leaving aside the question of whether the item i'm commenting on isn't an equally stark example of what i'm asserting, invite you to do a google search og the terms "progressives are traitors".
here are the first ppage and a half of results. once again, it is all progressive writers on progressive blogs conjuring this notion that republicans are always victimizing them with the word "traitor" without even trying to cite an example oof this happpening in real life. pretty odd for people who want too extend habeus corpus to illegal combatants. haveing conjured this myth they feel perfectly covered to call republicans traitors.
