- dmegivern, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Mathewsjw--don't you think you ought to sound less hateful when calling a group of people a party of hate!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7That's because you lack ethical integrity and would allow your partisan ***** to cloud your judgement.
The rest of us are trying to be better than that, and you.
But your comment is typical of the right wing asshats. They too often sell their integrity for percieved gains in partisan power. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Yeah, smart guy, you just keep riding that winning GOP train. Those guys have done GREAT things for America.
But if ***** all over the economy, foreign relations, and civil rights isn't enough for you then you can pull your head out of your ass with a wet sucking sound, pay attention, and get a clue. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4@ theslowrider. How about we put aside the extremist rhetoric for a minute.
Lets say we are equally passionate about politics, but our viewpoints are completely opposite.
Where can we begin to have dialog, to make this democratic republic work for both of us without having to resort to thinnly veiled suggestions that someone should assassinate our elected officials.
Can we agree on the constitution?
Can we agree to look at the oath George W Bush took?
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

GWB likes to tell us that his job is "this", his job is "that", that his job is "hard work", that he is "the decider", the "commander in chief", his job is to defend americans, his job is to "provide for the troops"
He can tell us his job is anything, but he took an OATH to preserve, protect and defend the U.S. Constitution.
And by the way, notice how the oath of office has a "period" at the end of it?
periods mean an ending. they don't mean, "now-you-can-ad-lib-in-any-kind-of-feel-good-*****-like-"so-help-me-god" to the end of the oath.
Obama + Paul - ncairns, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Realism.
- pawchikapawpaw, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2hmm. calling an ongoing war with troops on the ground and generals still working "lost" is not defeatism. what is it, optimism? "we're so confident that we will lose this war". that's pretty optimistic.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -10/+3What is misleading is the "defeatist" DNC support of the Islamo-fascists, no name calling, but calling someone "attack dog" another one of your lies Harry.
DNC the party of hate out in 08.
