ocregister.com — I was watching the Big Oil execs testifying before Congress. That was my first mistake. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz knew the routine: "I can't say that there is evidence that you are manipulating the price, but I believe that you probably are. So prove to me that you are not."

    The, not-in-my-backyard, mentality of the Left has pushed oil men overseas, created a national security problem, shipped jobs over seas, and ...like he says... financed radical Islam to pursue their agenda of genocide.

    It's clear, to enjoy a reduction of fuel prices in America we need a corresponding reduction in Liberal Ideology applied to our lives.

    Hillary or Obama 'taking' oil men's "Excess Profit" or a NOPEC session is the kind of liberal ideology I'm referring to.

One of the guys on Bulls & Bears on Fox News just said that the oil prices are going up because of speculators on Wall Street. But instead, Congress has been investigating the producers; the drillers and refiners. What about people that do NOTHING productive, yet drive up futures prices by speculating?

    Oh, how I'd love to see THAT bubble burst!

In other comments to Cavuto, she opined, without a trace of irony, that yes, we certainly needed to grow our domestic petro-reserves. But again, this must be achieved WITHOUT building a single well to extract any of our incalculable supply of crude, or adding refining capacity. Public education has produced the VOTERS who happily empowered the moronic ruling elite the Founders warned us about. How do you even begin to counter such titanic idiocy? Heaven help us all!

    This means that the oil companies are eating 11% of the increase in the price of oil.

I suppose they think we should all be like them: smelly, never bathe, grow your own food, don't eat meat, save the animals, save the planet, screw the people! So if millions or even billions starve to death so they can produce worthless ethanol to replace oil, who the hell are they saving the planet for?

      Bush is a RINO, same as McCain, that is why McAmnesty is riding the current wave in on Bush's laurels. It is Bush's "compassionate conservatism" (re:progressive) that has helped get us here where we are.
      What I pray the Good Lord helps us get away from: is the anti-constitution, anti-rights, liberal Socialists; that keep pushing forward their progressive agendas, veiled as "help and change" for the people of this country.

In Britain, new "green taxes" do nothing to "save" the planet, but they are estimated to cost the average family about $6,000 a year. That's change you can believe in.
