- alexmroger, on 10/12/2007, -7/+76in order for the president to be credible, HE MUST BE QUALIFIED.
- NeOmega, on 10/12/2007, -3/+55I'm saving this one to hard disk. He summed up the complete incompetance and beauracracy of this administration in a couple of minutes. This is one of the most biting, scathing lashes at the idiocy of beauracracy I have seen in a long time.... and hilarious.
- TrueXtremeIcon, on 10/12/2007, -7/+55@antoniojvr:
Got any proof that he's smarter? A barely passing student at Harvard or Yale is no better than 4.0 student at any other major state funded university.
Oh...and most of the rest of the world can pronounce "nuclear." - TinMan, on 10/12/2007, -6/+52@antoniojvr
That has to be the funniest comment I have ever seen. - Morelia, on 10/12/2007, -1/+43Jon Stewart is a satirical comedian and entertainer .. his focus is parody based on reality, what is Bush's excuse?
- Nougat, on 10/12/2007, -3/+31@weside (#6257270)
Funny how things can semantically belong to multiple categories at once, but technically (on Digg) only belong to one.
It is a video of political opinion. I think its value as Political Opinion is higher than its value as Video; hence I feel it is in the right category. If it was a video of "some guy falling off a roof," then it would go in Videos.
It's just too bad Digg doesn't have a Text category. We could all shout about how most of the content should be in it. - Morelia, on 10/12/2007, -1/+28He's a comedian ... get over it! That is what he says, too! Bush is not a comedian ... Big difference, don't you think? Why are you comparing them? Guilt? Perhaps you are confusing the 2 as competitive because Bush is so darn comical in a sad way.
- bickman2k, on 10/12/2007, -11/+30Nucular, it's pronounced nucular.
- profOblivion, on 10/12/2007, -1/+19"The absurdity of the system provides us with the most material, and that is best served by, sort of, the theater of it all."
-- Jon Stewart
The fact that it's a comedian talking about politics, doesn't change that what he's talking about is a matter of public record, not just something he made up. - NecroSexy, on 10/12/2007, -4/+20I'm not anti-Jon Stewart. I was just saying his sentence missed a period. No one got it.
- rompom7, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17Anyone got a YouTube link.. The download fails.
- brianjlowry, on 10/12/2007, -2/+16@TheBogie
http://www.digg.com/videos/comedy/Kid_Faceplants_Off_Roof_2 - CaptainNoPants, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1415 minutes? The guy's been famous longer than this site has been around, you dolt.
- bigturns, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13Stewart is 'the' ASS KICKER!
- niko8778, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13i would vote for stewart for president, its sad though, when i'd trust a comedian (a really intelligent one at that) over 99% of the government
- brianjlowry, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14@Parent:
Chill out. It's entertaining. - LBTS, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11catchneyez, read your own link, they are not both right. Bush's pronunciation of the word is a metathesis, or a mangling of the correct pronunciation.
- Hervard, on 10/12/2007, -3/+14fail at completing sentences.
- kurtwinter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10blah blah blah - what does it matter anyway? that piece of ***** didn't win in 2004 or in 2000. does it really matter what the voices say when their votes don't count?
- hikaruzero, on 10/12/2007, -4/+14@antoniojvr:
I think you are misunderestimating alexmroger ... - bigturns, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10wtf?
Where did all these anti JS tools come from?
Who on the other side is campaigning such fools against the comedic genius of JS?
Oh, wait, I get it. As Gonzo goes so too does whatever credibility W has left. The blind and loyal, feeling the drop in serotonin for the first time in 6 years, are beginning to lash out.
"The pain is somewhere very close to me" - ubuntuedgy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10@weside
This gets coverered every single day. It is a video directly related to politics. It was posted in the correct place. I wish people would STFU about this. Seriously. - hikaruzero, on 10/12/2007, -3/+12@RobAnybody:
Why, did something change for you?
Remember, just because comedy is funny doesn't mean it isn't true. And in the case of the Daily Show, most of it is based on reality and spun -- not spun to the left, not spun to the right, but spun deep down, way way down, into the pit of your stomach, where laughter is made. Or in your case, where laughter is impeded by an ulcer ... - gellfex, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Stewart is 10 time funnier and 1000 times more relevant and risktaking than Letterman ever was. It's an unfortunate but true statement that he is the voice of truth in the media for this millenia, willing to say without caveats that the emperor has no clothes.
- Morelia, on 10/12/2007, -7/+15It's Jon not John ... and he should be President or maybe KING!
- Yoshi39, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Better link:
http://www.comedycentral.com/motherload/index.jhtml?ml_video=85477 - Kazanoe, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Don't be so rude, he obviously died mid sentence.
- Flashypoo, on 10/12/2007, -8/+13"Victory! Defeat! Victory! Defeat! Vic-- sorry."
Sounds like what we hear every other day.
"This Administration doesn't appear to know what it's doing."
It's taking the Generals this long to say something like that? :-p - stungunjones, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6You whining Bushies are clueless. John Stewart isn't a political commentator. It's sad that this administration is doing so badly that a comedian's jokes are pratical criticism, criticism that you yourself are considering seriously. Do you not see the irony in this?
- fotd42, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I'd say he has a couple of hours under his belt with no end in sight. Nice try though.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Jon Stewart has been destroying Bush on a regular basis. Jon, you rule.
I can only imagine how he would've handled the fascism of Joe McCarthy in the 50's. Good ol' Joe would've been a sitting duck. - crapspakkle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Dugg for the Shmaily Show
- mrlost117, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I found it here
http://www.comedycentral.com/shows/the_daily_show/index.jhtml
I dont know if it will link to the vid directly or load another, but if it does load another the video is called trouble in paradise on their playlist - Urusai, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Poor guy, he's going to have to get a real job if we ever get a real administration.
- CaptainNoPants, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4@jcm267
I'm sure with her money, Paris Hilton could get the same degree.
The Governor thing though...I suspect she could only get as far as County legislature. He's got her there. Touche' Bush. - glaive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Maybe you should just give up and go home?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5FYI: use the list on the right to scroll and find the Jon S. video (funny). The first video that came up was some Carlos Mencia crap (not funny).
Thanks for the link. - Yoshi39, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Correct link:
http://www.comedycentral.com/motherload/index.jhtml?ml_video=85477 - funkspiel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3brilliant
- tucsonsun13, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5I'm still waiting for the Bush administration to answer to this hypocrisy.
Jon Stewart embarrases you on international tv, Mr Bush.....got a rebuttal? anything to say? - sctechguy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Actually, it's the "Schmaley Schmow".
If you haven't seen the clip that he's referring to: http://www.comedycentral.com/motherload/index.jhtml?ml_video=77712 - FongoBongo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3@antoniojvr:
Bush is a compete dumbass, thats a common fact. But I never even considered what to think of people who thought Bush was smart, I just didn't think that was plausible.
You, my stupid friend, are on your own freaking level - TrueXtremeIcon, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5@bickman2k:
I stand corrected :) - hammradio, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3The full video can be found on Motherload:

- knobwrangler, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2is the system broken? why does this kinda stuff go on? last guy almost got a trip to the gallows for a B.J. This dude is basically the anti-christ, and no one can stop it? holy macaroni. mexico's starting to look seem pruddy gewd now.
/tacos - Tikkimann, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Oh, yeah! George Bush still sucks!
I totally forgot about him after that whole Jack Thompson-VTech thing. If you put those guys in a room together, then Einstein entered, the combined stupidity would probably make him go "LOLLERBLADEZ! Hur hur. I llllloves me shotgun..." - jazbek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I didn't lol. It's true.
- mykool, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Technically the bloggers opinion is in text, the text is an opinion about the video.
- diastrachan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1We need to change our government -- we need the ability to remove the president through a no confidence vote. It is ridiculous that this administration will continue in the face of the Iraq debacle, world wide ridicule and our president's ineffectiveness.
