- Gadren, on 10/11/2007, -1/+46Quit threatening subpoenas and actually do them! The American people are waiting for the Congress which we elected to clean things up to actually fulfill their job description.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+16Thanks, President Traitor!
- e68895f, on 10/11/2007, -2/+14Nobody move!! i have a subpoena in my pocket !!!
- indicas, on 10/11/2007, -4/+15Really. I'm tired of the empty threats. Either do something or don't.
What did we bring the Democrats in office for again? I certainly didn't vote them in to play word games - get moving! - siddhartha1138, on 10/11/2007, -1/+11Waxman is threatening to make them testify? How is that threatening? "we might make you show up and talk to us... maybe" ARRRG. Democrats need to grow a spine and a pair of balls and start restoring the balance of power in Washington. Fark subpoenas, they need to start impeaching!
- mikelieman, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10Let's table this impeachment *****, and go right to a Grand Jury Indictment.
Send in the Federal Marshals, to Perp-Walk the alleged felons for the 6 o'clock news. - CheckPlease, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10Calling a progressive site socialist, calling an elected representative socialist, and using the term "moonbat." Say something really dumb about how 9-11 changed everything, and I'll have my Right-Wing ***** Bingo card filled!
- SenorCardgage74, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9If only there were some Firefox plug-in that I could use to cockpunch you every time you say the word "moonbat"...
- budgetguitar, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9...all the kings horses and all the kings men, can't put the United States back together again.
Thanks for ruining the country. I hope there's a special part of hell reserved for greedy old men who con the world out of its power and money. - CheckPlease, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7Replace "threatens" with "promises" and "subpoenas" with "impeachment."
- Cactus44, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7
What does it take to get impeached any more? Just what?
How much worse will it have to get before something meaningful is done? - theNazz, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7Why are these ***** still 'threatening' when they should be on 'full auto'?
- siddhartha1138, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5RTFA douche! There is nothing socialist about it. And just because thinkprogress is liberal biased (its a lib site wtf do you expect) doesn't make support for the rule of law a liberal/socialist issue. you use internet explorer? ... you are a douche!
- Timetheos, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7While I tend to agree, who is going to enforce them? And let's say we subpoena, is the American public going to care?
Monica Goodling admitted that Rove's former aide (and temporary Federal prosecutor appointed by Dubya) denied people their right to vote...did anyone see that in the media?
Compared to Dems, soooooooo many Republicans have broken the law, but idiots keep re-electing them. - venicerocco, on 10/11/2007, -3/+7Cos as we all know these days reality has a liberal bias.
- defektiv, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6Waxman is just winding up.. everyone speculated he would eventually be the driving force to really hurt this administration, he is a legal mastermind. Maybe he has just been building his case and is just warming up? Let's hope so, I want my country back!
- carlosglz, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4I agree with defektiv... it seems he is slowly building up a huge number of cases of negligence, mismanagement and incompetence by the administration. He is doing a great job. (Except for not releasing his list of earmarks to cnn).
On another note, every time I see picture of cheney like the one on this page, I hear the darth vader theme in my head. - HallsOfMandos, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Perhaps rather than frothing at the mouth you would care to refute the violations cited in the article?
- EarlOfLade, on 10/11/2007, -1/+32nd amendment anyone?
- razor150, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Quit threatening and just do it. When has this White House ever voluntarily done anything, even after being threatened? Just freaking do it all ready, enough with the freaking theater.
- defektiv, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2here's a tip. don't open your mouth if all that comes out is rubbish.
- sabach, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2I thought you were just glad to see me.
- Kenzan, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3House oversight chairman Henry Waxman.....
House of Wax...man? - ff1959, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I am not a Bush fan, nor am I Clinton fan, but: Clinton was not impeached for his relationship. He was impeached for perjury and obstruction of justice.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Waxman is a partisan ass. . . .
- sabach, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Dead Man Walking here....
- djavulkai, on 10/11/2007, -3/+4From the tagline, I thought this story was about Safari Windows....
- Eivo, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3:O
- sotopheavy, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Right now the white house has been able to choose whether or not to follow these security measures depending on whether or not it has helped them politically. By allowing inspection of their security procedures they give up their ability to decide whether or not to follow these important security procedures. By giving this ability up they see it as giving up a political tool. They would no longer be able to abuse the security procedures as in the case of Valarie Plame and they would be accountable for past abuses. Why would this administration ever agree to loss of political power and accountability for their actions?
Their excuse, that the vice president is not part of the executive branch, is now beyond stupid. It is insulting to the American people. The hammer should come down. There is only one true democratic solution. The next presidential election should be held in 11/07, One year early. Citizens should have the power to call for an early election when the current administration has become destructive to the people of the United States of America. - EarlOfLade, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1He didn't even get the dress dry cleaned, saved a bundle there I figure....
- miriclaire, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Ditto!
- Terr01, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Self-pardoning...
- j4ck80, on 10/11/2007, -4/+4Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Waxman
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+3Half the front page is Cheney Derangement Syndrome spam. Way to go diggtards, you're idiocracy will ensure digg never goes mainstream.
- LadyBeGood, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0The Democrats are sniveling doggies. They tremble, wet themselves, and roll over to expose their soft white underbellies when KING CHENEY walks into the room. They make me want to vomit razor blades.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1lol...do some research Sparky....Socialist ALWAYS use the term "progressive". If it looks like *****, it probably IS *****.
- davideparker, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0flaunt != flout.
- cspring, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0Here's a tip: Don't trust anything Waxman says or does.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0ummmmm....but I'm using MS IE so...there would be compatability issues.... ya know..........
- miketrin, on 10/11/2007, -10/+2I, for one, would like to be the first to welcome our new dictator overlords.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -16/+2OHHHHHHHHHHHH BOY !!!!!! ...
