alternet.org — When the opposition wins make claims of illegitimacy. Vote not "democratic" enough. Voters were "intimidated". Claim ballot stuffing claims without proof. Exaggerate any real voting irregularities. Emphasize a narrow vote as influenced by the other side using shady means at the last minute. On and on.

  • LoneRanger85, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2I wanted to vote for Ralph Nader last election, but those let-every-vote-be-counted Democrats sued to keep him off the ballot in my state. And that would not have been a vote they lost because I won't vote for Democrats until they apologize for slavery. And black codes. And lynching. And Jim Crow. And nuking Japan. And segregation. And fighting every piece of civil rights legislation from 1865 to 1965. I'm pretty sure I won't be voting Democrat in my lifetime.
