/news/local/wire/newyork/ny- ... - makhtar, on 10/19/2007, -3/+24The source, the New York Daily News, has nothing to do with Rupert Murdoch. News Corp owns a rival, The New York Post. I would be skeptical of Matthew720's posts and flawed logic.
- datastorageguy, on 10/19/2007, -4/+25My personal favorite:
"What the %$#$ is WRONG with you people?? Are you that SICK in the head that just because you don’t agree with someone’s political views you believe that they deserve to be mugged? Are you on the right that DEMENTED??," a blogger called neddlenosehanty posted on watchingthewatchers.org."
Sounds like a typical bonehead Digger response. - these3remain, on 10/24/2007, -11/+31I guess as soon as Al Sharptongue apologizes to the Duke lacrosse players.
- Demaskee, on 10/19/2007, -7/+26The funny thing is nobody got this information from actually listening to it on Air America. Thanks again Matt Drudge.
- Neiby, on 10/18/2007, -4/+23The retraction just further illustrates that guys idiocy. Someone falls down and hits their head, and this guy's first reaction is to assume that she was accosted by a member of the "right-wing hate machine"? WTF? This guy is a nutjob. Liberals would be laughing their asses off if a conservative host had done something similar.
- Troika37, on 10/20/2007, -5/+23Or the Minutemen, Dinesh D'Souza, Ayn Rand, and Iraq veterans, all of whom were forbidden to speak - and some violently attacked - at Columbia University.
- bubba9999, on 10/19/2007, -4/+22Maybe it was a conservative banana peel left on the sidewalk.
- Troika37, on 10/24/2007, -9/+26Or when GWU apologizes to the Young Americans for Freedom. What is this, twice in one week that the right has been blamed for a horrible event that either did not occur at all or was (by their own admission) committed by those on the left?
- inactive, on 10/19/2007, -15/+32Forgive me if I'm mistaking you, but I believe you're a 9/11 Truther. Anyone who believes in that horse ***** really shouldn't be calling others stupid.
- Troika37, on 10/19/2007, -1/+17Since we're playing the copy/paste mulitple post game, here's my response, again.
Um, the POLICE REPORT doesn't strike you as something you could accept at face value?
Either way, how's this:
http://www.newsday.com/news/local/wire/newyork/ny- ... - these3remain, on 10/20/2007, -33/+49Yawn. I suppose the left has been gracious and tolerant toward Rush, Coulter and Hannity. The concept that this was a hate-crime could only originate from the mindless , hate spewing, angry, hypocritical left - tolerant of anything and anybody as long as they agree with them. Silence the voice of Air(brained) America? I don't think so - you don't see conservatives making false accusations in front of congress against Air(head) America's Hanoi Hannah's talkshow hosts nor the mainstream media (controlled by the left) being outraged over anti-christian comments attributable to libs. It's absolutely ludicrous to think that any one would bother committing a violent act against a talkshow host that they didn't agree with; unless, of course, you are a liberal. Then it would be consistent with their party-line of intolerance and hatred.
- DreadPirate, on 10/18/2007, -1/+17This is the fifth time you have posted this same comment! It was wrong the first time, and it is still wrong the fifth time. Buried for complete and utter stupidity.
- schroeder, on 10/19/2007, -1/+17If it were Randy Rhodes, he'd rock so hard the mugger's head would explode!!!
- SiNN4R, on 10/19/2007, -2/+17Sounds kinda like digg.
- ThinkBox, on 10/19/2007, -4/+18I turned it on, and listened to some woman for a good hour.
She was just annoying, didn't have a good radio presence, and she just used cheesy sound effects when she talked about Bush... without substance to her comments. She said maybe 3 or 4 actual things in that hour. All the callers were boring or just agreed with each other back and forth that revolved around matters of opinion, not political policy or even news.
That is why I didnt keep listening - Crusader1145, on 10/19/2007, -5/+19You want examples of left wing violence and intimidation? How about looking at virtually any campus event that dares host a conservative speaker? Conservative speakers have to have security when they give talks on campus because of the oh so peaceful and tolerant left that doesn't want to hear anything that doesn't agree with them. Or how about any WTO meeting? Rioting, vandalism, etc. Yup, no evidence of left wing violence or intimidation.
- Demaskee, on 10/19/2007, -10/+23Thank You Air America! Nobody outs the libs better then yourselves.
- Coven, on 10/19/2007, -1/+13and once again, Murdoch owns the NY Post, not the Daily News.
- PopcornDave, on 10/19/2007, -10/+22I'm still curious why there was no quote from the Air America host, who spewed the rumor, dispelling said rumor.
/semi sarcasm - DreadPirate, on 10/19/2007, -3/+15Give me a break? Mockery? Is it mockery when a presenter is shouted down and not allowed to present his views? To most normal intelligent people, that would be called censorship, and it happens frequently to conservative presenters. You liberals would certainly be screaming censorship and hate crimes were the same to happen to any one of your people who came to a college campus to present or discuss an issue. But of course when it happens to conservatives, you liberals don't count it as censorship, but justifiable in some pathetic way.
- SiNN4R, on 10/19/2007, -6/+18Yeah at two in the morning Air America totally kicks the ass of all the other politically biased infomercials.
- mdwhite, on 10/19/2007, -5/+17Jon Elliott... what an ass.
- inactive, on 10/19/2007, -3/+15http://www.newsday.com/news/local/wire/newyork/ny- ...
He already did. Disappointed? - smoothmedia, on 10/19/2007, -7/+18There seems to be no shortage of "jump to conclusions mats" on both wings of the blogosphere.
- DreadPirate, on 10/19/2007, -6/+17As opposed to idiots like you, Matthew720, who keep pasting the same INCORRECT comment 3+ times in same thread? That's really damn intelligent too.
- relaxeder, on 04/17/2009, -0/+11Come on, dude. That's not right.
- PopcornDave, on 10/19/2007, -4/+14I stand corrected. It's nice to see them do the right thing.
http://www.newsday.com/news/local/wire/newyork/ny- ... - BottledSunshine, on 10/19/2007, -9/+19I'm not sure how reliable this is but this guy said she had a few too many bloody mary's.
http://gawker.com/news/developing/was-talk-show-ho ... - stevetrojanman, on 10/19/2007, -3/+13Yeah...saw that...freakin classic...
As I said in my first post, some people are nuts...that person was one of them - airiox, on 10/19/2007, -0/+9If you are going to call someone a disgusting name, be man enough to actually use it without cartoonish censoring.
- Demaskee, on 10/19/2007, -5/+14Hey at least they were nice to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
- inactive, on 10/19/2007, -19/+28I guess this means she will stay a Liberal.
After all, Conservatives are just Liberals who have been mugged.
LOL! - inactive, on 10/18/2007, -5/+14And they wonder why no one listens to Air America. They can't even get the news right when it happens to one of their staffers. This kind of thing destroys their credibility.
- mattyG, on 10/19/2007, -7/+16Um we could talk about the supposedly "peaceful" anti-war rallies where protesters always shout out and push pro-war people around. We could also talk about harassing pro-lifers who are standing silently.
- inactive, on 10/18/2007, -1/+10Maybe he meant Main Stream News? You know the M and N are next to each other on the keyboard?
Damn, way to jump all over someone over a stupid typo. Take a break from your computer and relax douchebag. - techweenie1, on 10/19/2007, -11/+20You libs need to stop projecting on to conservatives.. it's your "FAIRness Doctrine," attempt that is trying to muzzle people you don't agree with, not some imaginary right-wing fascist who is prowling the streets of New York looking to take out every liberal and their dog that you pulled out of your ass.
- dn11, on 10/19/2007, -4/+12i should have remembered not to click on political stories on digg anymore, and especially not to read the comments... too late. wtf happend to this place
- jackkerouac, on 10/19/2007, -5/+13Anyone who goes to Daily Kos on a regular basis is a ***** moron.
- inactive, on 10/19/2007, -5/+13So she's a simplistic paranoid . . . if she were sane, she'd not be liberal.
- spudhead, on 10/17/2007, -1/+9I'm not sure which side has more stupid people. It seems to me the stupid people are those who try to split the world into left and right.
- Monk22, on 10/19/2007, -1/+9Hey libs, just so you know, asshats like matthew720 are why no one takes you seriously, cares what you think, or agrees with your cause.
