- inactive, on 06/29/2008, -8/+39The REAL Manchurian Candidate.
- marabout40, on 06/29/2008, -7/+37Many Arizona Republicans are upset with McCain..."The guy has no core, his only principle is winning the presidency. He likes to call his campaign the 'straight talk express.' Well, down here we call it the 'forked tongue express.'"
McCain's botched revenge has solidified his reputation in Arizona's Republican circles as a divisive, untrustworthy and even dangerous figure. Haney hopes the general public meets this side of McCain before his penchant for angry reprisals is invested with the powers of the presidency. "This just shows that McCain is mentally unstable and out of control and vindictive," Haney told me. "If he is determined to go through that much trouble to attack a district committee chairman, what does that say about his ability to handle real political problems?" - btschul, on 06/29/2008, -6/+15The fact that the has a record of cussing out people and starting fights over bills and stuff should have tipped most people off. That, and the fact that he called his wife a *****.
- FTWmovin2canada, on 06/29/2008, -9/+18This is also pretty disturbing, he doesn't know who is in charge in Iran: http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/McCain_doesn_t_k ...
- klasikahl, on 06/30/2008, -1/+8I don't think calling McCain out on his inability to be a decent human being qualifies as "swiftboating." I think that in order for something to truly be swiftboating, it has to either be without merit or entirely unrelated to the candidates ability to carry out presidential duties. Claiming that Obama is a Muslim who was sworn in on a Quran is more akin to swiftboating than saying that McCain is a hot head who shouldn't be dealing with the stress of the presidency.
- inactive, on 06/30/2008, -3/+9It's not Digg's fault that the right wing's terrible policies have resulted in their being tremendously unpopular.
- btschul, on 06/30/2008, -1/+7While there is a chance that it is false, it was actually 3 independent sources who all told the exact same story.
- TheMachine1, on 06/30/2008, -1/+5The biggest problem with McCain is he has not distanced himself from Bush enough. The election will come down to a vote for major change verses the stay the coarse message of McCain.
- Chestnutridge, on 06/30/2008, -2/+5Nonsense. He was born in the Panama Canal Zone, the son of a U.S. Navy officer (and his wife) who was stationed there. It has always been understood that this qualifies one to be classified as a "native born" citizen AS IT SHOULD BE.
To claim he is not a citizen is absurd. - onyxcoltrane, on 06/29/2008, -2/+4Hmm, I'm curious what Obama has to do with Bush's plans for Iran.
- inactive, on 06/30/2008, -1/+3btschul - watch the movie then you will get it
/facepalm - dagnabbit, on 06/30/2008, -1/+3Incorrect.
- fuzzybeard, on 06/30/2008, -1/+2An honest intellect is unafraid to listen to differing, even opposing viewpoints. This is call "gaining perspective"; which is (IMO) a lynchpin of Wisdom. Your statement stoops below their level and makes you look like an arrogant ass. This works to their advantage, "Lookit the liberal *****!" they say; sad part is that THEY ARE RIGHT!
/liberal, to a point. Beyond that...it really isn't your concern. - fuzzybeard, on 06/30/2008, -1/+2*facepalm* I wonder how many candidates for the Presidency could pass the written test given to naturalizing immigrants?
- inactive, on 06/29/2008, -3/+4and you say that because.... ?
i bet you couldnt even define the word liberal without googling it. - btschul, on 06/29/2008, -4/+5/Sarcasm? Mabye?
- solistus, on 06/30/2008, -0/+1Coarse is an adjective, so it doesn't work.
- gelato822, on 06/30/2008, -3/+4OH NO!!!!! Not a leader who could wreck the country for decades if thrown into power by the putty minds who elect him!!! Oh wait. Bush.
- practical22, on 07/26/2008, -0/+1His history is one of an out of control rage machine. His current factual errors on all things from who the enemy is, the location of Iraq and Pakistan, the timing of events in Iraq means he is unfit to run a country. It is an obscenity that we should have two sociopaths back to back ruining this country. McCain is temperamentally, emotionally, intellectually totally unqualified for any management role.
- tcbishop12, on 06/30/2008, -1/+2McCain is a hot head and a smart ass. And a revengeful guy stuck in the drama of personal intrigue. Not good temperament for leadership, and no one I want near the nuclear launch codes.
- MrGold79, on 06/30/2008, -4/+5this made me look up alzheimers on wikipedia
- solistus, on 06/30/2008, -1/+2Abuse, lol. Obama has been maintaining around a 7-10 point lead, sometimes as high as 16 in polls against McCain. It's not abuse; we just outnumber you.
- solistus, on 06/30/2008, -1/+2Hate mongering because he doesn't like Joe ***** Lieberman? You must be joking.
- solistus, on 06/30/2008, -1/+1course*
- solistus, on 06/30/2008, -1/+1ROFL, brokenspatula is out of line with his made up garbage.
I like how you refer to the site that hosts this person's political blog as the editorial source of the blog's content. Really shows a deep understanding of the source you just read... Oh wait, you probably didn't. - madfrogurt, on 06/30/2008, -1/+1First: check my profile: I'm voting for Obama in November.
This article is total *****. Its use of exaggeration and selective quoting of a minority of GOP members is not worthy of actual journalism. The title of the digg link is even more out of context: it's quoting from someone referring to political bickering in Arizona's Republican party. I know the current smear against him is that he's got Alzheimer's, so of course the title gains attention and diggs immediately.
McCain has enough going against him coming up in November: his support of the Iraq war, his ties to Bush's failed policies, and his admitted lack in knowledge about the economy. Let's focus on the real issues so that this election cycle we're not fighting over whether McCain is insane or Obama is a Muslim. - inactive, on 06/30/2008, -2/+23 independent sources all using the same single SOURCE. One guy heard it....go check your resources.
- solistus, on 06/30/2008, -2/+2McCain has the support of about 1/3 of voters. Obama has more than half. Digg also has international numbers, and virtually nobody outside the US likes McCain over Obama. There's a reason it's harder to get conservative political stories to the front page; there are a lot fewer people who agree with them. Welcome to Digg.
- TheMachine1, on 06/30/2008, -1/+1Damn I suck at English. But I think either word works.
- kyledeb, on 06/29/2008, -9/+9Very good time for a first time diary.
- inactive, on 06/30/2008, -1/+1...and tea with Hitler was graceful...
- Fishn2, on 06/29/2008, -6/+6John McCain is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I've ever known in my life.
- inactive, on 06/30/2008, -4/+4" Obama is an extremist liberal"
Really? I'm a leftist. Which policies of Senator Obama are leftist? Can you convince me to vote for him? - chaoswings, on 06/30/2008, -1/+1What are you talking about? Both sides mud sling and no one laid down any rules. It's just that the side with the majority tends to win out.
- tcbishop12, on 06/30/2008, -1/+1The actual issue is not whether McCain has distanced himself from Bush, but rather, whether McCain can. I do not think he can distance himself from Bush, given his own record and pronouncements -- to use McCain's own statement -- as to how McCain has "agreed with Bush on every transcendant issue"
- ethornquist, on 06/30/2008, -3/+2McCain bites the head off live bats. Oh, wait, that's Ozzy. ; )
- omgTHEPATRIOTS, on 06/30/2008, -4/+3shut up, neocon scumbag. your opinions are INVALID
- Dralha, on 06/30/2008, -8/+6McWar is a ***** lunatic.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v386/Artorius/mc ... - inactive, on 06/30/2008, -4/+2There is ONE guy who says McCain said that about his wife and it is not at all believable.
- klasikahl, on 06/30/2008, -7/+4I have never seen you say ANYTHING positive on digg. In fact, any time I see your name next to a comment that comment is usually hate-filled, barely coherent, anti-Jewish or anti-Israeli baseless trash. I think you should keep your hate mongering slime to yourself.
- inactive, on 06/30/2008, -6/+2We have to band together here on Digg.com if you want to stop it. It is nearly impossible to get Republicans and Conservatives together on Digg. I know I've been trying like mad to befriend many many many people but nobody wants to do anything and as long as you are going to sit back and let the stories reach the front page DON'T COMPLAIN.
It takes a team of individuals on Digg to do anything. Barr is already getting stories on the front page. - inactive, on 06/30/2008, -5/+1 America how are yah?
- mntbikeracer1, on 06/30/2008, -11/+6So is Digg becoming the Fox News of online liberal media? I swear voting these mudslinging ***** stories to the top makes you no better than the douche bags like O'Reilly you all love to bash.
- poprocksandsoda, on 06/29/2008, -12/+6Another liberal mass-vote to get their stories to the top. Until Digg cracks down on this abuse I can see no way they will ever be acquired. If I'm a liberal media outlet why do I need to buy Digg when I can just flock vote my ideas to the top of the pile?
- brokenspatula, on 06/30/2008, -12/+6ROFL, dailykos is out of line with their made up garbage
- inactive, on 06/29/2008, -17/+9McCain's job is to clear the way for President Joe Lieberman, the Manchurian candidate incarnate.
- inactive, on 06/30/2008, -10/+2McCain is not a legitimate candidate. He's a Panamanian national by birth, which excludes him from holding the office of the presidency.
- inactive, on 06/29/2008, -12/+4Aye Captain Obama, firing all guns on the USS Swiftboat.
- mcm297, on 06/29/2008, -16/+7COMMON SENSE DEPT: Obama is an extremist liberal who could wreck the country for decades if thrown into power by the putty minds who elect him.
What is Digg?
