Added this to my list of Links. - inactive, on 06/12/2008, -16/+101By the diggs, it looks like there are 13 so far ;)
Good to know nonetheless ! - tkstock, on 06/12/2008, -22/+82I'm a right winger, but y'all are further right than I am methinks... I don't think Obama or McCain are communists (according to the first article; however, I think Obama has significant socialistic tendencies).
McCain is my choice over Obama - he's more conservative BY FAR and has the most chance of bringing us together. And, he's the only one who actually wants to win in Iraq. - onthewriteside, on 06/12/2008, -4/+58You don't have to be a hardcore right winger-just CONSERVATIVE and not liberal.
- onthewriteside, on 06/12/2008, -20/+72Any CONSERVATIVES who wants access to add their diggs to the blog, shout me your email address so I can set up your posting access to the blog. My shouts are private so no one will see it but me and I will only use it to grant blog permission. You don't have to have any blogging experience to participate. Digg's "blog it" function does it automatically with a couple of clicks. Come on guys!!!
- inactive, on 06/12/2008, -5/+55Ahh 25 and counting! Keep em comming
- inactive, on 06/12/2008, -29/+79Yes we are here and we are superior. Liberals run before us like the scared girly-men that they are, clapping their metrosexual hands over their ears to protect their empty skulls from the singing, ringing words of truth. Tremble, ye spineless worms!
- psiege, on 06/12/2008, -18/+67Added to favorites, preparing to shout for access. This is great, been thinking about doing the same thing for some time now. Glad someone finally stepped up.
It's a great feeling to know I'm not alone here in this community. For a while there, I thought for sure I was stranded on Libtard Island -- without any rum.
For all those Diggtards and Obamaniacs who can muster the strength to disconnect the brain cord Obama has managed to hard wire directly to your brains through the conduit of Digg, feel free to change your political allegiance and join the "right" side, the side of common sense, knowledgeable, logical decisions. Good luck Obie sheep, you'll need it. - bliving, on 06/12/2008, -16/+64We're here, but vastly outnumbered... For now.
- onthewriteside, on 06/12/2008, -2/+50I just went through and added articles shouted to me.
- drachemorder, on 06/12/2008, -20/+67Favorited and bookmarked!
- HiCaP, on 06/13/2008, -7/+49Sorry I’m late to the party, it was such a beautiful day, after work I took all 8 of my handguns to the range.
I was in the zone, the 25 yard zone.
Man, what a great way to put a great day to bed. - Qong, on 06/13/2008, -5/+46111 Diggs on this, that's actually fairly surprising.
I dugg it, though I think that I'm a pretty centrist/liberal guy, and I'm not registered with any political party. Digg is terribly biased though, I can barely read the front page, there are just too many anti-McCain articles, anti-Bush and current administration jokes and articles, and of course pro-Obama articles. It's too much for me really.
There needs to be more intelligent articles on Digg, conservative and otherwise. - LexieLove86, on 06/12/2008, -14/+54i love it! We're few and far between here on Digg...but I was SO happy to see your blog! At least not there are people with real morals, standards and ideals!!
- ramiro, on 06/12/2008, -11/+49Proud to be part of the vaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaast right wing conspiracy!
- AWBoy666, on 06/13/2008, -16/+53Bookmarked!
Here's what's interesting: Do you know why liberal stories make it to the front page more easily? It isn't necessarily because there are more of them on Digg. Liberals are more likely to spend their time looking through the thousands of constantly submitted stories to pick out the ones they agree with. Most conservatives are too busy making money, protecting our country, providing for their family, or otherwise being productive. We aren't "intellectuals" sitting in our parents' basements without a job. - ftx437, on 06/12/2008, -12/+47wait what? i thought this was a lib site! but now i see there is more of us!!!!!!!!!!!!
- inactive, on 06/12/2008, -9/+43I'm a hard core left wing Obama voting machice.
However, I'd like to see a more balanced frontpage on digg. Not just the all pro-Obama and anti-Mccain stories that we see.
Actually, I've fared very well under the Bush administration, but I'm very well off. I just feel for the less privileged. If I were to vote for any Republican it would be McCain.
In the meantime I'm gonna thaw out some cold water Australian Rock Lobster and stick it on the grill for dinner tonight.
Oh I'm still working on basing my company out of Dubai like Haliburton.
Hell why should I have to pay taxes and I haven't owned US greenbacks for ages
Bury me for just being me, I guess people on both sides of the equations are a little quick with the bur button - johnny2k, on 06/12/2008, -6/+37Oh, so AMEN on that one, my friend InRS! Hey, and I've been pretty pro-active in the ministry stuff here lately. I guess there has been a reason. And I need your support, or anyone willing to give it to me right now.
- BohicaTwentyTwo, on 06/12/2008, -2/+29REVOlution
- inactive, on 09/04/2008, -4/+30We can do better than 138.
- drachemorder, on 06/12/2008, -4/+30Oh, come off it. We're not scared of liberalism, we're just sick and tired of seeing it every time we turn around.
- 03FightOn, on 06/13/2008, -6/+31Keep it up people.....just keep the message moving. It's the 80/20 rule. Remeber that todays liberals are really socialists. Re-take the liberal banner for the vision of Thomas Jefferson.
- Pillage, on 06/12/2008, -23/+48I'm not going to be added to some libtard watch list by digging this am I?
- inactive, on 06/13/2008, -7/+31Just checking in and reminding everybody that, according to his own website, Obama wants to attack Pakistan and/or Iran, increase troop strength by 92,000, pursue terrorists and continue the Extreme Renditions and all this other stuff that the Liberals rail against Bush on.
Oh, and he thinks he can disarm the planet of nuclear weapons while we hold on to ours.
His website is a Goldmine of *****. - vault, on 06/13/2008, -3/+27Actually, conservatives are an oppressed minority on digg. We should start demanding affirmative action for our submissions.
- shauncorleone, on 06/13/2008, -1/+25While I would never put the "conservative" label on Obama, Stalin is conservative when compared to Barack. I do find it hilarious that Obama's shtick is all about unity, yet he's never crossed party lines to work with the right on any major issues. If McCain wants to win, he needs to push the concept that he, not Obama, has proven to be a "uniter". It's not the Republican president I want, but anything's better than the radical Obama.
- psiege, on 06/12/2008, -3/+26You'll hear the cries across Diggville when a pro McCain post makes it to the front page. ;-)
- goodwyne, on 06/13/2008, -8/+31I hope this works. I'd given up on digg.
- inactive, on 06/13/2008, -5/+25It does not matter to me if the people on my friends list have a differing view of how things should be.
I want to be able to learn about their opinions as they learn about mine. I am not perfect. I am not going to pretend I know everything.
If I cut myself off from people of different experiences and thoughts I lose.
Among my friends list you will find a wide and varied cross section of digg. - inactive, on 06/13/2008, -6/+27You know you are getting under their skin when they start following you around on threads. :)
- 7sons, on 06/14/2008, -5/+25A great link. Sometimes it feels terribly lonely out here and it is good to know there are so many out in the trenches.
- flip2trip, on 06/12/2008, -5/+25
"I guess it is pretty dangerous to just read around digg freely....."
You are correct sir, liberal thinking is dangerous to our country. - flip2trip, on 06/13/2008, -1/+21I almost dugg you up but...can't....condone...affirmative.....action.....must resist....temptation.....
- oceanrain, on 06/13/2008, -5/+24Nice idea as it rounds out the news reports on Digg.
- sbcjr, on 07/11/2008, -1/+20199...
- BohicaTwentyTwo, on 06/13/2008, -2/+20Funny, I don't remember you from the meeting.
- inactive, on 09/04/2008, -9/+27Another name I can add to the auto bury.
- inactive, on 06/12/2008, -9/+27Ah! A centrist and an appeaser!
- mmmmmbiscuits, on 06/12/2008, -6/+24Welcome back, trollhunter.
- Nannybell, on 06/14/2008, -1/+19Tell me about it !!! It gets really creepy sometimes.
- ericjohnson0, on 06/13/2008, -4/+22http://www.TheSaloon.net
This place leans right and I post alot of their material around here... it gets Voted Down but I post it anyway. Until it gets buried, but I try like the rest of us! - Stevanoski, on 06/12/2008, -7/+25Yes, but G.B. Shaw "I learned long ago, never to wrestle with a pig, you get dirty; and besides, the pig likes it."
- inactive, on 09/04/2008, -0/+17Hold on for a little while longer to see how this turns out.
- mayhemchaos, on 06/13/2008, -18/+34Thank G-d! And I can say that without the threat of being dugg down by some liberal atheist ;-D
- vault, on 06/13/2008, -2/+17@dishPls
Actually, calling Russet a douchebag and then complaining about name calling in the same breath refuted any point about maturity.
@Hortnon
If his comment had been some ethnic/racial slur, I would agree that's a line that shouldn't be crossed. But liberals aren't oppressed in any way, there are no historical injustices against Democrats, etc...it's fair game for humor IMO just like conservatives are. "Tremble ye spineless worms" is pretty innocuous compared to the stuff I've seen LGF trolls say, like when mightydavefish/cryrightardcry wished we would all get cancer and die.
It doesn't pollute the elections...people who care about the issues first and foremost still do, people who just want their team to win still do, etc.
Winding people up in a prisonplanet thread is no different than winding people up in a kos/huffpo thread, nor is it any different than doing so in a Fox News thread. It's lighthearted...a person's political beliefs are not the same racial/ethnic slurs. There's nothing to take personally.
I don't see why we can't all have a bit of fun with each other's political views. It's just digg...it's not like an episode of Firing Line where everyone has to be extremely civil and rigid all the time. - caccia, on 06/14/2008, -4/+19Well done Holly! :) I like!!!
- shauncorleone, on 06/13/2008, -2/+17I want a Fairness Doctrine for Digg to be passed in Congress. After all, just because HuffingtonPost "news" is the most popular political fodder amongst the population of the site, it doesn't mean I don't deserve to see Heritage Foundation and National Review stories on the front page. It's just not fair!!
