- GBPACKGB, on 05/14/2009, -86/+558Ironic considering Ann Coulter's the one who wants to take away a woman's right to vote.

- flaknugget, on 05/14/2009, -24/+273This from the woman who has said...
"I think [women] should be armed but should not vote...women have no capacity to understand how money is earned. They have a lot of ideas on how to spend it...it's always more money on education, more money on child care, more money on day care."
... and ...
"It would be a much better country if women did not vote. That is simply a fact. In fact, in every presidential election since 1950 - except Goldwater in '64 - the Republican would have won, if only the men had voted. "

- inactive, on 05/14/2009, -33/+208Why do the conservatives always ask "why do XXX hate YYY" cant they come up with something a bit more thoughtful and less childish?
- zuiquan, on 05/14/2009, -44/+203***** this. Seriously. Bu-*****-ried.
- inactive, on 05/14/2009, -34/+185Buried, nothing worth trying to refute here. All the women named here are idiots. That's why nobody likes them, not simply because they are women.
- GBPACKGB, on 05/14/2009, -12/+142"If we took away women's right to vote, we'd never have to worry about another Democrat president. It's kind of a pipe dream, it's a personal fantasy of mine."

- Ann Coulter - Mnementh2230, on 05/14/2009, -22/+151"This is in contradistinction to liberals, all of whom believe they're on a fast track to heaven on the basis of being "basically good" people -- and also believe that anyone who disagrees with that theological view is evil."
What a wonderful mischaracterizing generalization. You've completely neglected people of different faiths, or of no faith at all. - awgygti, on 05/14/2009, -40/+168Ann Coulter absolutely does not deserve a stage like the front page of Digg.
- bluechips23, on 05/14/2009, -34/+154Dear Mr. Coulter,
Liberals do not hate women. Liberals hate ignorant people and just so happens, some of the women the Republican Party or the Evangelical Christians portray as their "leaders" are just dumb and stupid. Liberals's point of view has more to do the intelligence than with the gender. It is more to do with education than being a redneck moose hunter. It is more to do with principles and values than with being a hypocrite and class-less role model for young women.
Now, lets drop the facade, you don't have to keep trying pretending to be a woman, when it is all well known that you are a man.
Thanks! - CanadianCheese, on 05/14/2009, -33/+144What the hell is wrong with you people? Bury this shiat, she doesn't deserve the light of day.
- GBPACKGB, on 05/14/2009, -75/+181Lol. Gotta love how conservatives bury someone down for stating a fact!

- Slaytan, on 05/14/2009, -21/+109Ann Coulter...the same woman who said "If we took away a woman's right to vote, we wouldn't have to worry about Democrats" and called the 9/11 widows "the witches of east brunswick"
No....no hipocrisy here folks move along... - liah, on 05/14/2009, -48/+136I want to digg this, but at the same time I don't want any more traffic to be driven to Ann Coulter's website.
Stupid bitch gets profit from being retarded. Why can't I profit from being retarded :*( - superfusion, on 05/14/2009, -16/+99What the hell is a "Liberal Taliban"? A religious extremist who found secularism, deciding they'd much rather start a small business, work on their basement and walk their daughter to school than engage in a holy war of civilizations?
If we're going to be idiots, why don't we just call it an "Ann Coulter-idolizing Taliban." - smoothmedia, on 05/14/2009, -27/+107Why do conservatives hate smart women?
- spdorsey, on 05/14/2009, -25/+101Coulter is an idiotic moron who stokes the fire between conservatives and liberals, who are NOT ENEMIES!
I'm more liberal, but I do not listen to Air America, I do not watch MSNBC, and I do not listen to anything Coulter or Limbaugh have to say. I disagree with all of them pretty much categorically.
We are all Americans. But, more importantly, we are all HUMANS. Stop looking for lines to divide, and let's all chill the Fu** out! - MofS, on 08/13/2009, -26/+98anncoulter.com.....haha...hah..ha
- kingUssop, on 05/14/2009, -25/+96I hate people who make a career as Republican PR. Seriously who gives a ***** about Ann Coulter... where's the content of her ideas besides liberals (in other words Democrats) are evil!1!!
- inactive, on 05/14/2009, -4/+65LMAO this is Ann Coulter we're talking about. Most people, I could give you the benefit of the doubt and say "Maybe it was taken out of context," but damn, even when you have the context, she's always just completely ***** insane.
- KtownReject0358, on 05/14/2009, -29/+90Ann Coulter, crazy bitch. End of the story.
- rblancarte, on 05/14/2009, -12/+73They aren't conservatives. They are Republicans. There hasn't been a conservative party since 1980. ($1 to Janeane Garafalo).
Seriously, though, who are they to let facts get in the way of their crusade? If they let facts dictate what they did, none of the ***** we are in now probably would have happened. Certainly not IRAQ. - ha3er0, on 06/16/2009, -8/+67she is not a women, silly
- anstice85, on 05/14/2009, -6/+59Is Ann Coulter surprised that stupid people exist in both genders? Is she asking liberals to never criticize women's beliefs because they are women? I don't even understand what ***** point she's trying to make. The people she lists aren't criticized FOR BEING WOMEN, they're criticized for having crazy beliefs.
- brodimus, on 05/14/2009, -3/+51http://www.observer.com/2007/coulter-culture
"If we took away women's right to vote, we'd never have to worry about another Democrat president. It's kind of a pipe dream, it's a personal fantasy of mine, but I don't think it's going to happen. And it is a good way of making the point that women are voting so stupidly, at least single women." - NorrisOBE, on 05/14/2009, -39/+87Who the ***** brought Ann Coulter to Digg?!
Where are the more saner Republicans like Meghan McCain & Ron Paul? - anstice85, on 05/14/2009, -14/+60She was trying to say that Palin got the VP nod because she's pro-life. Conservatives like her are big fans of protecting the rights of fetii and braindead people; the same can't be said for functioning humans ages 0-100.
- GBPACKGB, on 05/14/2009, -17/+63But usually she's just moronic.
- levitron, on 05/14/2009, -1/+46"If we took away women's right to vote, we'd never have to worry about another Democrat president. It's kind of a pipe dream, it's a personal fantasy of mine."

- inactive, on 05/14/2009, -4/+47Well that's kind of sexist, don't you think? Why assume it has anything to do with the fact that Ann Coulter's a woman? Hmm, typical conservative double standard. If someone said something bad about a black person, and someone else said it was racist, conservatives would be the first to denounce it as playing the race card, but apparently when it's gender, it's a completely different matter. Fascinating.
- InetRoadkill, on 05/14/2009, -6/+48Coulter is ***** insane. No wonder why she is the darling of the extreme right.
- dave122, on 05/14/2009, -22/+63and the republicans hate poor people/blacks. blah blah. Partisan spam.
- Me1000, on 05/14/2009, -28/+68***** ANN COULTER!
- anstice85, on 05/14/2009, -3/+42I like how pookydirt automatically assumes that Ann Coulter's crazy ass quote must have been taken out of context. Unless the sentence right before it was "What I'm about to say is really stupid", no context could justify it or make it sound sane.
- Ragzouken, on 05/14/2009, -6/+45Seriously, I can't tell if she's the most stupid person on Earth or the most effective liberal plan ever.
- m2a0r0k4us, on 05/14/2009, -24/+62I hate ann coulter.
- Hetman, on 05/14/2009, -17/+53It is not women. It is evangelic christians. And for the most part it is only because they want to force there morality upon everyone.
- inactive, on 05/14/2009, -26/+62No *****, "liberals" (which anymore, means "the 78% of Americans who aren't Republicans") used Prejean's divorce papers to show that she really doesn't have any right talking about "the sanctity of marriage." But as long as we're making pinheaded judgement calls about other people, I'd suggest that the REAL difference between the Republican version of a "Christian" and everyone else is that Republican Christians spend all their time telling us why everyone else is evil and is going to hell.
- rabidbob, on 05/14/2009, -11/+47Sometimes she's so retarded it amazes me.
- rblancarte, on 05/14/2009, -3/+38No, I hate Ann Coulter because she is a raving lunatic:
- She belittled 4 women who lost their husbands in the 9/11 attack
- on Muslums "We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity"
- On how 'liberal' the NY Times is "My only regret with Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to the New York Times Building"
- She called John Edward a *****, meaning that at the least she is Homophobic or worse hates gays
- She wants to take away women's right to vote - "It would be a much better country if women did not vote"
- And she has attacked Jewish people as well:
Donny Deutsch: "You said—your exact words were, 'Jews need to be perfected.' Those are the words out of your mouth.
Ann Coulter: "No, I'm saying that's what a Christian is."
Translation - she is calling Christians, PERFECTED Jews. WTF?!?!
No, the woman is nuts, and needs to go away. - egenus, on 05/14/2009, -24/+58What makes Ann Coulter an friggin expert again? That she is a world class bitch?
- Mnementh2230, on 05/14/2009, -2/+35"If democrats had their way, women would still not be able to vote. But, as with slavery and segregation, democrats did not get their way and Republicans won out. "
Um, perhaps you're unaware, but the views of the political parties have switched since the emancipation. Yes, the republicans are the ones who freed the slaves, but their views at that point in time are now held by today's democrats.
Here's a little history for you:
The first major American political party to endorse women's suffrage was the Progressive Party (Bull Moose, as coined by Theodore Roosevelt). This party was formed by a split in the Republican party of the time (1912) over conservative/progressive issues. Most members left the party and re-joined the Republicans after the Republicans endorsed the somewhat progressive presidential candidate Charles Hughes (who lost to Woodrow Wilson). This left conservatives in charge of the Republican party, and those conservative members and the progressives of the Bull Moose party never really saw eye-to-eye due to their ideological differences. Most of the former Bull Moose party members joined FDR's New Deal Democratic Coalition.
So you see, the folks who are PRO-civil rights are today's Democrats. They are in favor of Gay Marriage (you may have religious objections, but religion cannot dictate law in this country, else we have a de facto state religion!) and they supported the 24th Amendment to the Constitution (given to us by the Civil Rights movement of the 1960's).
For a more critical look, let's look more in depth at the states that passed the 24th Amendment, or rather, those that didn't. Of the 8 states that have never ratified the Amendment (Wyoming, Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Georgia, South Carolina) only Arkansas is and has been a heavily Democratically voting state. Wyoming, Arizona, Texas, Georgia, and South Carolina are now all Republican controlled. Louisiana and Oklahoma are split, with Oklahoma having Democratic executive offices but Republican state and national legislative officers, and Louisiana being somewhat evenly split. Both Oklahoma and South Carolina voted Republican majority in last year's presidential election. I haven't the time to research the 38 states who DID ratify the 24th Amendment at its initial acceptance, but I will say this: It is historically progressives who want equality for all citizens. Hanging onto the accomplishments of your party from over 100 years ago when the values of the party then and now do not line up is rather silly. - inactive, on 05/14/2009, -4/+36Missing a few cards?
