- ladyjusa, on 05/23/2008, -0/+13If it was not for those who gave all there would be no capitalism to begin with. I agree with your comments but there are times when capitalism is done in bad taste, and to me Memorial day is one of those times, but capitalism is what keeps our economy strong..

As long as the people who recognize the true meanings of these holidays pass on the true meanings of these holidays, it's all good. Now, when others that don't want to recognize the holiday try to remove it or rename it, it's our duty to speak out. For instance, if someone wanted to stop calling it Memorial day and rename it Cook Out day, I'd have a LARGE problem with that. ;-)
