  • bizjet747, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Great questions, excellent commentary. The 5 main reasons he lists for Bush lying to the country and invading in Iraq are all true to some extent. However, what the author left out is the most important reason! TO PROTECT THE PETRODOLLAR. Saddam switched from selling his oil in dollars to selling it in Euros. This alone is a declaration of ECONOMIC WAR. What makes the U.S. so powerful is the PETRODOLLAR, it's the reserve currency of the entire PLANET. Iran has announced it will now accept Euros instead of Dollars, it has not forced it yet; thus IRAN IS BUSH'S next target.
