Bachmann riled up these idiots and psychopaths. I said when she said what she did it would lead to a census taker being killed or hurt. - zephyear, on 09/23/2009, -9/+28nice job, glenn beck
- AgeofMastery, on 09/23/2009, -2/+19Just seconds to late to edit my post, AP has updated the story
http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5 ... - ironhide, on 09/23/2009, -3/+18Another "isolated incident" eh?
- inactive, on 09/23/2009, -8/+19Glenn Beck, Michelle Bachman and Ron Paul bring ***** like this out from under their rocks. They should go to prison for this. I forgot that jackass pastor that breeds hate as well.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVemYhWSFPM - zephyear, on 09/23/2009, -3/+13What does heavy metal have to do with teenage drinking? Nothing.
What does Glenn Beck have to do with this? He encourages violent action against the government constantly on his radio and tv shows. - Maddoktor2, on 09/23/2009, -5/+14More blood on right wing hands.
- dgoshilla, on 09/24/2009, -1/+8The right wing idiocracy will soon be a thing of the past. We'll look back at these "citizens" with embarrassment. We'll tell our grandkids about the time when these uneducated white supremacists voted for a woman named Palin that spoke in tongues and believed volunteering for your town was really an army to take over the country. What a joke. Get out of this country.
- inactive, on 09/24/2009, -1/+7@Billy:
THat's right brother! No taxation without representation dammit!
Except, oh wait... you do have representation. Nevermind... you're not a patriot, just a murderous idiot. - inactive, on 09/24/2009, -2/+7Of course Jassman. You don't agree with it, therefore it's tyranny. Ironically you're accusing others of "following the herd" when that's the same thing you're doing. It's just that your herd is ***** nuts.
- treehugger87, on 09/24/2009, -0/+5You're right, Billy, a bunch of cowards murdering an unarmed census worker because their AM radio told them to is basically the same as running a British tax collector out of town in 1775. I'd feel sorry for you people if you weren't doing so much harm.
- dgoshilla, on 09/24/2009, -2/+7The idiocracy is strong in this one. The census is in the Constitution. Love it or leave it.
- Solkre, on 09/24/2009, -2/+6Hold on guys, they're still investigating... It could be a suicide!
Like all those depressed black folks who committed suicide by hanging in the past. /s - dgoshilla, on 09/24/2009, -1/+5If tyranny means a free and real education system with top notch schools for kids of all ages, neighborhoods and colors, healthcare that doesn't cause 60% of bankruptcies and doesn't cost 3x as much as in the rest of the world, an end to unjust and irresponsible wars, a place where $700 billion isn't given to banks but is given to Credit Unions that provide for their community and consumer and not ripping off Americans, where Green Industry and a carbon tax are seen as the future and not "Al Gore's lies", and where suburbia is seen as a vast wasteland tearing apart this country then yes, I'll have "tyranny" any day over what this country has been the last 8 years.
Holy crap, the census with a whole 2 new questions added in 10 years. FEAR IT FEAR IT FEAR IT!!!!!!! You are ***** delusional.

Dulce Bellum Inexpertis. - inactive, on 09/24/2009, -0/+4If heavy metal lyrics routinely and repeatedly decried the practice of sober driving you'd have a point. But they don't, so you don't.
- inactive, on 09/24/2009, -0/+3To be fair, Ron Paul may attract the crazy but he doesn't encourage it the way Beck and Bachmann do.
- treehugger87, on 09/24/2009, -0/+3You're right, hate crime laws have totally led to the erosion of American civilization as we knew it. Drunk rednecks would never commit crimes if it weren't for hate crime laws.
- fiatjustitia, on 09/24/2009, -3/+4This is only the beginning. They're gonna get worse, and we all know it.
- treehugger87, on 09/24/2009, -3/+4Does anyone else get the distinct impression that the right wing propaganda machine wants blood in the streets?
- treehugger87, on 09/24/2009, -1/+2That's one way to look at it, I suppose. If this plays out like we all think it's going to play out, the guilty party - or parties - is going to be nearly as much of a victim in this as the dead census worker. He or she will have acted at the behest of those who would destroy our country with propaganda, fear and hate.
- facsimilesmiles, on 09/25/2009, -0/+1Yep, he totally scrawled "FED" on his chest before hanging himself. Did he also beat himself up first, do you think?
- Pizza_Hutte, on 09/24/2009, -1/+2As someone who worked as a census follow up agent 9 years ago, this worried me a little. I was looking forward to doing it again next year, it was a fun job. I didn't work the best area of town, but I only had one person threaten me, and only a few more suspect me of working for the police.
- Diefree, on 09/24/2009, -0/+1Right and the constant lies and fearmongering from Michele Bachmann and Beck had nothing to do with it huh? You can't be that dim. What they say is protected by freedom of speech and it should be, but that doesn't mean freedom from us stating the obvious which is, if this turns out to be the motive, they have blood on their hands. Just like O'Reily and Operation Rescue has Tiller's blood on their hands.
- gnixon70, on 09/24/2009, -0/+1Not dim, just a believer of people being responsible for their actions.
Did beck or bachmann suggest that they hang a man and inscribe "fed" on their chest? I'd like to see the video of that episode if its so.
It's the same bs that people try when they sue a bartender because someone crashed their car after leaving their establishment.
It's called personal accountability. The "devil made me do it" defense doesn't wash with me - Diefree, on 09/24/2009, -0/+1I agree but I also believe in holding people responsible for their words. Legally nothing should happen to them but I hope Beck's show gets canceled and Bachmann is voted out over this. I agree they have the right to say their lies and fearmongering but that doesn't mean they are free from public backlash. Their fearmongering is what lead to this in my belief.
http://mediamatters.org/research/200906250045 - buckrogers1965, on 09/24/2009, -1/+1I dugg you down, Ron Paul is 100% against violence against the federal government, he thinks it serves an important function, just that it should be smaller.
- buckrogers1965, on 09/24/2009, -2/+2Or you could just do what I do and list the names and ages of everyone in the house, and then just write "None of your business" in big letters on the rest of the document.
Most of the questions they ask would be better served with random surveys of a few thousand people. Statistics does work and it saves a fortune. - FriarZero, on 09/24/2009, -1/+1@Jassman
The census is voluntary. No one is being forced to provide information about themselves to the government. - gnixon70, on 09/24/2009, -2/+1No, the blood is on the hand's of the one's that actually did the act. Stop trying to blame everyone except the one that actually did this.
- gnixon70, on 09/24/2009, -2/+1A lot of people seem to like to blame this on everyone except the one's that actually did the action. Typical "the devil made me do it" defense.
- r0b1, on 09/24/2009, -6/+2I smell hate crime. Someone call Reverend Al immediately!
- Jassman, on 09/24/2009, -10/+4The 2010 census has gone through a huge transformation. It takes a lot more data than they used to ask for. "The idiocracy is strong in this one". You represent the idiocracy, the follow-the-herd mentality. Are you completely blind to the United States' descent into tyranny?
- foucaultsvac, on 09/23/2009, -15/+4You probably think "heavy metal" music causes teenage drinking, right?
- BillyBlue96, on 09/24/2009, -14/+2I bet this is what it sounded like around 1775 when illegal tax collectors and British agents were getting hung and run out of town. The collaborators were remembered after 1776 and dealt with accordingly.
