I have spent many years reading, learning and researching in a law library and have come across treasonous law reviews revealing plans on how the mattoids would overthrow American jurisprudence. From that point on, I saw what was happening around me differently, much more informed, and became much more disappointed at what I saw. Now I am ashamed and very disappointed in the American people, and for their lack of knowledge they shall perish.

See how long it takes for the pajama people to call the cops, whimper and "complain"..I encourage fellow Americans to do the same. I'd rather listen to that than teeth-shattering fireworks exploding like gunfire and bombs going off for hours. Maybe make a party out of it.

America has been hi-jacked, bought & sold out to the highest bidder. Do we even have a Bill of Rights anymore? Elected officials and government have their own agenda with little concern for their citizenry. They spit on the Constitution and Declaration of Independence. Instead of protecting and preserving our freedoms and personal liberty, they legislate them away at the stroke of a pen. Our 'democratic' elections are rigged with candidates pre-decided, scripted and chosen by a controlled media TV network, not the people. We have excessive out of control taxation without representation. Rampant government scandals and fraud with nobody held accountable or doing prison time as they should be. Government in collusion with 'oil cartel' gas and petroleum corporations on a rigged pricing scheme at our expense. Billions of taxpayer dollars per month on an unnecessary hostile corporate takeover (war) overseas that is tanking the economy and bankrupting the country. Over 1.5 million Iraq civilians murdered, over 4.5 million displaced refugees from a PNAC war for profit. Over 4000 slaughtered US troops and service people, 1000s more maimed, PTSD'd and limbless for life. We were fed lies to trick America into perpetual war. 6 years later, we're still there. No end in sight. This is Independence?
This isn't what our America is about, or should be about. At all.
Since when has the lying administration been accountable for anything? Since when have they had to answer to anybody but themselves? We now have a government that is for the government, by the government and of the government (preamble). We have a dictator in office who is above the law, does as he pleases with ZERO accountability and does not follow the Constitution that he swore under oath to uphold. Bush should have been tried and impeached for war crimes and high treason and misdemeanors against the American people a long time ago along with sidekick partner in crime Dick Cheney and the rest of the neo-con cabal. He should have been thoroughly investigated for 9/11 prior knowledge and complicity, but nothing was done he was let off the hook unscathed just as he requested. He should have been held criminally accountable for his lies to intentionally deceive and trick America into a horrific war with a never ending death toll and casualties, but wasn't because the senate and congress are spineless and intimidated to take a stand and actually do their jobs, save for a lone, brave Dennis Kucinich.
As for Independence, Republican and Democrats do not function as proper opposition parties anymore. They are one in the same. 2 wings of the same bird. A false paradigm farce. We have no more checks and balances. Thanks to the so-called "war on terror!" (sham), privacy no longer exists in America. It is a thing of the past, and the country is well on its way to becoming a police state.
That's not a true democracy or real Independence, it's a farce.
America might as well be a British colony. It definitely isn't going in the direction and vision of freedom and liberty for all as the forefathers intended that's for sure. Instead, the neocon PNAC chicken hawks in power subvert American liberty and annihilate American freedoms with their Constitution-destroying "Homeland (in)Security" scheme, a mockery of patriotism-liberty extinguishing "Patriot Act", countless "secret laws", monitoring of US citizens bank account, credit card and financial transactions, constant 'terror' scaremongering, secret prisons where torture is committed, FISA bills with telecom immunity (bye bye lawsuits!), detention camps across the nation on American soil (whatever for?) warrantless wiretapping surveillance legislation to spy on law-abiding American citizens. "Real ID Act" national ID cards ("your papers, please"), increased police powers and brutality above the law, spy cameras on street corners and intersections across the country, HR1955 "thought crimes" legislation aka: an Orwellian version of the “thought police,” PNAC agenda, Gun grabbing legislation forced into the senate, NSPD51 'presidential dictatorial powers' directive, Signing Statements, NSA databases compiled with American citizens highly personal and private information, and on and on. All of that pro-fascism, anti-freedom waste needs to be abolished and Americas Constitution and Bill of Rights completely restored. No compromises.
This is Independence? It's fascism and police state tyranny, not real freedom. We deserve better. America, as a truly free country, deserves better. Elected officials sold us out a long time ago. They don't fight to protect our freedoms, they don't work to defend our privacy rights and individual liberties as American citizens. Instead they legislate our freedoms away. They serve much greater masters than us, Bilderberg groups, Trilateral Commissions, Royal families, Rothschild's, Oil corporations, Federal Reserve policy, ultra rich 'elites', CFR agenda, and their goofy 'secret societies' and well financed lobbyist groups that subvert the will of the people and undermine Americas Constitution which is the law of the land (remember that?)
America has the best politicians money can buy. Unfortunately, few people can afford to own one. They don't represent common people as they are elected to serve, they represent the richest elites and corporate agenda, central banks, oil cartels and foreign lobby's. As long as we have ***** like "AIPAC" controlling our politicians, buying out our elected officials, presidents, buying Americas congress & senate for their own self-serving benefit, intimidating the politicians and dictating our 'foreign policy" and wars, America is no longer free and truly independent. It is hi-jacked by "special interests" foreign lobbyists which have no place in the government of a free and independent country. No place. America is supposed to be for the people and of the people, not for the government, of the government and ultra rich "special interest" lobbyists who don't respect the Constitution and choose milk America for their own benefit. Enough already.
Until we get these policy dictating foreign lobby's out of our government for good, until we have a president that is accountable to American citizens and rule of law for their actions, until we prevent the buying and selling out of our representatives and elected officials from self-serving "special interest" groups, 3rd world countries, corporations and wealthy royal 'elites' just to name a few, we will not be independent and free. - inactive, on 07/02/2008, -10/+7 We read the Declaration every year on the 4th. You'd learn more there, real knowledge, than you'd get in a restricted controlled educational facility that enforces TV stereotypes, where they only teach what they want you to know. I would love to see a nationwide, across the US- reading of the Declaration of Independence every 4th. To remind us what America is really about. Shout it LOUD and CLEAR so Washington and the Capitol can hear it. Instead of being bombarded by gimmicky fireworks and popgun explosions with sparklers. Too bad the controlled media doesn't even MENTION the Constitution, the Bill of Rights or what Americas founding fathers persevered to give us a country free from King George, taxation without representation and British tyranny and fascism in their coverage of Independence day. All that has unfortunately gone down the toilet. America has since been hi-jacked by "special interests" and ultra wealthy elites, AIPAC groups and self-serving foreign lobbyists.
