He has an obscure past (his father is never an American, his link with Islam and Indonesia). He's inexperience and naive. I love to see how thing unfold for him and Democratic Party.

- nalicosh, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0I hope others will respond in greater depth here but I would like to point out that there is a great difference between being against a set of policies or actions and being against the Federal Government's involvement in such issues. Ron Paul is in Favor of a clean and safe Environment just as he is in favor of helping the poor and working class. He understands however that forced sacrifice to the will of the Federal Bureaucrats (whether by popular decree or not) is not only the least efficient way to handle such problems but also the least moral. Not to mention unconstitutional. I think nearly everyone would like to live in a safe,clean, peaceful and prosperous world. We only disagree on the means to this End. I believe that the greatest hope for our future is and will always be in creative technological advancement which is the first casualty of the welfare state.
