The MSM is so biased, thank goodness we have digg!
farm4.static.flickr.com — I'm an independent, and while I'm not enthusiastic about Obama or McCain, imho, they're both far better candidates than any of the choices in 2000 or 2004. While I don't have a horse in this race thus far, this is just embarrassing for a community that has such venom for mainstream media bias...

- digg it
- ssn697, on 07/23/2008, -5/+13It's the horror of the Ron Paul spammers redux. Only this time, I am pretty sure it is going to last all the way to the election.
- Hortnon, on 07/24/2008, -2/+13I like how two of them even have the same overused picture.
- jcm267, on 07/24/2008, -1/+8Three. Look at the "top news" column on the right.
- jcm267, on 07/24/2008, -2/+12And the one that wasn't HuffPo was Kos. How wonderful.
- HumanCattle, on 07/24/2008, -7/+5You guys should form some kind of brigade to bury all of these submissions.
- mikesbaker, on 07/24/2008, -1/+3let me preface this by saying I agree huff post blows. but...
1) this is popular in world news / US Elections not the front page of digg
2) ad block - ever heard of it?- InRussetShadows, on 07/24/2008, -0/+3I think his point was that Digg is so far to the left that their complaining about the bias of the MSM is pretty ridiculous.
- KMye, on 07/24/2008, -1/+11) While I'm really disappointed in the digg community in general for its promotion of HP especially, and burying any stories - even from reliable sources like factcheck.org - that are remotely critical of something Obama's done or said, I respect the right of digg to frontpage whatever it thinks should be there if it's really a majority and not manipulation, and if it's real stories and not spam. InRussetShadows is absolutely right; if it's going to be like that, I just wish the same people promoting the Obama (or much more often, anti-McCain) stories would stop bitching about MSM bias. The "CBS covers up McCain Gaffe" comments sections were particularly ridiculous, and the inspiration for this.
2) Yes - I have an exception rule for digg. Despite all of its frustrations like the above, I think they provide a service here worth dealing with a few ads... :)
- legolas68, on 07/24/2008, -0/+2The logic that let's these spam articles float to the front-page of any section is flawed and is obviously being manipulated. This is becoming a credibility issue for Digg.
Like I've said before, I use Digg as a poor man's RSS feed for the left-wing agenda. - badfrog, on 07/25/2008, -0/+1Yes, I'm sick of the Huffpost takeover. I want work-slacking links, not Liberal spam.
