(Video) McCain Doesn't Know What His Own Iraq Resolution Says

thinkprogress.org — John McCain has an Iraq resolution that sets "benchmarks" for the Iraqi government but doesn't specify consequences for missing the benchmarks. This morning McCain declared, “Well, the consequences are obvious.” But, he said, “I can’t tell you what the other options are."

  • kencyber, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1For too long now, Republicans have had no clear plan on how to win the peace. They tell us they won't leave until victory is obtained, but it's obvious there is no clear victory to be had here. We're just shooting ourselves in the foot every day we stay there.
