- gpat, on 10/11/2007, -1/+13The draft is the clearest example of slavery. It fits all the definitions of slavery. Those who advocate the draft must be honest enough to admit they advocate slavery. I imagine all those who do, would not be subject to a draft. Should they start with your mothers? daughters? sons? Is that all their lives are worth to you - to be sacrificed to the state?
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -2/+11They just keep driving home the point that there is NO difference between neocons and Democrats. The Democrats have effectively taken over the Republican Party. Save a few men, one of them is Ron Paul.
- Palmetto, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7Spoken like a true socialist... BAN BAN BAN.. I don't like what I am hearing, censor that person!
- Mrhuh, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Junkyard dog, how exactly are these people cheating in online polls? Are you meaning to tell me that a ten-term Congressman who has won many awards from people for his principled opposition to big government (as opposed to just empty rhetoric like most Republicans), and also his having delivered over hundreds of babies to many families can't actually have a whole lot of real supporters and that the few that he does have must be fixinng polls. Or are you naive and unrealistic enough to actually think that the vast majority of Americans buy the swill that comes from the left-wing and the so-called "right-wing" in this country about how they hate us becaus of our freedoms, even though our country is far less free than it was in 1907.
- davidjcrouch, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Edwards represents what statists of all persuasions are really all about.
Wealth obtained through legal extortion (force) via an emotionally appealing closing argument based on channeling dead people (faith based evidence) and other dubious forms of "evidence."
Edwards then secured political power with the ill-gotten loot coupled with an emotional appeal to the lowest kind of vices to be found in human beings e.g. envy, greed and the ever reliable something for nothing.
The anti-intellectual belief that government is somehow justified in initiating the use of force to impose it's collective will on individual human beings is the bedrock concept of the left, the neocons as well as many of those on the right.
The draft is just one particularly odious manifestation of that bedrock concept. - bartscott57, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3It is absurd to claim Ron Paul supporters are fixing polls. If it were so easy, why aren't supporters of other candidates swamping the Ron Paul supporters then?
That's because almost everybody who supports one of the jokers running against Ron Paul is paid to do so. - Palmetto, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/487443841?ltl=1179941515
A Petition for Fair and Equal Treatment in the Media of Dr Ron Paul's Presidential Election Campaign - percephonecd, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3You're an idiot-L Ron Hubbard and Ron Paul are two separate people.
- wpwbigdaddy, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Hey Dawg, I clicked on your link. There were some good libertarian sites that I had not heard about. Thanks for the tip.
- Junkyarddawg, on 10/11/2007, -8/+1Haha, an electronic petition started by a bunch of kooks with a long and well-documented history of cheating in online polls. I just BET you'll get lots of signatures!
- Junkyarddawg, on 10/11/2007, -10/+2More pointless L Ron Paul spam. Let's hope the digg moderators smell the coffee and ban the offending sites. http://www.digg.com/tech_news/10_Sites_That_Violate_Digg_s_TOS
