- CaptainNoPants, on 12/21/2007, -7/+4So when are you kicking off this revolution? Should I bring punch and pie?
- iraq, on 12/21/2007, -1/+8As long as you promise to wear pants, you can bring whatever you like.
- CaptainNoPants, on 12/21/2007, -1/+4I promise nothing. Seriously though, when is this going down
- iraq, on 12/21/2007, -0/+5re: Your other question,... it may be subtle, but the revolution has already begun. Pay attention and you'll see that 'real change' is the only possible outcome.
- henro112358, on 12/21/2007, -0/+4Awww I wanted to wear my kilt to the revolution!
- sestalker, on 12/22/2007, -0/+1I'm a scot :D

- SeethisPass, on 12/21/2007, -0/+8The government is a lot too big.
- sestalker, on 12/22/2007, -0/+3This is not the first time in this week, where I have read a blog, and felt as though I could have written it. Kudos.
- ussoldier, on 12/22/2007, -0/+4A revolution can not happen until the gun laws are smashed, or people start stock piling beefier weapons than rifles through an underground market. Its going to take belt fed weapons, assault rifles, shoulder fired rockets, and open raids on military bases. There is a reason the government allows people to keep rifles, pistols, shotguns, etc... they are nearly completly marginalized against modern weapons which the military has a lock on. You can't defend yourself against carpet bombing with a shotgun, and you can't take out an attack helicopter with a rifle, and a pistol isn't going to do you any good against a belt fed SAW.
The constitution drafters foresaw this and stated clearly in the constitution, that US citizens should have the right to 'bear arms' when the time came to overthrow the inevitable tyrany that raises its head from a long period of acquiescence protecting freedoms as they are eroded. There is nothing it that 'limits' what those arms can be... legislators have passed illegal laws to chip away at it. As far as the original founders were concerned, you could own any weapon, any weapon you felt could as a last resort be used to defend yourself against a tryanical government. Shoulder fired rockets, suitcase nukes, howitzers, attack helicopters, warbirds, tanks, anything... that the civilian population would have a balance of power with the military to keep them in check. Unfortunatly, that does not exist at all at this time, which is why people can complain and bitch all they want, but nothing will happen until they start arming themselves with serious weapons and training for it.- revo764, on 12/22/2007, -0/+2Exactly! Buy an assault rifle now while you still can, the founding fathers warned you to do this to protect yourself from DOMESTIC ENEMIES.
- iraq, on 12/22/2007, -0/+1This war will NOT take place in the trenches and won’t be won with guns or knives. This revolutionary war is taking place among America’s elite over control of our nation’s future. I am not trying to derail your message, but what the article discusses is a war that is 'invisible', one that can't be won with guns or knives. This is a war that will happen over time, but it has already begun and there are 'politicians' that are fighting the good fight, there are lawyers and judges that are putting themselves out on a limb to help get us back on track. Your comments are interesting to me because it shows me how angry and ready people are to take it to another level, but the only way to achieve anything meaningful of this 'silent revolution' is to embrace those that are fighting for the cause of true liberty and freedom in the world.
- iraq, on 12/22/2007, -0/+1GUNS ARE NOT THE SOLUTION, but I appreciate your enthusiasm. If you believe our gun rights need to be restored, that might take decades or longer, you have to start using your minds to win this war. If you think revolution is impossible without weapons, just sit back and watch it happen and I hope you'll join in at a later time.
A Revolution of ideas, new ways of thinking and changing how Americans perceive themselves and the world may be a far more effective 'revolution' than a people who seek to arm themselves and take the government by violent force. In fact, if violent force is your solution to solving America's problems... you've already conceded that your mind has been enslaved. The reason that people feel empowered via technology is because now, governments have to use their brains rather than brute force to 'win' this war. They also have a choice, help this uprising of the technologically advanced and America's elite or attempt to fight the people... which would be a mistake. There are too many Americans who are ready to voice their opinions and the media itself can crush the government corruption or at least keep it under control.- iraq, on 12/22/2007, -0/+1p.s. this is why it is so important to start fighting this war with your minds, this is why Ron Paul has been so important to this movement, this is why it's important to round up allies in the Democratic and Republican parties... before the State gets out of control, and I'd argue it already has on some levels, it must be stopped. Voters and people with strong opinions that are ready to reveal the truth to the masses are important to this movement.
