- redwolfwalker, on 02/16/2009, -4/+22"Muslim terrorist groups have revived the old radical networks that spread subversion across the free world. Or rather they hitched a free ride on them in a cynical marriage of convenience between left wing radicals and right wing fascist theocracts....The new agitators do not deliver speeches to the "Farmers and Workers" in public parks. They quietly kill those who fall out of line. Occasionally they practice acts of terrorism to intimidate or recruit, but mostly they (prepare) and wait. .... For Islam to win, the American experiment must be conclusively destroyed at the economic level.. to make way for Sharia finance..." (from the article)
- gbudavid, on 02/16/2009, -3/+15FTA: Subsidiary nations such as China or the UAE or for that matter Russia, have experienced parasitic economic booms that came from supplying products to America and Europe. When the American and European economies suffered setbacks, their crumbled. This should be a reminder that Lenin's quote "the capitalists will sell us the very rope that we will hang them with", is now more relevant than ever. The countries that pose the greatest threat to us, are also economically intertwined with us. Our dollars represent their prosperity.
- fadeout, on 02/17/2009, -0/+3"America is not the only free market democracy in the world, but it is the largest,"
About a billion Indians might disagree with that. - SatoriSeeker, on 02/17/2009, -0/+1I don't agree with the article really but the fact remains there are a lot of problems with the monetary system that manifest, without fail, as an ever expanding federal government and an ever increasing concentration of wealth in the hands of a select few. These few are the ones with access to the limitless fiat money creation spigots that are government, its partners in private industry, and the bankers who get to create 90% of their loans out of nothing. Money does grow on trees for a select few. The savings of all the people in the nation are now socialized in such a way that any money these privileged few spend into existence for their gain comes at the expense of the buying power of everyone's existing savings regardless of if they've asked or not. Reform the monetary system first if you want to protect liberty from tyrants, restore personal freedom and reduce government's scope and corruption.

- C0ntraRadical, on 02/16/2009, -7/+5Tying terrorism to communism is really a masterstroke for fear-mongering propagandists.
