Giving what the Bush administration what they want ( a blank check) from Congress would be like giving a Platinum American Express credit card to your shopholic teenage daughter and let her shop on Rodeo Drive. Enough is enough, it is time to make a stand.

I'm not saying I agree with that because, in principal, I'd much rather see a race between Obama, Barr, and Paul where there is no McCain - this would give a lot more for Americans to mull over. However, the fact remains that McCain is the opponent to beat.

- thepoliticalcat, on 09/26/2008, -0/+1McCain may have rushed back to DC for medical consultation and just put that crap out there to hide the state of his health. Look at his recent pictures. The left side of his face is drooping noticeably and his left eye is smaller than his right. This could be anything from the relatively trivial Bell's Palsy to a metastasized brain tumour from those melanomas he had removed. Or lung cancer. Why did he need a $5,500 makeup artist? Something stinks here.
