thinkprogress.org — Tony Snow and a group of White House reporters had a blog-slamming session during a National Press Club event. Snow said when he looked at blogs he just saw "wonderful, imaginative hateful stuff that comes flying out."

If they would shut up and do their jobs...maybe the blogs wouldn't be so partisan. The mass media is only mildly polarized and hateful compared to blogs. Blogs are pretty much relegated to preaching to the choir.

I hate to sound like a nerd, but the press room should really be just a public BB where accredited journalists can post their questions with the expectation of an answer within 12 hours.

Umm... Have any of you READ the comments on most political blogs? Go take a look at comments on DailyKOS or Malkin. They are filled with ad hominem attacks and hate speech. This is non-news. Political blogs are full of zealots. Wow... what a news flash /sarcasm.
