(VIDEO) Ann Coulter: John Edwards Is A 'Faggot'
thinkprogress.org — At a major conservative conference in D.C., pundit Ann Coulter said she was planning on talking about John Edwards "but it turns out you have to go into rehab if you use the word 'faggot."

- mikelieman, on 10/12/2007, -28/+144It's sad to see someone reduced to such childish displays when their 15 minutes of fame are over, but they don't want to let go.
Well, maybe not SAD exactly... - libertao, on 10/12/2007, -92/+19The comment about John Edwards is retarded, but I agree with her (that might be a first) that sending someone to rehab for using the word "faggot" is retarded as well.
- bunji, on 10/12/2007, -22/+130There's a fairly simple explanation for her antics:

//My bologna has a first name; it's B-I-T-C-H. - CandidateZero, on 10/12/2007, -17/+70Well, if she wasn't around to make such immature and unprofessional comments, we wouldn't get to see what kind of constituencies comprise the American Conservative Union. The fact that they all laugh at that stuff, I think, makes them look bad, like a bunch of country club monkeys, "Ooh! Childish insult directed at member of rival party! Oohaahaahaa!"
However, I have my doubts about Coulter. Her career, fame and "relevance" lie solely upon her novelty value as a woman who advocates very hard-line conservative ideology. The more hard-line she is, the more visibility she gets. She is undoubtedly aware that if she softens her stance or isn't as narrow-minded about those ideologies, she would start to lose those things she needs to keep afloat (fame, notoriety, status, etc). I think she may be a fraud. - DogmaticAtheism, on 10/12/2007, -87/+13*****. You know very well that the only reason you say that is because she offended your people, homo.

I heard there was another poll on CNN that pretty much showed without a doubt that uneducated (high school and less) people overwhelmingly believe in polls.
BTW, I am educated. Starting my MBA fall '08.
Proud Ayn Rand conservative, not GWB conservative.
One final note, Alan Greenspan was also an Ayn Rand conservative. I would exactly call him uneducated. - Todalion, on 10/12/2007, -26/+6I have been to a speech by Edwards...i actually think he might be gay. I'm not trying to be funny, I really thought that. This truth brought to you by someone who says a guy might be gay based off of the opinion that he carries himself in a "gay" manner. - V1be, on 10/12/2007, -18/+8@bonesaw
I was in the room at CPAC when she was speaking. The video doesn't do justice to the crowd reaction. The video needs context, first. She was taking all kinds of shots at random Democrats, and people were laughing. She was the comic relief for the day after we heard from pretty much every major conservative presidential candidate in 8 hours. When she made that comment about John Edwards, it was kind of silent for a moment as it sank in the audience. The resulting laughter was extremely nervous and subdued compared to other times - unfortunately the trick of audio makes all crowd reactions sound the same. I wouldn't be so quick for everyone to call conservatives homophobes for laughing at her - whenever there is a large crowd who is listening attentively and laughing at different jokes, it's very difficult to take in the fullness of someone's remarks and actually not react to it. I have observed this with both liberal and conservative speakers.
Besides, at the end, someone asked her a question and she was very quick to remark that she was not homophobic, and certainly conservatives are not against gays; in fact, she said, the conservative party is more supportive of homosexuals than liberals. It's a hard argument to make, but she made a pretty good case for it. Of course, those are not the things that will be shown in the media, ever. In fact, you'll probably never even read about it except in this comment. - orientis, on 10/12/2007, -6/+18@v1be "Besides, at the end, someone asked her a question and she was very quick to remark that she was not homophobic, and certainly conservatives are not against gays; in fact, she said, the conservative party is more supportive of homosexuals than liberals. You had me until this paragraph. It is not possible to make a good case for the conservative parties being more supportive of homosexuals than the liberal parties. The idea is tragically laughable. - V1be, on 10/12/2007, -13/+6@orientis
As I said, it's a difficult argument. Basically her argument was that the only thing conservatives object to is the idea of same-sex marriage, and that beyond that, conservative policies are extremely supportive. For many Christian conservatives, the idea of denying same-sex marriage is not denying rights to homosexuals. I don't agree with that, for the record. She said that conservatives are more supportive because gays are some of the most common targets of crime, and conservatives are astute on reducing crime (for example, Rudy Giuliani cutting crime in half). He also said that homosexuals are generally in the higher income bracket and extremely enterprising individuals, and a lot of conservative policies help those in small business who want to grow their business. - orientis, on 10/12/2007, -4/+13That is ridiculous. It's like saying binge-drinking is good for the environment because people will stumble out of bars and ***** on trees. The connection is spurious.
- wardriver20, on 10/12/2007, -10/+7That was very brave of her.
- MagicBobert, on 10/12/2007, -8/+10Please, whatever you do, DON'T believe that Coulter speaks for all conservatives!
I generally align with the conservative viewpoint, and I think Ann Coulter is a complete idiot. She does not speak for all of us, and honestly I think we'd be better of if she just shut her mouth sometimes and stopped talking. - Kbennett, on 10/12/2007, -7/+9That is a freakishly large Adams apple, even for a man.
- caketank, on 10/12/2007, -5/+23@MagicBobert:
Then why is Ann Coulter invited to speak at major conservative functions, attended by high-profile, mainstream conservatives?
Sorry, but it doesn't wash. Ann Coulter is embraced by the conservative movement to such a degree that one can only assume that her words reflect its views quite well. - broomett, on 10/12/2007, -16/+2str3ama...what about Bill Maher, Jon Stewart, etc.? They aLL do rhe same exact thing.
But you don't see the little pussies at ThinkProgress talk about that.
That is how the Coulters, Stewarts and Mahers stay famous. By being asshoels to mask their lack of talent. - geowrian, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4@orientis
"...conservatives are astute on reducing crime (for example, Rudy Giuliani cutting crime in half). He also said that homosexuals are generally in the higher income bracket and extremely enterprising individuals, and a lot of conservative policies help those in small business who want to grow their business."
While the first point is disputable since liberals want to reduce crime as well and it depends more on the person than the general ideology as to how effective they are, I can see your (and her) point. However, there are far more points that indicate that conservatism does not welcome homosexuals as much as liberals. For instance, many issues involving adoption, raising, and accepting homosexuality within the family are very taboo in conservatism. Overall, she has a point but there are far many more points against her. It doesn't mean she's wrong, but it was foolish to say on the grounds that there is very little evidence to backup the claim and a lot to strike it down. It was just her trying to draw attention liek she always does...nothing more sicne nobody (within reason) takes her seriously. - katyggls, on 10/12/2007, -5/+17@ v1be
Explain to me how Ann Coulter is not a homophobe. She used the word faggot. As an insult. You can try to talk your way around it all day, but the bottom line is that she equates being gay with something insulting, degrading, and derogatory.
Oh and I love, "When she made that comment about John Edwards, it was kind of silent for a moment as it sank in the audience. The resulting laughter was extremely nervous and subdued compared to other times..." Right. The drones were having a little trouble deciding whether it was ok to not laugh at something the almighty Coulter spaketh, even if it was patently offensive to anyone with an ounce of class. But it's ok, they decided to ignore their consciences and go with the flow anyways. Yeah, that's who I want running my country.
As for her being quick to deny that she's a homophobe, it sounds like even she realized what a hateful bitch she sounded like and how it was going to play once it got out. And her ridiculous assertion that conservatives aren't against gays? That's like saying slaveowners weren't against black people. - gaoshan, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13@broomet -> No they don't all do the same things. When John Stewart, for example, rips into some conservative/Republican it is ALWAYS (always... check it out. You will not find one example where he attacks someone for no substantive reason) based on something that said conservative did that is seen as insane/bizarre/corrupt/unfair/unjust/criminal/immoral/unethical/inhuman by a great majority of people hearing about it.
When Ann Coulter rips into some liberal is is almost always based on nothing more than her personal hatred of liberals. Not anything specifically insane/bizarre/corrupt/unfair/unjust/criminal/immoral/unethical/inhuman. She does it all the time... just tossing out names and cruel observations like bile in vomit.
So to recap, Stewart rips people for doing things like killing people, starting unjust wars and commiting criminal and/or unethical acts while Coulter rips people for not sharing her ideology (Or, as in this instance, for being gay. In her warped opinion, anyway). Huge, giant, massive, good-versus-evil difference... not the same thing at all. That you don't or won't see that speaks volumes about your ignorance. - wphj, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6She shouldn't be locked up for saying the word, but John Edwards is a great guy, I've even met him.
He doesn't have the notoriety to win the election, but he would make a great President. - V1be, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2I can't respond to you all, but here's just my general response:
I haven't once said that I believed anything she said, or that I agreed with her. I simply stated my experience of the atmosphere. I don't think homophobia is ok. It's very clear that a lot of these conservatives are - I wouldn't doubt that Coulter is for a second. When I said that that's what she said, I didn't say I believed it, I just said that's what she said. That people read my posts as my philosophy is evidenced by the number of people who clicked thumbs down.
I can't remember people's exact words, but someone made an analogy of my comments to slavery. That's completely ludicrous, and quite frankly a bit rude. I'm an atheist, minority conservative. My origins are with people who were colonized and essentially enslaved for 300 years by white British, and it is indeed for that reason that I'm conservative at all, and I think a lot of others like myself. We have a lot of freedoms in this country that are denied or overshadowed by various idealogical hegemonies elsewhere, and I appreciate them and want to build on them. But it's not important what I believe. The point of my even posting here was to just give you a direct experiential comment that you won't find in the media, who has a penchant for sensationalizing. - Nitrodist, on 10/12/2007, -5/+3Mark says (1:07 AM):

- aaaleman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8She is, for all sense and purposes, irrelevant.
- littlebylittle, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7I don't ever want to hear any Conservative whining that Liberals are rude and crude again, especially you Michelle Mulkin.

Yeah, those Democrats from the hood are regular ivy league graduates. - deesnutz, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8So let me get this straight. She's the one that is constantly calling others gay, homosexual or faggots. Yet, she's the one that looks like a tranny. Calls Bill Clinton (the world's best know womanizer) a homosexual. And now John Edwards who has a wife and kids a faggot.
No Ann (aka Frank) Coulter, you're the one in the closet. And the sad thing is that everyone knows it. You know that you love the chomp on that carpet.
But yet, she's glorified by the Republicans. For a party that hates homosexuals, they surely have alot of them in leadership. Right Mr. Mehlman (the Republican Party's chairman who's gay btw). - littlebylittle, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4So is Condi. Not that it matters.

Newt: Who's your Daddy? - aamir2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3People are right about her attention deficit syndrome, she is a prime example of a media troll. There probably have been media trolls around long before anyone used the term on the internet. I believe it is the absolute filth of our society today who knowingly use slander, abuse and controversy with the sole purpose of attaining their fifteen minutes of fame. The fame that they would have never been able to achieve for a legitimate reason. I learned this concept years ago when I read parts of Salman Rushdie's (IMO a literary troll) Satanic Verses and we continue to see this every day. The degree of controversy may vary but the basic approach is the same, be offensive enough to someone or some group and you will soon be showered with all the limelight and attention that you seek and then some. IMO the best approach towards such trolls in media, internet or real life is not give them the one thing they are seeking so desperately: attention. Just ignore them...
- Technopundit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4When I looked at the image frame on that site, I thought Ann had her head resting on her fist. Turrned out that was just her adam's apple.
- argusboy, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1What I think is funny is that John Edwards has not denied it. I received an email from John Edwards this weekend saying that it was wrong to saying such bigotry... meaning she defiled the word "faggot." Yet, no where in his "Official" reply did he denounce that fact. He only implied that it was offensive to homosexuals. Yes what she said was very uncouth and dirty, but the jury is still out on Edwards.
In his official email reply David Bonior states...
Dear Friend,
Did you hear about Anne Coulter's speech this afternoon attacking John? A friend just forwarded me the video and it's one of the worst moments in American politics I've seen. I can't bring myself to even repeat her comments. Her shameless display of bigotry is so outrageous you actually have to see for yourself to believe it...
Thanks,

John Edwards for President - JustinCase18, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Coulter is a political "comedian". Actually, Coulter's function is to be so outlandish that genuine right wing views appear to be more moderate and acceptable. Her ilk pulls the entire public discourse to the right, shifting the perceived center in the process. - kronix2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It cracks me up when hard-line conservatives like Coulter start scaremongering about the "extreme left". Anybody to the left of Mussolini is considered "extreme left" by people like her.
The UK has had "extreme left-wing" policies for hundreds of years, and we've done ok. Free healthcare, redistribution of wealth, a rejection of fundamentalist Christianity, powerful central government, non-political judges and a strong judiciary, civil rights for blacks and homosexuals, secularism, intolerance of neo-Nazi groups and so on. Hell, even the *Conservative Party* is now in favour of socialist policies such as free healthcare, wealth redistribution and the breaking down of class barriers.
Ann Coulter is a real-life troll. She makes absurd statements in order to provoke reactions from people who find bigotry offensive. She likes to style herself as the darling of the right, but it's pretty clear that she's a transsexual parody of conservatism.
- crashnburn275, on 10/12/2007, -11/+98I'm completely ok with everything Coulter says. It makes the Republican party seem far more extremist and crazy than most of them are, thus swinging more moderate voters the other way.
- thehomeskillet, on 10/12/2007, -9/+112I would like to leave a comment about Ann Coulter, but digg won't let me say c***, so I think I'll just conclude here.
- nixonrichard, on 10/12/2007, -10/+54Wait, really? . . . *****.
EDIT: Wait, really? . . . gullible. - amoirae, on 10/12/2007, -7/+14How about: Sperm Burping Gutter Gash? I think that defines her well.
- heavensblade23, on 10/12/2007, -7/+18In order for her to burp sperm, someone would have to be sexually attracted to her.
- amoirae, on 10/12/2007, -8/+5What's scary is that Bill Maher tapped that scary ass.
- sebnukem, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15I know someone who's attracted to Skeletor with a wig.
- kolobcreek, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1I bet you don't hear him deny it.
- sicc, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2OMG NO! SHE SAID FAGGOT!
This is unbelievable, what has the world come to? This is the biggest world crisis in 20 years!
No really, who gives a ***** if she used the word faggot? Personally, it's one of my favorite words.
- nixonrichard, on 10/12/2007, -10/+54Wait, really? . . . *****.
- SwissCamel, on 10/12/2007, -56/+7The truth can hurt....
- Dumbledorito, on 10/12/2007, -7/+59Which is why she seems to steer well clear of it at every opportunity.
- Aliasing, on 10/12/2007, -5/+20Honestly if there really was a massive left-wing conspiracy, we could hardly do better to harm the right-wing then Ann Coulter; I think that woman alienates moderates from her side better then anything we could ever do.
- Billiam627, on 10/12/2007, -10/+23Arianna Huffington would kick the ***** out of that loud mouth.
- Popdmb, on 10/12/2007, -17/+6Arianna Huffington is equally as unqualified at thinking as Anne Coulter. The difference? Huffington isnt a man.
- greymaxcat, on 10/12/2007, -28/+11Ann Colter is a *****. Hillary is a bitch, Rudy is fruity, Romney is a paligimist, Obama hates white people, Rush is a big fat liar, Al Gore is a tree.
...
... See I can insult people too... but we should really save this type of talk for after the primaries. - sacr3dc0w, on 10/12/2007, -12/+65John Edwards urine probably produces more constructive solutions for our government than all of Coulters queefs in her lifetime combined.
- bluto36, on 10/12/2007, -13/+4it is mighty hard to pee when you are running after ambulances.
- sshelato, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Ok, that's even less of a joke than Coulter's. I know it sounds good to tack an "all of X combined, ever" phrase on the end of a statement, but it's really not what you'd call "necessary". And in this case it kills the joke. What IS funny, is how he got dugg up for said half-joke; much like how Coulter's supporters blindly applaud her failures based on her target alone.
- mikefitz2, on 10/12/2007, -67/+7faggots usually dont like bush, which means they like terrorits, i dont get what the problem is cause god tells me that faggots are a sin to america which is the greatest country in the world
- tsf5000, on 10/12/2007, -5/+25you might be the stupidest person on the plant. congratulations.
- mobbo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4How do people like this know how to get on the internet? I bet his ISP is AOL and he probably types URL's into Google to get to them.
- b3mus3d, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2OH NO A TERRORIT!
hehe, he's obviously a troll. - rossinio, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3jesus guys, thats clearly sarcasm! No wonder there are so many trolls, its like fishing!
- tsf5000, on 10/12/2007, -5/+25you might be the stupidest person on the plant. congratulations.
- uncle_jesse, on 10/12/2007, -18/+5"that's so gay!"
- jktstance, on 10/12/2007, -4/+11Please, just ignore her.
- RoloTomasie, on 10/12/2007, -7/+26I really have no problem with conservatives on the whole, considering, as a libertarian, that we share a good deal of ideology, but I really want Anne Coulter to die.
- nyx210, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18And she looked so proud after she said it...
- techweenie, on 10/12/2007, -4/+15Does anyone really pay attention to "Mann" Coulter?
- ChooseReality, on 10/12/2007, -10/+18What a wretched *****! Seriously, if anyone is most deserving of being kicked in the uterus it's that bitch. I'm no fan of Edwards but Coulter is just such a disgusting whore.
- ColonelJessup, on 10/12/2007, -27/+5I would still so hit that........
it's a joke........
ha ha ha?
*crickets chirping*
..........................- ProximaC, on 10/12/2007, -3/+30With a brick maybe.
- Dumbledorito, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14You have to kill it with fire.
- erkokite, on 10/12/2007, -7/+47I hope Anne Coulter gets her adams apple stuck in the door of a moving vehicle.
- mancat, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14best mental image of the week
- Cam_86, on 10/12/2007, -5/+24Who the ***** cares what she thinks? In fact, if this does ANYTHING, it further discredits the extreme right in America. I mean we have video proof they are a group of homophobic assholes now. They can no longer play the 'family values' card when they bitch about gay marriage. Its cause they are a bunch of bigots. So the people who truly benefit here, are the moderate and progressive Americans. After all, who wants to vote/donate to a group that blatantly judges people based off there sexual orientation?
- Cam_86, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6@drexle
You're right... I was still in my 'Canadian mindset'... Were even the homophobic people are not stupid and arrogant enough to demand the foundation of the country be re-worked to put discrimination into the 'charter of rights'(Canadian constitution) - caketank, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4"Who cares what she thinks" is exactly the right question. The answer seems to be CPAC, and every person speaking or in attendance who doesn't go on the record otherwise. Here's a partial list:

- Cam_86, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6@drexle
- artificial001, on 10/12/2007, -6/+36OH SHE GOT HIM!
that proved to me that John Edwards is definitely not fit to run the country, not because of his credentials but because one bitch thinks he's a faggot - smoothlou, on 10/12/2007, -3/+22I'm still mad that George Carlin didn't give her a karate chop to the trachea on the Tonight Show last year.
- kwaddell, on 10/12/2007, -6/+22you mean her Adams apple
- offput, on 10/12/2007, -5/+12Oh I thought she was talking about John "Crossing Over" Edward... and I was strangely aroused
- SlvrEagle23, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'd hit that...but grandpa would be watching...
- UtOh, on 10/12/2007, -5/+43What makes me sick is the reaction of the conservatives, many of whom are religious. How can they laugh and clap at calling anyone a Faggot (a word which derives from Nazi Germany to describe how dead homosexuals piled up looked a lot like firewood)
WWJD? Not that- Karyyk, on 10/12/2007, -4/+10It's actually quite a bit older than that:
"A faggot or fagot is a bundle of sticks or branches, usually meant for use as firewood. It derives ([1]) through the Old French fagot and the Italian diminutive fagotto from the Latin facus ("bundle"), coming into Middle English no later than 1279. It has also been used on occasion to refer more specifically (attested from 1555 in English) to wood for funeral pyres or a burning at the stake." - Urusai, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Amusingly, "faggot" and "fascist" have the exact same derivation.
- Ninja337, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No karyyk, Godwin's Law is so much more exciting than the real etymology.
- sooperdooper, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Thank you, Karyyk, for the etymology of the word "faggot," which everyone knows. And thank you, UtOh, for the etymology of the modern use of the word. Dugg you both up.
- Karyyk, on 10/12/2007, -4/+10It's actually quite a bit older than that:
- rtini, on 10/12/2007, -6/+11Ann Coulter is such an iconic neocon. The republicans should disown her.
- Karyyk, on 10/12/2007, -5/+14Not all conservatives are fans...
"In 2001, as a contributing editor and syndicated columnist for National Review Online (NRO), Coulter was asked by editors to make changes to a piece written after the September 11 attacks. On the national television show Politically Incorrect, Coulter accused NRO of censorship and claimed she was paid $5 per article. NRO dropped her column and terminated her editorship. Jonah Goldberg, editor-at-large of NRO, said, "We did not 'fire' Ann for what she wrote ... we ended the relationship because she behaved with a total lack of professionalism, friendship, and loyalty [concerning the editing disagreement]." - an0nymous, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Karykk is contributing. Quit digging him down.
- Karyyk, on 10/12/2007, -5/+14Not all conservatives are fans...
- Phr00t, on 10/12/2007, -6/+11What the hell? How does Ann Coulter expect people to react to that? It is suppose to help her cause?
"Let's degrade both John Edwards and gay people at the same time! However, I am too perfect to have a discussion about it, so I'll just call some people names and leave..."
[sarcasm] Yay conservatives! Way to go! You are making yourself look better everyday! [/sarcasm]- Ninja337, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2gb2 Gaia Online
- earthtoandy, on 10/12/2007, -8/+5name calling FTW!
I not see the error of my ways, ann coulter is right bout everything!
seriosuly why arent conservatives embarassed by this monstrosity of improperly firing synapses?- crouse, on 10/12/2007, -7/+4Because the people whom are impressed by her are generally those that get excited by the three word slogans and never go beyond that. They are not out of substance but rather just believe they are right and don't want to listen to other point of views.
- matbranyon, on 10/12/2007, -13/+9Ann Coulter is actually part of the left wing conspiracy to discredit the right.
It's working. - KnightMareInc, on 10/12/2007, -6/+6dont give that idiot any attention, buried.
- phlezk, on 10/12/2007, -8/+12What a god damn stupid *****.
- Sharra, on 10/12/2007, -5/+5I find it funny how she says people are sent to, or have to go to rehab, when the reality is people flee to rehab to try to shift the blame for their bigotry to something else. She has to be the most worthless beast to ever crawl out of the sewers and I don't understand the fascination people have with her.. though I don't understand the fascination people have with anyone who just spews lies and half truths all the time.. guess it all depends on how much it aligns with your own personal beliefs.
- Scopitone, on 10/12/2007, -7/+14Wow, she has bigger balls than Andrew Dice Clay!
Physically - kurotenshi, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3lol, it looks like that dumb bitch is wearing a sith robe...
- Calann, on 10/12/2007, -9/+26Liberals debate issues, conservatives cannot so they resort to grade-school name calling. Typical.
- RVflyer01, on 10/12/2007, -20/+3Are you out of your ***** mind? All of the debate-losing labels that are common place in society today were dreamed up by liberals. Almost all
of them end in either *ist or *phobe. Think about it, *****.
- RVflyer01, on 10/12/2007, -20/+3Are you out of your ***** mind? All of the debate-losing labels that are common place in society today were dreamed up by liberals. Almost all
- robdowns, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13Stay classy.
- PrometheuZ, on 10/12/2007, -12/+7Will someone just kill this ***** already...can at least one volunteer creep up behind this bitch and chop all her hair off as they're snapping her neck over their knee while beheading her blonde bowling-ball of a head off and rolling it into a pyre of fire??? Oh did I get carried away? I'm seriously sorry bout that...NOTTTTTTTT!!!
- Raian, on 10/12/2007, -6/+3My initial reaction is similar-- but it is just better she be kept alive forever so she can look back and be embarrassed for an eternity, at a) how wrong she was, and b) what a jackass she was.
- winnch, on 10/12/2007, -8/+7This is disgusting.
It's the equivelent of calling Barack Obama something else... And you know what I mean.
She ought to apologize. And that would hardly make her even. - bryannnnn, on 10/12/2007, -7/+11I LOVE her wikipedia description.
"She is a stupid faggot and deserves to die, she is ***** crazy."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ann_Coulter- paulb0t, on 10/12/2007, -6/+0I really had forgotten all about that wasted space, so I looked her up and saw the carefully constructed edit. Pure gold, so I did a capture for when it gets changed. http://www.flickr.com/photos/7176505@N07/408234644/

ANNE COULTER IS A MAN/THE DEVIL! - boiledhotdogs, on 10/12/2007, -32/+5Ann Coulter is slowly becoming my new hero!
- givemereplay, on 10/12/2007, -8/+23That's because you're an idiot.

she did it for the lulz.
- anthonyl, on 10/12/2007, -10/+2
- maestroh, on 10/12/2007, -5/+6you're only giving her what she wants by talking about it. the bitch is a media whore
- reed311, on 10/12/2007, -4/+16This is the equivalent of talking about a black-person and saying "I wanted to talk about John Smith today, but you have to go to rehab if you use the word nigger".
The worst part, is that all the conservatives in the crowd were cheering this hateful speech.- SilverBack101, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Those conservatives tend to end up cheering for any kind of hateful speech depending on their collective menstrual cycle.
Just look at their history...it used to be speeches against Jews, Irish, Catholics, Italians, Poles, Blacks, Germans, Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese, Russians, Mexicans, now Homosexuals and Muslims.
Who's left to hate?
Seems like they need something to hate to exist as a group of people......either that or they tend to have slight brain defects that affect their sense of reality and tolerance. - dtfinch, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Your analogy would work if faggot was a euphemism for straight. She's not even smart enough to get her insults right.
- SilverBack101, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@dtfinch
LOL!

- ArntorFTL, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9I would have something to say about Ann Coulter, but when you tend to get looked at negatively when you joke about violence against women. So I will just leave it at that.
