- newspigeon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Personally, I am tired of political ads in which a competitor's CHARACTER comes under assault. However, criticizing someone for his or her ACTIONs (e.g., voting a particular way on a particular piece of legislation) is a far cry from assassinating their character (calling them racist or fascist).
I see nothing wrong with this particular campaign ad, which is why I am going to digg it despite the title you gave it. - RedState, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It isn't the truth Newspigeon. Talent supports Stem Cell research. Not Embryonic Stem Cell Research (that has been proven ineffective). They leave that part out.
I wish Repubs would counter with an exact add of like people saying, "In a few years they would be going to high school, getting married, having grand kids, doing this and that ... however, they were killed as embryos so that their stem cells could be used for unsuccessful research & so McCaskill could get elected."
All they have to do is put the word "embryonic" and it would be truth. Why do Dems deny killing embryos? Oh yea, it doesn't sound very caring to be killing babies.
