And how many people know who had a role in 9/11 have seen what happened to whistle blowers?,Who were afraid of losing their jobs? Who had subliminal or harder threats if they reaveled anything? Or threatened with prison (the gag order)?
Why were people lied to about Iraq? Why would the administration attack Iraq, when sanctions had been in place since '91? Iraq could not do anything without the U.S. knowing it, and by the way..who helped Hussein come to power? Who created Al-Queda? and trained them to fight the Soviets? And then dropped them like a bad habit? But still managed to keep them in proximity? The CIA of course. Now who was blamed for 9/11 right after it happened? Al-Queda? Any particular reason for the Patriot Act? Which was the first piece of action this government did right after 9/11.It does nothing to stop terrorism but it certainly restricts your rights as a U.S. citizen.
And now We advocate torture, you really think government employees may be intimidated by that fact? You think more important details should be classified, especially if they coverup the lies? If all of a sudden the Attorney General can interpret the Constitution to fit the crap We are being fed now,He and the Administration are being dishonest with what they are doing to pull the total power into the presidency.

Have you seen how much un-American, unconstitutional crap has been pulled in the name of 9/11 or just terrorism in general in the past 5 years? Bush just signed a bill that will give him the right to declare martial law whenever he wants, repealing two very old and well known ones. The Real ID act. The war in Iraq. NSA illegal wiretappings that had no legal ramifications. The Patriot Act. All the secret prisons and torture stuff? And don't forget all the people who actually made quite a sizable profit off the whole tragedy...
If you size up possible motive and benefit, the terrorists have gained very little in comparison to the Bush administration and a select few rich men.

The people involved KNEW that the bomb was destined to dropped on people who were actively engaged in killing Americans.
Of course MOST of the people involved assumed it was going to be used against the German's, but they surrendered before it was ready.
And it wasn't as well hidden as you thought. After the bombing, it wasn't much of secret anymore. It's now a matter of public record what went on.
You can't compare that to a "black ops" project was aimed at killing americans. It's just stupid.
You CAN'T have a secret project that involves THOUSANDS of people and get away with it.
Things are NOT as secret as you think. Keeping secrets is HARD. And often the people knowing it, know it's temporary.
Historians know how it easy it is to strip away the lies of governments and get to the truth. We get MOST of our facts about foreign governments by using publicly available information.
There haven't been a single credible piece of evidence that demonstrates any sort of government involvement. There are lot of fuzzy photos. Thee is a lot of use of some of the most unreliable sources and claiming they are reputable. There is no fact checking by these bozos. There is no public discourse.
There is just a lot fear, uncertainty and doubt.
