- sandostrich, on 10/08/2008, -0/+9Thank you to everyone helping me and my dog Ratchet. He's a wonderful little fellow and I can't wait to have him home. That's going to take a lot of effort, and all the dollars, phone calls, emails, petition signatures, and support go a long way! I appreciate it all so much! Thanks again, and keep fighting!
- katiekonrath, on 10/09/2008, -0/+6No, it's not guaranteed. The only thing that can get Ratchet home is an official military release before the middle of next week.
However, the more attention we can get for this issue, the better. So spread the word as much as possible: forward it to friends, call the MN senators/representative listed in the article, write to news tip lines.
We're working on getting Ratchet's story out there, but we don't have much time.
Also, if you can, donate even a tiny bit to Baghdad Pups. It's expensive for them to rescue the dogs and Ratchet needs a new plane ticket out. Every cent helps. https://www.baghdadpups.com/donation/contribute.ph ... - sandostrich, on 10/08/2008, -0/+6Thank you! I really appreciate it! Every single dollar helps our pups and kitties. I'm moved that you find our story so important. *hugs* -Gwen
- lombarmc, on 10/09/2008, -0/+5Signed the petition and forwarded the petition to 23 other people...hopefully we can get a chain effect going. Also posted a bullitan on myspace for this....WE WANT RATCHET IN THE US!
- blippityblop, on 10/08/2008, -0/+5I only have $200 to my name at the moment. But I decided to donate $5 to Baghdad Pups in hopes that when Gwen comes home Ratchet will be waiting for her. Along with the 70+ animals that will be waiting for their friends. It's the least I could do for our troops in a time of need.
- ardath, on 10/09/2008, -0/+4I signed the petition and sent it on to my list. Hopefully we'll get him home. Donation on its way.
Ardath - katiekonrath, on 10/08/2008, -1/+4Don't you forget to digg this too, Gwen! :-b All this effort for you, and I'll be miffed if you forget. (Just kidding.)

They posted another press release this afternoon, and have a link to their petition on their website as well.
Many, many thanks to everyone who is helping bring Ratchet home. - ansatsu29, on 10/09/2008, -0/+3I dont mind if I lose sleep just because I finished writing a blog update about this...I know in my humble way, I can help beating the drum about Ratchet's plight.
Here's the link: http://ansatsu29.wordpress.com/
I may be living in another country but I know, this is the best way that I can do for Sgt. Beberg and Ratchet as well as the other soldiers and their pets out there in Iraq. - lombarmc, on 10/09/2008, -1/+3BTW If we can get 1000 signatures, is it guaranteed that Ratchet will come home?
- Lythia, on 10/13/2008, -0/+1Signed last week and donated today. Hope its not too late.
- Farron, on 10/11/2008, -0/+1I signed the petition too. I really hope Ratchet is ok, and gets to the US soon.
- MARS22, on 10/12/2008, -0/+1We made a video about for Operation Baghdad Pups -
