Minimum wage is not a social safety net. It is a liberal feel good issue that harms the very people it is intended to help. - sq2shooter, on 07/24/2008, -0/+2It is foolish to think that small companies can afford to employ people doing menial labor for $10/hour and not expect them to be forced to reduce numbers. You want to know why people make $6.50/hour? It is because the work they do is worth $6.50 hour.
