Really, where the hell did you get 13%??? Fox News? - laterthandawn, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6328%...wow...how the hell is it still that high?
- masgrada, on 10/12/2007, -5/+54^ Yup. Damn reality and it's liberal bias.
- carpespasm, on 10/12/2007, -4/+50where the hell you pull that number out of your ass?
- david76, on 10/12/2007, -2/+48Clinton's approval rating never dipped below 40%.

Okay, here's a bunch of sources about Clinton's approval at the end of his term:

Even that bastion of liberal though, The Wall Street Journal (sarcasm for 28% of you) shows that Clinton had approval in the 60s when he left office. Now, please provide a link or to about that 13% number. Or did you hear it from Rush or Brit Hume? - masgrada, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3613% among your stubborn republican friends.
- reiner15, on 10/12/2007, -6/+36It's starting to be like the limbo... how low can you goooooooooo...
- riverrunner, on 10/12/2007, -5/+32@klipab. care to cite a source? didn't think so.
I guess there will always be stubborn, arrogant, war mongering, people just like W who will support him no matter what. - eriksanerd, on 10/12/2007, -2/+27Coincidentally, studies have also shown that 28% of americans have irreparable brain damage.
- wjglenn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+25longest peace-time economic expansion in US history. 'Nuff said.
- Dumbledorito, on 10/12/2007, -1/+25@AntBing: Why is it that when something "conservatives" (and I use that term loosely) favor(ed) is suddenly not favored by the public anymore, the reason is that "bashing [X] has become the cool thing to do?"
Has it ever occurred to you that an idea might be wrong or that a given politician you liked has turned out to be doing a phenomenally bad job? - LBTS, on 10/12/2007, -2/+23JCSaint, there is no link to the 13%, they're just trying to blow smoke up everybody's butt. That's all they have left: ***** lies.
- orbit1979, on 10/12/2007, -3/+24"where the hell you pull that number out of your ass?"
Fox "News" apparently. - cfpresley, on 10/12/2007, -1/+22I guess he was right, Bush will leave a legacy.
- jonjon602, on 10/12/2007, -4/+24@ klipab as i recall clinton left the whitehouse with a really high rating
- therealrico, on 10/12/2007, -2/+21I don't think his approval rating can get any lower, because there is about 28 percent that will vote for republican regardless of what is happening. But hey there is still plenty of time before now and the end of his presidency to find out.
- torched, on 10/12/2007, -2/+20Its safe to say that 1/4 of the people believe that if you don't agree 100% with the president than you are a terrorist and anti-american.
- LBTS, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18the wrongside said: "Its hilarious how people on here hate FOX News so much because FOX is fair and balanced and AL Qaida supporting diggers have no voice on Fox news."
Are you sure about that? It would appear that Bush and Fox Views are Osama and al Qaeda sympathizers and supporters. Bush has publicly stated he could care less if they capture Osama, preferring to give him a free ride for killing 3000 Americans. And isn't it Bush and his Fox Views homies who continually push this occupation on us while fully knowing it will strengthen al Qaeda?
Makes one wonder which side Fox and Bush are actually on, huh? - abanana, on 10/12/2007, -2/+19Most people forget that Harry Truman was run out of office with his approval ratings somewhere in the low teens. His biggest blunder was in the way he handled the striking steel workers situation. I find it hilarious that 28% of americans still support Bush when he is directly responsible for starting a war and causing the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people. (or tens of thousands depending on who you get your news from)
BTW since Truman only two presidents have ever had their approval rating go up from start of their presidency to the end; Gerald Ford (figure that one out) and Bill Clinton, and Clinton's went up massively. Even the conservatives beloved Ronald Reagan's went down considerably over the course of his presidency.
Also, its funny when conservatives use the word liberal like its some terrible thing. Bush has spent an unbelievable amount of money in his presidency, created many ***** new departments and expanded the scope of the federal government more than any "liberal" president in the past few decades. - maehem, on 10/12/2007, -2/+18Seems to indicate to me that 28% of the US population is of impared mental ability and can't make intellegent conclusions even when presented with overwhelming evidence.
- chicoer2001, on 10/12/2007, -3/+19Hey Rudy! Is he still a great president?
- PhilMoskowitz, on 10/12/2007, -3/+18If he doesn't end up in jail the soul of your country is lost.
- skyfire1, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14Someone suck this guy's wiener quick!
- bjornski, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13You're right.
The rest of the world just HATED Clinton.
He was the best damn diplomat we've ever had, moron. - bjornski, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12He won't resign.
Malignant growths have to be removed. - crimsonnblue, on 10/12/2007, -3/+14@therealrico.
I disagree, I would probably of vouched for him 3 or 4 years ago because I am mainly conservative, but he would never get my vote again. Niether would any other Bush for that matter. - annonimality, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10@ bowl
"He's right, Clinton did have a 13% approval at the end of his term. Wikipedia has been exposed plenty of times as a liberal front when it comes to political info, so for you idiots linking to wiki wake up and realize it's not in any way a reliable souce. but dont try telling that to a lib defending their hero Slick willy!"
So where the hell is your source? - ilovethissite, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13With all the mistakes this administration has made for the past 6 years, I'm surprised President Bush hasn't resigned yet.
Just want to add that the bill that Congress pushed to him that covered the war spending that had a troop withdraw clause in it that he so venally vetoed also carried the national minimum wage increase that was promised last year, and so now with that being shot down, $5.15 an hour shall survive for a couple more years for people making their wages. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11On a personal note, he has a 0% approval rating with me.
- TheNepenthe, on 10/12/2007, -3/+12I was more so reading about the whole part on how this is effecting the next elections. Because of his actions, the Republican party might not have a chance. We all obviously know that most of America does not approve of Bush. It's making this election extremely interesting.
Not only that, the leading democrat is a woman. :/ Kinda historic, I'd think. - dolphumous, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8'Web exclusive'
Does that mean "We don't want to say this on TV." ? - mos6507, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Which is why we need a viable third party.
- bjornski, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10Rudy will say anything you want to hear. That man has more flip-flops in him than a Chinese shoe factory.
Oh, and Rudy, question for ya, oh great 9/11 savior.
How are those first responders doing? - pintomp3, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8the soul of our country is not lost, it was sold.
- JCSaint, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9I submitted this a short while after the rawstory one was submitted. I still submitted this one because I thought it would be better to have the original source. While I enjoy Raw Story from time to time, I hate their format since they either paraphrase articles without providing a link to the original source or they provide the other website in their frame.
- Webbster, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9"It's starting to be like the limbo... how low can you goooooooooo..."
Meh... He can go lower. Still plenty of time. - globalstomp, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Bush is already so low he has to reach up to touch bottom the number is meaningless. It only shows that some Americans still don't realize the true scope and nature of the Bush crime family syndicate.
- bglodde, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6It is those 28% who frighten the hell out of me :)
- mos6507, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8He's doing us a favor. You want Cheney to take over?
- globalstomp, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7He stole the presidency we didn't elect him and I sure didn't vote for the criminal and that doesn't mean we have to put up with it for another year or even another day......
- dippyskoodlez, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6I know one of this "28%".
It is indeed scary. - stepnw1f, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5@globalstomp,
That's another lie. The truth about raising the minumum wage is more people can afford to spend more while providing themselves with the necessities to survive. Crime goes down and education standards rise, while at the same time, we generate more brilliant folks who innovate, therein creating more markets. What you support strangles the economy, prevents competition and stifles real growth from ever reaching a permanent lower class. The incestuous nature of keeping wealth at the top historically results in corruption, mediocrity and decadence. Finally you have an aristocracy where the wealthy get wealthier, on the backs of the poor earning near slave wages. Nice way to treat your own Americans, while destroying a Democracy.- /sarcasm - bsmang, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4In this case they're pretty close. Still need to go lower though to match up.
- blaze4metal, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4@therightside
"Wow!! Further proof that most people in America are idiots and have no clue how the world works."
No, the 2004 elections were further proof that most people in America are idiots and have no clue how the world works. - bjbollinger, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6chimpeach
- bvnay, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Im from India. When we got news that Clinton was visiting India, all the major cities primed themselves up, cleaned up the streets, and decorated the whole damn place. I was there.
When Bush visited, people organized rallies about the war criminal. Clinton is probably the best president modern America has ever seen. - ipodman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3
Don't understand why they keep polling the same old people who don't support him... - DTJunkie07, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I think they are confusing the 28% with the undecided vote
