ACTION ALERT: Say No to Another Year of War!
unitedforpeace.org — Last month in an historic vote, the House of Representatives turned down a bill that would have appropriated an additional $162.5 billion to continue the war and occupation in Iraq until next summer. Because the Senate voted in favor of the funding, the House will be voting on this request again, as early as this Friday, June 6.
