- OBDriftwood, on 04/09/2008, -2/+14"The Enumerated Powers Act currently has 44 co-sponsors in the House. In the Senate, it has never had a single co-sponsor, and that's a Senate that includes our three presidential aspirants. The question one might ask is why would Sens. Obama, Clinton and McCain have a distaste for, and fail to support, a measure binding them to what the Constitution actually permits?"
- inactive, on 04/09/2008, -5/+13Ron Paul is the only candidate who will not violate his oath of office.
Nobody can claim that the three Senators will do the same because their voting records and an acute absence of Constitutional adherance get in their way.
Where are the McCainiacs, the Obamalanders and the Hillaryous?
Hiding in a corner and hoping this article isn't read by people with common sense. - lafayjr, on 04/09/2008, -6/+14Vote for Ron Paul and this won't be a problem.
- inactive, on 04/09/2008, -3/+9As usual we have the lamers and haters and political cowards digging down the comments and the thread.
What they can't do is come up with a reason why their candidate does not support this in the Senate.
A real voter would at least want to know why they reject such a sound idea.
But these people are concerned only with a delegate count or smoking or snipers or subsidies. They are already running the November election when the primaries are still going on.They can't be concerned with real issues.
Nothing in there about the Constitution because they don't think it is relevant and don't want anyone to ask their candidate about this.
I know that the same people will come here and digg down the comments because they know that their candidate once again just can't stack up. - inactive, on 04/09/2008, -4/+9One would ask that question if one were a real journalist.
- inactive, on 04/09/2008, -2/+7Really? He's still on the ballot in the remaining primaries and he still can be selected at the convention, so when was this "loss"?
Only after they count all of the delegates AT THE CONVENTION will there be a nominee.
Not until. - inactive, on 04/10/2008, -1/+6Cosponsors [as of 2008-01-27]

This is the most up to date list I can find. - inactive, on 04/09/2008, -0/+5Have you read the Constitution?
- PeppermintPig, on 04/10/2008, -1/+6Like *cough* CNN *cough*...
There is time. There's no reason why people who supported Paul should stop. - inactive, on 04/10/2008, -2/+6I want to thank the people who took the time to read this wonderful article and dugg the article and comments. Even though some people want to pretend the election is over we all know there is a lot of time between now and the convention.
- inactive, on 04/10/2008, -2/+6A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for Ron Paul.
I think it is stupid to assume otherwise. - inactive, on 04/10/2008, -1/+4I agree and am pleasantly surprised at the efforts from our fellow supporters in states with primaries and caucus' upcoming.
There really is only one candidate who belongs in the white house and the fact that the MSM "journalists" refuse to ask the three Senators about this shows what a sorry state the press is in. - whatsupimphil, on 04/10/2008, -1/+4Anyone have a list of the 44 co-sponsors in the House? Would I be safe in assuming that Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich are among them?
- buddyj, on 04/10/2008, -2/+4I didn't realize the Constitution was filled with allegory, hyperbole, metaphors, parables, and other poetic symbolism found throughout scripture. So for now I'll have to answer: No, I don't interpret the Bible as literally as I do the Constitution.
- inactive, on 04/10/2008, -3/+5Why have you surrendered to the elite establishment's globalist anti-Constitution agenda by believing that you can only choose between their candidates from their 2 parties? I could just as easily say that a vote for McCain is like a vote for Obama because you should have voted for Ron Paul instead. But anyway, there is very little difference between McCain, Obama, and Hillary anyway with what further damage they will do to this country.
A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for freedom, prosperity, and the Constitution. A vote for McCain or either of the two Democrats is a vote for socialism, globalism, tyranny, and slavery. You can either wake up and see the truth staring you in the face, or you can remain hypnotized by the elite's propaganda and control. - inactive, on 10/05/2008, -1/+3Walt Williams has been loony tunes for years..he has little credibility
- inactive, on 10/05/2008, -1/+3Nice job son, commenting like a coward rather than replying to my comment in hopes I wouldn't see it..More smoke and mirrors by Paultards....BTW, the top of the hour just passed, did you call, fax and email all our members of congress like a good little spammer ? People are waking up to just what a sham you folks are, even our Congressmen..
- inactive, on 10/06/2008, -0/+1sportsstar67/pajeff2/drmagicone/paultards- I directly addressed your stupid assertion. Dr. Williams has far more credibility than you do and he always will. While you are on the internet pretending to have an education he is educating people.
Far from being a "kook" ( which seems to be your only solution to anyone who is smarter than you son) he has been in the mainstream and right about what he has written and said.
As far as being a coward, you can't even admit you have been banned three times from digg and you run away or make lame comments to avoid answering direct questions.
You come here and pretend to be a doctor and CEO and war hero and who knows what all and yet you lack the basic education most high school graduates possess.
You are so obsessed with me you follow me around from thread to thread posting one line responses and insults as if they had any meaning at all.
You have been shown reality. You refuse to accept it.
Unlike you I actually did serve my country. Unlike you I actually did get an education. Unlike you I have personal integrity. Unlike you this is my only digg nickname.
Your accusation that I have committed fraud has been reported and hopefully someone on digg will push the button and ban you yet again.
One thing you cannot defend is your candidate's refusal to support the Enumerated Powers Act.
That's the topic of this thread in case you missed it. - inactive, on 10/05/2008, -2/+1Does anyone wonder why this question hasn't been asked?
Are they prejudiced against Dr. Williams?
If I could ask them one question and they had to answer it fully it would be to explain why they chose to refuse to support the Constitution .Why they would not support the Enumerated Powers act is the great unanswered question. - Jammer, on 04/09/2008, -5/+4We will not have that choice in November. Ron Paul lost, remember?
- Jammer, on 04/14/2008, -4/+3I for one would never, ever even consider putting the safety and security of our country in the hands of some country-bumpkin doctor from East Texas with unrealistic views of the world and a cadre of lunatic fringe supporters; and neither should any other rational, reasonably-intelligent person.
"socialism, globalism, tyranny, and slavery" ? You are insane. - inactive, on 10/05/2008, -3/+1Credibility?
He has far more credibility than you would ever hope to have.
He is a college professor and you are on the internet every night pretending to have an education.
You want to talk about credibility?
He is paid for his mind.
You just hate him for the color of his skin. - whosiwhatzit, on 04/10/2008, -7/+1A vote for Ron Paul puts Obama one vote closer to the White House. Ron Paul has about as much chance of becoming president as you or I. Stop fantasizing and come back down to earth.
- Jammer, on 04/09/2008, -12/+2As usual, Constitutional loony-literalists completely miss the boat on this one. Tell me, y'all: do you interpret the Bible as literally as you do the Constitution?
