- rahmis4ri, on 01/07/2008, -8/+96Frank Luntz caught using actors for his focus groups.
- Hogskin, on 01/07/2008, -7/+62Frank Luntz? More like Frank Duntz! Fu*k you Frank!!!
- Berkana, on 01/07/2008, -8/+50Frank Luntz is the right wing propagandist mastermind who engineered the oil and coal lobby's global-warming mis-information machine, among other things. (He later changed his mind on the topic, but by that time, the denial machine had acquired a life of its own, but he seems to have no regrets: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-801290181 ... ) This man is one sick SOB whose disregard for truth and manipulation of public perception for what ever end he sees fit/whoever will pay him well has done incalculable harm to our country. Beware of anything Frank Luntz is involved in; nothing he's ever planned (at least in politics) was done in honesty.
- TheRealDj, on 01/07/2008, -3/+31Thank god for *****!
Penn & Teller make the world a better place. - kaelyiesta, on 01/07/2008, -11/+36There was another post debate focus group with Luntz. One of the 'random' people in the room called Dr. Paul certifiably insane. The video then proved that man was a plant, and had been involved in many other such events. I can't find the video even though it was posted on digg. Anyone who has the link should post it. It is at least as damning as this video.
- CerealFan, on 01/07/2008, -6/+29***** you, Frank!
- schroderr224, on 01/07/2008, -8/+28Frank. You're gay. It's cool. Gay is cool. You don't have to hide behind the Republican party's "hide-a-gay" program. Free yourself. You'll be happy you did. All the money you make will not make anyone think you are any less gay. So just be gay.
Oh and ***** you. - barnsaton, on 01/07/2008, -4/+19I love the Ron Paul signs floating back and forth in the window after the NH debate.
- Yage2006, on 01/07/2008, -4/+19I vote for Frank Luntz Biggest douchebag in the universe.
- karaokekidd, on 01/08/2008, -1/+15http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wu1i6GooQY&feature ...
This is the video. And the plant who called Ron Paul insane was Douglas Maher. - mh732, on 01/07/2008, -4/+15***** you, frank!
- understudy, on 01/08/2008, -0/+11So, let me get this straight—
The guy was undecided, then switched to leaning toward McCain, then sometime in four months became undecided again, then decided to participate in the same focus group for the same network, then was chosen by the same group for the same network, then claimed to be completely undecided or wasn't screened, then magically leaned toward McCain again post-debate.
OR . .
FOX repeatedly found people who were leaning yet not technically 'decided', and portrayed them as impartial undecided voters to the American people.
I mean, does anyone believe FOX anymore anyway?
_ - benabbey, on 01/08/2008, -1/+10***** YOU FRANK!
- Mdigg007, on 01/07/2008, -5/+13***** you Frank!
- romistrub, on 01/07/2008, -0/+8jesus christ you're obnoxious...
- gn0stik, on 01/08/2008, -0/+7No, he'd work for Ron gladly, bashing both dems, and republicans. As long as the money is right. That's how pollsters work. C'mon do you think a guy who shamelessly makes a living distorting the facts, actually has a sense of loyalty?
Frank is a Douchebag's douchebag. Much like many around here, who choose whatever "facts" are the most comfortable for them, and fit their view. Some people actually make Frank's job easier for him (both sides). Sad what passes for public consensus these days. They're almost worse. - Shaggy63, on 01/07/2008, -3/+10HAHA.. ***** you Frank. Very funny video
- happyseamonster, on 01/08/2008, -0/+6Well, you're obviously a Republican.
- S1ngular1ty1, on 01/08/2008, -1/+7***** off Frank.
- dongsgalore, on 01/07/2008, -5/+11He did it for the luntz
- repustech, on 01/08/2008, -1/+7***** you frank!!!
- drphred, on 01/07/2008, -3/+9and 100% of Digg readers where not surprised.
- smoothmedia, on 01/08/2008, -1/+7"Stan Marsh? More like Stan Darsh!"
- an0nymous, on 01/08/2008, -0/+6God damn it, I owe you an apology.
I am sorry for my harsh words and unfounded criticism. I shot my mouth off like a jackass.
Sincerely, my apologies. I spoke in anger and without consideration.
I am highly suspicious of the circumstances, but my response was inappropriate and over the top, and I commited exactly the same snap mistaken judgement I suspected you of. - honestjoe, on 01/08/2008, -1/+7@Kaelyiesta
Here's the video of Douglas Maher, who was another of the now many exposed plants by Frank Luntz. http://youtube.com/watch?v=0wu1i6GooQY
Remember these plants from the past. http://elandslide.org/images/miamirioters.jpg
Here is a reminder of what they did. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A310 ...
Guess what many are doing today? The same thing!
Here is a video from Chris Brunner confronting Frank Lutz about priming the plants/random group of undecided voters on how to react and encouraged them to support certain candidates and opinions. This took place right after the focus group discussion. Watch Luntz reaction after Chris said he taped the whole thing at 1:45 and 3:50. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HJaxDt0EbY - happyseamonster, on 01/08/2008, -0/+5Can't... your mother's hogging it.
- humboldt79, on 01/08/2008, -1/+6Damn, didn't someone actually call in once when he was on air and say "***** You Frank"?
- pantone354, on 01/08/2008, -1/+6***** You Frank!
- an0nymous, on 01/08/2008, -0/+5He does seem to have something on his mind.
- TsuruchiBrian, on 01/08/2008, -2/+7But that's already John Edward!
Not to be confused with John Edwards. John Edward is the guy that claims to talk to your dead relatives.
Also Rudy is a Giant Douche and Hillary is a Turd Sandwich - MacSuxWindozSux, on 01/08/2008, -0/+5***** YOU FRANK!
- masamunecyrus, on 01/08/2008, -1/+6Because the same guy showed up in a group of "undecided voters".
And doing this sort of thing is Frank Luntz's JOB. - inactive, on 01/08/2008, -0/+5your "c" key is broken Hogskin
- jaybo1001, on 01/08/2008, -1/+5dugg up for manning up when wrong.. not something you see lots of on digg..
- MacSuxWindozSux, on 01/08/2008, -0/+4*****, you frank!
- gn0stik, on 01/07/2008, -2/+6Except for the fact that he'll work for whoever pays him.
- warlokaz2004, on 01/08/2008, -0/+4***** YOU FRANK! seriously tho...so Fox News/frank use a bunch of shills for focus groups? Big suprise...but gee...how different is that than Clinton events 'filled' with 'volunteers' bused in from another state and not getting called on it by the press? Both sides are filled with double dealing and backstabbing and lies....big suprise.
- masamunecyrus, on 01/08/2008, -1/+5And might I add that the event was invite-only from Fox News.
Furthermore, you can tell that these 'undecided' voters already know what to say because, besides the fact that their speech sounds scripted, but none of them ever stop to think about what they want to say or even say "um". You have to rehearse for that sort of performance, unless you're an excellent public speaker of which the vast majority of people aren't. - airiox, on 01/07/2008, -3/+7Sad he was on the Today show this morning. How do these people continue to use him when they know what kind of person this is. The MSM is so FUBAR it's not even funny.
- inactive, on 01/08/2008, -1/+5You're the type that would rationalize your plight even as you were loaded onto the cattle car.
- SuperMoses, on 01/08/2008, -0/+4And even though he admits to contributing to a campaign of misinformation on global warming, people still believe it's some grand conspiracy created by environmental groups.
- happyseamonster, on 01/08/2008, -0/+4Well, now I KNOW you're a Republican and an Evangelical.
- intangible, on 01/08/2008, -1/+5Spoken like a true "crowd follower". The election is not a sports contest where you want to make sure your team wins, it's to stand up for your beliefs.
- inactive, on 01/07/2008, -3/+7"My questions are designed for a USA Today audience, who don't understand the issues and complexity". Yeah... this whole "audience" are all the voters for Hilary, Huckabee, Guliani, and all the other crooks on Wall Street. If Ron Paul is not elected President, this country is going to hell. The rich get richer, and the poor...will be poorer.
- Berkana, on 01/08/2008, -2/+5True; if Ron Paul tried to hire him, he'd probably core-dump and explode.
- yakski, on 01/08/2008, -3/+6Any pollster worth a cents worth of salt would NEVER use the same people... THAT IS CALLED FRAUD!!
- happyseamonster, on 01/08/2008, -0/+3Thats it! Your a Republican, Evangelical preacher!
- inactive, on 01/07/2008, -7/+10Fox is long noted for this...
