- triggerfinger, on 10/12/2008, -46/+413God bless her and I'm an atheist.
- CyGuy, on 10/12/2008, -11/+169Why is it more important to some bishops what a candidate's stance is on abortion, when McCain is divorced? Only one of the candidates could ever be a "good Catholic" and it's Obama. And Obama fought hard in IL against the broken Death Penalty law they had there, you would think that the "Pro-Life" Catholic church which is also vehemently anti-Death Penalty could see that Obama is generally more in line with their (and Christ's) teachings than War-Monger McCain who voted for an unjust war that the Church opposed that has resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands.
And that's not even mentioning that Obama's VP is a Catholic. - Nephersir7, on 10/13/2008, -9/+136She looks more qualified than McCain/Palin 08. Maybe that´s because she´s not senile yet,
- badwithcomputer, on 10/13/2008, -6/+116When a reporter asked her how she would be voting on Proposition 8 she explained that was really nun of his business.
- dinot, on 10/12/2008, -6/+109Fair enough. Jesus was black, too.

- ieatpizza, on 10/13/2008, -7/+88Digg: Where it's okay to be a Christian as long as you say you're an atheist.
- Wisewood, on 10/12/2008, -1/+74Divorced? That's not the half of it. He carried on adultery with Cindy Hensley while still married to his first wife, Carol. I'm sure that wouldn't go over well.... well, if it were ever reported widely.

- inactive, on 10/13/2008, -15/+65She's like the 105 year old virgin, but before she dies, she'll get to ***** McCain by voting for Obama. Nice.
- rjc5056, on 10/13/2008, -7/+55I agree. This is the best thing to come from religion since catholic schoolgirls!
- mmmunaf, on 10/13/2008, -2/+48"It is very complicated," she said. "Those Eastern people are not like we are."
I wish I was old so I could say stuff like that. - freedomjoe, on 10/12/2008, -11/+51Obama and Biden are the only two real family values candidates here. I'm glad some people can see past the rhetoric and examine the issues thoughtfully. God Bless this woman!
- JenniferInMO, on 10/12/2008, -1/+37Don't forget that he "converted" to Baptist (the largest Christian sect in the US) recently and hasn't been baptized, nor does he regularly attend church.

- Shiloah, on 10/12/2008, -1/+33Single-issue voters are too easy, and they hinder rational politics. Pro-life Republicans play them like a fiddle. They would lose that whole base once abortion was outlawed, which may help explain why it hasn't come up in 12 years of Republican congresses and 8 years in the White House.
Obama, however, offers practical and proven ways of reducing abortions by providing support systems to families in high-risk situations.
Letting Obama do what he can to reduce the abortion rate is a better solution than voting for McCain in the pie-in-the-sky hope of a ban that is just not going to happen. - jforjools, on 10/13/2008, -0/+28It's not just that he cheated on her...but his wife was a recovering from a painful and disfiguring near-fatal accident. She was no longer a swimsuit model. The accident crippled her.

- homercles337, on 10/12/2008, -14/+41Darwin bless her and im obviously an atheist. ;) I just saw this on the news 2 minutes ago.
- culbeda, on 10/13/2008, -3/+30I'm as big of an Obama fan as the next guy, but is anyone else concerned that so many pro-Obama fluff pieces will (A) dilute the message and (B) over-inflate the collective perception of his lead and negatively impact that actual vote?
- ironhide, on 10/13/2008, -3/+29Don't blame the media for the fact that McCain can't seem to come up with a single positive aspect to his presidency.
- aussiejan, on 10/13/2008, -1/+26The racists always seem to forget that.
- rotundo, on 10/13/2008, -4/+29Apparently 167 people, as of this posting.
- Lhandroval, on 10/13/2008, -7/+29I thought it was interesting to note that she hasn't voted since the 1950's. I expect very high voter turnout for this election, which is always good regardless of who wins. :)

- RikkiTikki, on 10/13/2008, -14/+28You'd think she'd vote for McCain since they've both been out of touch with America for the last 50 years.

If she knew years ago that an African-American would be this close to being the president I think the 1920's would have exploded. - SSPink, on 10/13/2008, -0/+11Woah, dude... when you say ***** like that you have to be at least a little funny, otherwise you're just a racist ***** who's going to become closely acquainted with the banhammer.
