4 Spitzer Aides Broke Ethics Law in Bid to Smear Rival

nytimes.com — State Commission on Public Integrity brought no charges against Spitzer but left open the possibility of action if more evidence emerges. The report contradicts Mr. Spitzer ’s contention that they cooperated fully. The administration released information sporadically over 10-month and tried to exempt 100 documents as “spurious claims of privilege.”
