- bamapachyderm, on 02/07/2008, -1/+21Now? You just now realized it was an internet thing?
- DrPaulFTW, on 02/07/2008, -4/+20And Giuliani beats Ron Paul in California...http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/primaries/results ...
- inactive, on 02/07/2008, -0/+12This is the reason why digg has peaked. The 12-24 hour lag.
- nico623, on 02/07/2008, -5/+16It really is sad that Digg had soo many articles on Ron Paul and that now, you can totally see that it was just an internet phenomenon. I've moved on from him, and am looking to support Obama now.
- inactive, on 02/07/2008, -0/+10I think that was his point... he was being a smart ass.
- Gabberwok, on 02/07/2008, -0/+9I'd add http://www.realclearpolitics.com (good compilation of polls, articles, and results) and http://www.intrade.com (political prediction market)
- cynicist, on 02/07/2008, -1/+9It just shows how retarded people truly are...
- cyberdork, on 02/07/2008, -1/+8Or how little support RP has in real life.
- unpolloloco, on 02/07/2008, -3/+10I'm voting Colbert for president - I cannot with good conscience vote for either Hillary or McCain
- user10, on 02/07/2008, -1/+7Yes, I am also casting your vote.
- blaze03, on 02/07/2008, -0/+6Thanks! This is an excellent resource that will help me make an informed decision when I vote yesterday
lag ftl D: - inactive, on 09/17/2008, -0/+6because the man who virtually tied clinton's Super Tuesday delegate count, and raised $32 million in January, certainly doesn't stand a chance.
- RyeBrye, on 02/07/2008, -0/+6Remember when Digg had the "old news" reason to bury stories...
Damn... I miss those days... - crackah, on 02/07/2008, -4/+9Good achievement! because Giuliani is running yeah?
- M4rkuskk, on 02/07/2008, -4/+8"For those not in the United States, “Super Tuesday” is when.." I think that even many americans dont know what Super Tuesday means.
- explnx, on 04/27/2009, -0/+4Prediction markets (intrade is the largest) have been shown to be the most accurate method of predicting anything worth betting on. They perform much better than simple polls because people do lots of research when money is involved. In addition, people with inside information may be (illegaly?) investing in the most likely outcome, increasing the accuracy of the market beyond what can be determined with public data.
- Jb611, on 02/07/2008, -1/+5Thanks, I didn't know what voting was before reading your comment.
- Shiftgood, on 02/07/2008, -1/+5battle hardened? she cries to get votes.
besides... 5 bucks says shes just tucking it back between her legs. - GARussell, on 02/07/2008, -2/+6No, you can only counter one vote, not every vote.
- JointheArmy, on 02/07/2008, -1/+4Uncle Sam is that you?
- MrTito, on 02/07/2008, -0/+3I had no idea that something like intrade existed.
- inactive, on 02/07/2008, -0/+2I'm glad this hit the front page. This is a very valuable resource for people to use on Super Tuesday!
- inactive, on 02/07/2008, -0/+2The funny thing about those quizzes is that more than any other candidate's supporters, when they take quizzes like this, Ron Paul's supporters are disappointed in the results. Why? Because they aren't actually supporting him based on beliefs, but because they are sheep. Which is why there are so many people saying they support Ron Paul, as well as Mike Gravel and Dennis Kucinich, even though those two couldn't possibly be more polar opposite on EVERYTHING except the war.
- m3mn0n, on 02/07/2008, -0/+2IM IN UR DIGG, SKEWIN UR PERSPEKTIVEZ
...couldn't help it... - theodenking, on 02/07/2008, -0/+2Dugg for "For those not in the United States" alone. I think that's perhaps the only time I've seen a digg story which recognises that it will be reaching a multinational (read, not American) audience.
- Tiak, on 02/07/2008, -0/+1The mesage should be a given... If they care about how things are, they should vote, that much is common sense...
But honestly, encouraging the uninformed people that don't know ***** about who supports what doesn't help anyone. People that vote just because they think they should tend to only vote by name recognition... Not a good thing. - Seidoger, on 02/07/2008, -0/+1The International media is covering the US 2008 Elections like it's never been before.
The newspaper i got home last Tuesday has a big 5 and the words SUPER TUESDAY FOR AMERICANS
So it was hard to miss on my side to say the least - m3mn0n, on 02/07/2008, -0/+1It's a good thing this was front paged today. People will be informed for Super Tu... oh wait.
- Devaney, on 02/07/2008, -0/+1Why have 4 more idiots dug this article in the past 30 seconds? SUPER TUESDAY IS OVER, STOP DIGGING
- infinity777, on 02/07/2008, -3/+4He can do it! Obama won a clear majority of the super tuesday delegates, see for yourself!
http://my.barackobama.com/page/community/blog/samg ...
We need to help support him now more than ever. With the week long delays between each new set of primaries now and the relatively low number of states in each Obama will be able to keep his momentum growing and campaign agressively in each of them, and you can help!
The fact that 90% of Baracks donations so far have been from people who have given $100 or less (as opposed to Hillary who has gotten the majority of her contributions from corporate lobbyists and special interests) really shows the strength of his grassroots support. You can be a part of it to by donating or volunteering at;
http://www.barackobama.com/index.php
I have donated $100 already and if you donate you will be matched by another donor. I have also helped phonebank for him (my first time ever volunteering for a presidential candidate because this is the first one I have felt so passionately about) and the majority of people I contacted were really excited about his campaign and the possiblity of restoring america's good standing in the world.
Obama 08
YES WE CAN - m3mn0n, on 02/07/2008, -0/+1I want in on that money.
- NaziHatinChimp, on 02/07/2008, -4/+4hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
- Brady, on 02/07/2008, -1/+1Some decent stuff. Everyone should take a look at the glassbooth website on that list. Nice set up to easily see where each candidate is on each issue with quotes to support the stances.
Also has a quiz you can take to see which candidates line up best with you. It will break it down saying why they are similar to you. Good stuff, def helped reinforce my support for _________..... yeah just go get informed for yourself! - abbajabanana, on 02/09/2008, -0/+0Good resource, but largely ignored - http://www.20DC.com/stuesday.php
- Naidim, on 02/07/2008, -3/+3Specifically, Californians.
- iofthestorm, on 02/07/2008, -3/+2On behalf of Californians, who are driving the US economy and would be the 7th largest economy in the world without the rest of you guys, ***** you. We'll just take our Silicon Valley and leave, see how you like it.
- efitz11, on 02/07/2008, -2/+0"For those not in the United States."
After seeing that pornstar video I'd think this could be for everyone, in or out of the US - inactive, on 02/07/2008, -9/+5I anxiously await the day when the Obama fad on Digg passes, and we can move on. We've stopped dicking around with Ron Paul, we've stopped dicking around with Dennis Kucinich, and I think it would be a smart move to stop dicknig around with Obama, since you all know this ***** isn't gonna happen. Vote for Optimus Prime, 2008.
- inactive, on 02/07/2008, -5/+1I cast my vote here in New Mexico, it's like Mexico, only cleaner and with significantly less white people.
- freakon, on 02/07/2008, -7/+2Boo, a tried and true battle hardened goddess of light has triumphed this very day.
- MusicalGenius, on 02/07/2008, -7/+2Your wording isn't very appealing to diggers... but your message should appeal to anyone. Dugg.
- Shiftgood, on 02/07/2008, -13/+5Please vote Obama.
Please? - iamnotrich, on 02/07/2008, -10/+1and now moving to another internet sheep thing..
- muffinmonk, on 02/07/2008, -14/+3I'M casting MY vote.
Will YOU?
Only we can say who gets to be president, and not just criticize those who voted for the wrong party.
For every vote some guy makes towards your hated politician, you can counter it with yours.

What is Digg?
