If I weren't retired, living in a rural area, (and thanks to high gas prices) don't go very far from home, I wouldn't be lucky enough to have the time to follow the Election as closely as I do. Most people just can't fathom that someone could just outright lie about someone like that. Their answer is always, "They just can't do that, it MUST be true". I know several people like this. I fight them off as best I can, and try to educate them and open their eyes to something other than Fox News, but it is an uphill battle.
