  • bg2500, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2I think most of the problems are a result of US citizens not seeing the big picture. They pick one issue that they feel strongly about and vote based on that issue. For example, lets take gun control, I have heard people say they vote republican because they are afraid they dems will take their guns away. I want to scream every time I hear something like that. I am for the most part against gun control, but I didn't and would never vote for someone like Bush. That's just one issue, it could be abortion, terrorism, gay marriage etc...

    The point is, people need to step back and look at the big picture objectively rather than put the blinders on and emotionally cling to one issue.
