911 operator: 'I don't give a sh*t what happens to you'
rawstory.com — A Nashville woman who waited hours for someone to respond to her call to 911 emergency services didn't hear the worst part of the call. After Sheila Jones hung up the phone, a local news reporter found that one 911 operator said, "I really just don't give a ***** what happens to you."

- ZZeke, on 05/14/2008, -0/+2maybe you could post the actual story link, so we can digg that, too?
- MarkEarhart, on 05/14/2008, -0/+5Sad to say, but you can't depend on law enforcement any more than you can the corrupt politicians in DC. I hope that this poor lady is prepared to defend herself in the future. My advice, buy a 12 gauge shotgun, saw off the barrel, and load it with 3" .00 buckshot. That will take care of anything that tries to come through the door, including corrupt uninvited cops.

- entity3sf, on 05/15/2008, -0/+2The quality of policing isn't the same in all places, but in each place, there seems to be either most bad or most very professional. I've lived in a number of cities - small and large. The Bay area has the most professional police forces in my experience.
