- imacommi, on 07/14/2008, -1/+23Why is this still even a discussion? The American people don't want war with Iran, Iran doesn't want war with us. Sounds like the discussion is over. Leave them the ***** alone! Why can't we just normalize relations with these people? I'm sure we could resolve any differences we had if we would just start a real dialog and stop dictating what the rest of the world should be doing... Bring back the republic!
- inactive, on 07/14/2008, -1/+20So how about we stop him for committing the world to self annihilation. Impeach and convict the Bush/Cheney machine for high treason and crimes against humanity before we get ourselves involved in a global conflict against the rest of the world.
- CoolHandLuke70, on 07/15/2008, -1/+7Fools or people with a different agenda from what they let on. Hidden hegemonic agendas to create the chaos that their order is to come from(ordo ab chao).

- Boeing777, on 07/15/2008, -2/+8the US is truly fighting the wrong enemy. Those who think that israel is our best friend are living a biblical fantasy.
Our reputation has been tarnished by a so called "friend" pretending to lead a so called "sectarian democracy" which gives rights by ethnicity and religious beliefs. Is this a democracy worth protecting and fighting for ? Is this a friend worth billions upon billions of tax payers money?
If you think so then prepare to live a worsening world crisis for hundreds and hundreds of years. - CoolHandLuke70, on 07/15/2008, -2/+7I think that we should impeach the whole administration even if it was their last day on the job. We should even push to get Alberto Gonzales hired back JUST TO impeach him too! The problem is that impeaching Spurious George will take too long to protect from this insanity. Also remember that W cannot tie his own shoes let alone be allowed to make any of these decisions. All of the Bushes with a few more IQ points were given more important jobs to do. W is given orders not the other way around. Bush has an approval rating of around 20% and Congress has an approval rating of around 9% as of late. It seems only too evident that our government is intent on carrying out an agenda and could care less what 80% to 91% of the country think! Impeach the whole administration is what I say --- but do not think that they will let their goals leave their grasp --- Obama will change nothing as was witnessed by his support of the FISA bill. Folks, wake up....."this is the end, beautiful friend, this is the end, my only friend, the end, of our elaborate plans, the end, of everything that stands, the end, no safety or surprise, the end, I'll never look into your eyes, again.........."
- peacepower, on 07/15/2008, -1/+6Another Jim Morrison quote comes to mind: "They got the guns but we got the numbers." Nothing short of massive civil disobedience in a peaceful manner can get their attention. The Congress is controlled by Democrats, but they are equally in service to our tiny troublesome friend, Israel, so you can expect no help from them.
The majority of this country's citizens are still asleep. They aren't ready to be demonstrating, not yet anyway. By the time they have realized how deep is the ***** we're in, it will be too late.
I've given up on politics, I'm counting on Divine Intervention because Bush, Cheney, Pelosi, Obama, McCain and the rest of the Neocon choir are beyond being reasoned with. - ZZeke, on 07/15/2008, -1/+4Mike, did you just say "bomb Iran"? - because that's all I'm hearing....oh wait, that was the television, my bad!
- ciaran036, on 07/15/2008, -0/+2We create our own reality - don't wait for "divine intervention"!

But digg the older one and this one - get this story more attention! - quesi, on 07/15/2008, -1/+3tiny troublesome "friend" indeed
we don't have the numbers until we wake the others. - DepthStrike, on 08/23/2008, -0/+1Funny how people can be so twisted in their heads that The Dark Knight becomes a huge hit but nobody is able to take the hint, step over their pompous arrogance and do the right thing in the finale with the two ferries:
